Chapter 2 Butterfly Effect

 

Being a baby isn't as bad as it seems, I can sleep as long as I want, I can go to the bathroom anywhere without being embarrassed, and I can manipulate everyone with my cuteness.

I am currently 6 months old and there is no sign of my father. However, I don't care as long as he keeps sending us money. In other news, today is the day Izuku is diagnosed as quirkless.

“Mommy, mommy! What quirk do you think I'll have? Will I have telekinesis like you? Or will I be as strong as All Might? I can't wait to tell Kacchan what my quirk will be." Izuku babbled quickly with excitement in his voice.

Then everything happened just like in the anime. The doctor reports that Izuku has no peculiarities and soon after we return home. "I can still be a hero right, mom?" Izuku asks as his tears stain his face.

"I'm sorry Izuku, I'm so sorry." Inko begins to cry as she hugs Izuku. They act like it's the end of the world they are dramatic and weepy.

I guess I can take advantage of this emotional situation. With that, I scoot out of my crib and start crawling toward them.

Currently, I share a room with Izuku, but when I am older I will have my own room.

"Izu...Izuuu." I babble as I crawl towards Izuku. This of course draws the attention of both of them who look at me with wide eyes.

"Did Isamu-Chan say his first word?" Izuku asks wiping tears from his face as he lifts me off the ground.

"Izu...ku." I babble but the message is understandable. Inko begins to cry again as a warm smile spreads across her face.

"Mom, he said my name...his first word was my name." Izuku says starting to hug me and soak me with his tears. "It doesn't matter if I don't have a quirk, I'll protect you, little brother. It's a promise." Izuku says determinedly as he wipes away his tears.

My cuteness is my biggest weapon right now so I have to make the most of it.

I am now 3 years old while Izuku is now 7 years old. I find myself quietly watching TV while Inko is in the kitchen preparing food. At that, the door to our apartment opens quickly and Izuku enters accompanied by a reluctant Bakugo Katsuki who has his hands in his pockets.

"Mom I'm back from school, Kacchan is with me!" Izuku exclaims holding up a bag of candy. Now, this gets my attention.

"Izu-chan, Baka-chan!" I exclaim happily in their direction.

"I've told you 100 times not to call me that, you little demon!" Bakugo exclaims angrily making sparks with his hands.

“Baka-chan, Baka-chan, Baka-chan!” I exclaimed over and over with a defiant smile on my face. I like teasing Bakugo and he knows I like teasing him. "Why are you here?" I asked tilting my head slightly.

He simply clicks his tongue, looking away from me. "The nerd asked me to go with him to buy some candy for his annoying little brother." He says putting his hands back into his pockets.

"That's so sweet of you Baku-chan~ hehe." I hum while Bakugo's face turns red with embarrassment.

"Isamu-chan is so cute!" Izuku exclaims running towards me and hugging me. "I brought you the sweets you like." Izuku says ruffling my hair. "And Kacchan bought you some spicy sweets." Izuku whispers to Bakugo's chagrin.

"Hey, nerd, keep your mouth shut." Bakugou grunted.

I simply snatch the bag of candy from Izuku and start eating it before Inko notices. "Thank you Onii-chan." I babble with cheeks full of candy causing Izuku's eyes to shine like stars before he hugs me again.

"What about me?" Bakugo whispers before widening his eyes as he realizes what he said.

"Thanks to you too, Baka-oniichan." I say with a cheeky smile in his direction causing a small smile to curl up on his lips as he quickly looks away from me and rubs his nose.

"It doesn't matter." It's all he says. The little idiot must be screaming internally.

"Isamu-chan, you should have seen Kacchan at school, he defended me from some bullies." Izuku says raising his hands in the air to get the point across. "He was so cool." He says.

"That is incredible! Baku-chan is that true? Did you defend my brother?" I ask feigning emotion in my voice.

"Of course I defended him!" He says sticking out his chest proudly.

“You are like a hero Baku-chan!” I exclaim hugging him which takes him by surprise as he just messes my hair while his eyes sparkle slightly.

Manipulating children is so easy, Bakugo is desperate for my approval since he sees me as if I'm some kind of little brother to him. Which in turn forces him to defend Izuku against the school bullies so that I admire him. Do I feel bad about manipulating small children? Not at all, after all this is a good result.

In the anime Izuku spends his entire childhood being harassed by Bakugo, however, my presence in this world creates a butterfly effect in which Bakugo is Izuku's friend thanks to me and they both adore me.

I am a good brother…and a good manipulator.

"The food is ready children, I made Katsudon." Inko says preparing the table before walking towards me with her hands on her waist. “Isamu-chan…were you eating candy again?” She says staring at me with that scary look on her face. "They forced me!" I quickly pointed at Izuku and Bakugo while covering my face with my hands. "I am sorry." I whisper tenderly.

It's childish I know! But that look gives me chills, I guess despite being reincarnated having the brain of a 3-year-old has something to do with it.

"The angry mother look always works on Isamu-chan." Izuku says with a smile on his face.

“Kawaii.” Inko exclaims at my cuteness. "I can't be mad at him." She whispers love in her voice as she smothers me in a hug. "But you two..." She says looking at Izuku and Bakugo. "They will wash the dishes after eating as punishment for giving Isamu-chan sweets before eating lunch." She said authoritatively.

Shortly after, I find myself at the table trying to eat, however, Izuku turns out to be very sticky when it comes to me.

"Isamu-chan say haaaa." Izuku says putting another spoonful of Katsudon in my mouth. This should be embarrassing, however, I guess I got used to this kind of situation living with the Midoriya family and I happen to like it. Something that happened very rarely in my previous life. So I will enjoy this life!

After eating I start to pick up my plate and head towards the kitchen, however, a severe headache makes me stop and drop the plate on the floor calling the attention of those present.

“Isamu-chan? Everything's fine?" Inko asks as Izuku and Bakugo quickly get up from the table.

A severe headache makes me scream involuntarily holding my head with both hands. This causes panic in everyone present who starts running toward me shouting my name.

"Isamu-chan!" Inko shouts running towards me with her face full of concern.

At that moment, a large amount of information began to flood my little brain, numbers, algorithms, robotics knowledge, mechanical knowledge, among many other things. It's starting... My quirk!

I will have a lot of fun in this world...

Then I fainted with a smile on my face.
