Today I have the entire tribe gathered in front of my tent. While they wait around under the sweltering sun, I have a parasol providing me shade and many wives fanning me with oversized leaves.
The orcs and human women stand around anxiously waiting for me to speak. They have no idea I'm trying to organize my thoughts into coherent speech.
I'm not used to leading groups. In high school, people simply followed me around. Whenever I asked someone to buy me a pack of smokes or a drink, they did it. If I wanted some time alone, I told them to 'get lost' and they left me alone.
In this world and in front of the people who have named me their chieftain, I can't just demand they bring me something or to just screw off. They're too fucking stupid.
Many of them bring up concerns and complaints that I just don't know how to deal with. Why do I have to deal with someone else's problem? All of the women, too. They see another woman at the top and think they can come to me for every little issue.
I take a juicy bite out of an apple and give the rest to Loraine who delightfully accepts it.
"Alright, you shits. You wanted me to hear out your problems, I'm here to listen. Who's first?"
Loraine scarfs down the rest of the apple and clears her throat. "Korg and Jutta were insistent on meeting with you as soon as possible."
Two orcs present themselves in front of me.
"Okay, Korg and Jutta…"
Both of them look at each other confused.
One of them point's to the other saying, "Me Jutta, that Korg."
And the other follows up with, "that Jutta, me Korg."
"Whatever. What's the problem here?" I ask impatiently
"Jutta steal my boar." Korg points an accusing finger at the other.
I turn to Jutta and ask, "did you?"
"No. Korg lost boar. Me never steal," Jutta says, shaking his head.
Korg shoves Jutta back a few steps. "Not true. Jutta had three boars yesterday. Today, four. Me had two boars yesterday. Today one."
Jutta gets to his feet and shoves Korg back. "Korg can't count. Haha! Stupid!"
"Okay, shut up!" I slam Sacchan on the ground, creating indentation in the earth. "I'm losing brain cells listening to you guys."
Loraine puts a hand on my shoulder. "Chieftain, we have to find a way to resolve this or they may resort to violence."
"Violence, huh. Why not? You two will fight it out at sundown to determine who's right. How's that?"
The orcs beat their chest in agreement, excited at the chance to throw down with the other one. Damn. I haven't had a good fight in a while. Being spoiled day after day with free food and massages is making me complacent.
"Who do we have next?" I ask Loraine.
"Um, actually…" she and all the women of the tribe gather in front of me. "Many of us, as you already know, were kidnapped and taken against our will. Not all of us are fond of the orcs, but we can't exactly go back to our homes either. If we stay here, we demand to be treated as equals— as free women."
The crowd of orcs begin to holler aggressively.
"Women not free!"
"They meat slaves!"
"Don't break chains or we die!"
Sacchan ignites with deep blue flames in my hand. The sight of my burning weapon silences them in an instant.
"Hah? I'm a woman. Does that mean I'm not free?" I ask.
The orcs desperately shake their heads.
"Are you calling your chieftain a meat slave?" I ask, daring them to say otherwise.
The orcs prostrate themselves on the ground, head pretty much scraping the dirt.
I step on top of the closest orc and take practice swings in the air. The fiery bat roars as I drive it through the wind.
"New rule: the women are free, they ain't meat slaves. If you want them to like you, then ya better work on your game. If anyone has problems with that, you can come talk it out with me and Sacchan."
The Rolling Plains orcs are quick to acquiesce after that. It seems having to work for sex is a lot more preferable to being six feet under.
Loraine is overjoyed with my decision, and we get right to breaking the chains off the women. Surprisingly, I can count the number of women leaving on one hand. All of them were the ones brought with me on the night I beat up Bracca. The rest preferred to stay.
Despite how good I'm having it, teaching the orcs to raise boars was miserably difficult. Especially since I have no skill raising animals. Hell, the most I've ever raised was a goldfish that died after a week. But now that we got past that hurdle, the tribe has a steady supply of meat and milk— though boar milk might be the most disgusting drink I've ever had.
