Each transmigrator has their own place in the Ninth Heaven, called "Space."

Space is an inter-dimensional vacuum-like region that is initially comprised of a five-by-five square meter area enclosed with stark white walls. The room's initial standard furnishing consists of a sizeable fleecy bean bag, a low wood table, and a three-tiered bookshelf. By advancing in level or using points to buy land, the region can be enlarged.

It is one of the places where the transmigrators withdraw after finishing a world.

It acts as a sort of intermediary between the dimensions, exerting a distinct influence. Transmigrators have the option of staying within one world after finishing it or proceeding to embark on the next. Going inside will have no effect on their journey, though transmigrators will be unable to enter