I return to my tent after another day of hunting boars and foraging fruits. Strange. The other wives— women, aren't here. Maybe a bunch of them left after I set them free.
Not that I care. It's much more comfortable having a tent to myself. Just as I jump into bed, the tent flap opens. I can barely make out the outlines of Loraine's pointed ears in the dark.
"Looks like the other women left," I tell her.
Loraine remains eerily quiet. It isn't until she comes closer and my eyes adjust to the dark that I realize she's naked.
"Wha?! What are you doing?"
She climbs onto the bed and crawls towards me. "Chieftain, the other women may have left, but I'm still your loyal wife."
"You— you are… but I told you we don't have to… do the things… you did with…"
I'm stuttering over my words like an idiot. Meanwhile, I can't take my eyes off her tits. She notices me staring, and pulls my wrist to grab a handful of them. They're soft. So soft it's like holding a bag of marshmallows.
Loraine comes closer, our faces only inches apart. "I've decided to dedicate my life to you. You're clearly destined for greater things, and I want to support you as you reach for greater heights. If you will have me, I should like to show you the depths of my sincerity."
"I'm— I don't know about great things… I failed second-year math. I can't even comprehend middle school level science…"
"Where you came from doesn't matter. You live here now. With me." She leans in to nibble on my ear, sending a shock through my body.
I try to look for a way out, but part of me wants to keep going. "But we're… both girls…?"
"Love transcends such petty trifles."
The moment she kisses my neck, I blank out.

"Eh?"
I wake up the next morning to Loraine clinging to my side. Both of us are naked. As I try to recount what happened last night, my face turns red hot thinking about it.
I've never been with anyone in my life. Loraine pretty much just took my virginity even though she didn't need to stick anything in. Well, she did stick something in. What was that? Her tongue? That's a thing?

Well, whatever. It felt good so this might not be so bad—
No!
I can't think like that. I'm already complacent as it is. I'm the fucking Queen of Chiba Prefecture. I beat Yui to a pulp. I was on my way to becoming the top dog of the Kanto region until a utility pole did me in.
"Micchi? Where are you going?" Loraine wakes up as I'm changing and calls me by my name— she'd been calling me chieftain until now. The way she says it sends an all too familiar tickle up my spine, reminding me of our intimate adventure.
"Uh, erm… just getting some air. I'll be back later."
"Wait—!" Loraine doesn't even bother to cover herself, and I get another good look at her bombshell body. She drops a silver pendant of a crescent moon dangling a green stone in my hand. "If you're going alone, take this at the very least. It can be dangerous out there."
"Th-Thanks…"
Loraine leans in and puckers her lips for a kiss, but I can't look at her without going beet red.
"Hey, look— I'm not used to this yet… so give me some time!"
I grab Sacchan and head out as fast as I can.
The Rolling Plains, as I learned from the other women, is only known as such by the orcs. The other more intelligent races call it Tamakanui. It's a tropical savanna, which makes sense seeing how green the landscape is.
I've been traveling pretty far towards the east now. Many of the floating mountains I saw on day one are now right above my head. There are many different shapes and sizes, and some could even fit a whole house on them. Others are small as boulders, and I can only wonder what the hell is keeping them suspended in air.
"Magic, maybe? Yeah, just chalk everything up to magic at this point. No need to sweat over shit I dunno."
I came out here looking for a fight, but there doesn't seem to be anything except small critters. Wishing for another dire boar or two to whack might have been too much to hope for.
"Hm…?"
The ground begins to shake. Animals are running past me in a panic. A dire boar stampedes into view, followed by an entire sound of younger boars. I clutch Sacchan tightly ready for a fight, but they avoid me, making a wide berth as they flee.
"What the fuck? Are they running away from something?"
While more and more creatures are running past me, I head towards where they're coming from. The earth beneath my feet begins to splinter until a large monolith emerges from the ground. A pulsing red crystal levitates at the top of the stone pillar.
The monolith suddenly splits down the middle. A hulking giant with obsidian skin and red eyes steps out from it and roars. It must be at least three times the size of an orc.
Even though the shaking has stopped, my legs haven't. A very human fear washes over me for the first time in ages. The giant sees me, pulls a large slab of steel out from the monolith, and stomps my way.
My fight or flight instincts kick in telling me to run away, but I trip over something and land hard on the ground. Loraine's pendant falls out of my pocket.
"I sense two magical items here," Its voice comes out a low rumble. "They shall make for fine presents to the Demon Lord."
Am I going to die here? That thing drags its large broadsword, carving a trench into the ground as it approaches me. I grab Loraine's pendant as my heart beats so loud I think it's going to burst. For some reason, I hear Yui's shrill laughter taunting me, and it's enough to put me back on my feet.
"Not scared, little girl?" It's taunts are nothing compared to the nunchaku bitch whose voice rings clear as day in my head.
"Demon Lord? Don't give me that cliche bullshit. If I'm gonna die, I'm going out fighting."
The large slab of steel comes crashing down on my head. I swing Sacchan to meet his blow and deflect the broadsword from bisecting me.
The monster is surprised. "What? A human shouldn't possess this much strength!"
"I'm the Queen of Chiba, bitch. And you're on my turf now!"
I dash between his legs as the sword plummets behind me. One good swing to his shin brings him to his knees. He starts swinging wildly, but the clumsy attacks are easier to read and dodge now that he's panicking.
Fire and lightning rains down all over us. He's unaffected, but one blast hits too close and sends me flying into a tree.
"Guh!" The impact nearly knocks my lights out.
There's a green glow in my pocket where I put Loraine's pendant. The pain subsides and I'm back on my feet.
"You're strong, but weak against magic. Queen of Chiba, was it? Never heard of Chiba, but I'll remember your name when I burn you to a crisp."
Balls of fire float around him like the unhinged mountains above us. He sends one blast hurling towards me, but it misses by just a hair.
"You wanna play it like that," I spit into both of my palms and take a batting stance. "Batter up!"
I can hit these. I've swatted Loraine's spells before.
Another fireball hurls toward me. I swing hard but it goes wide.
"Ah-cha… that's a foul ball back on Earth, ya know? C'mon, you can pitch better than that."
The monster's eyes twitch with anger. Instead of launching one, he sends an entire volley. Despite being pelted with fire from all angles, I'm able to sidestep the ones I can't hit, and send back the ones I can. The fireballs slam into him, throwing him back to the steps of the monolith and charring him from head to toe.
He tries to get up, but the bones I broke in his ankles and shin earlier keep him grounded.
"Damn you!"
I spit on him as he crawls to the monolith's entrance. "Don't forget my name. Because when you go back to your shit hole, you gotta tell them who fucked you up."
The monolith sinks back into the ground along with the demon. As the earth closes up, so too do all the traces there ever was of the ground being cracked. I give Sacchan a kiss and drop to the floor catching my breath.
"Heh. That's right. I can't die yet. I got a big-titty dark elf wife to get home to. Ain't no one's doing me in so long as I got Sacchan."
***
By the time I get back, the sun has completely set. The tribe is looking a lot more rowdy than usual, with a big crowd gathered in the center of the encampment.
Loraine tackles me with a hug. Worry is written all over her face. "You're hurt! Are you alright?"
"Ah, yeah. Just squared off with a demon."
"A demon— you?!" The color in her face drains to a ghastly white. "Micchi, demons are no laughing matter."
I try to push her off as we're getting awkward looks from the others. "Enough about me. What's going on over there?"
Loraine sighs, and guides me towards the crowd.
"It seems more and more orcs are settling the theft issue with an evening brawl."
"Oh. That's the spirit! They're solving the problems on their own now. So what's the problem?" I ask.
"Well, you see… after you told Korg and Jutta's to fight out their problems, the other orcs have been doing the same. Now they feel justified stealing from each other as long they think they can beat the other one up."
I put a hand to my face. "You're telling me I allowed them to make more problems?"
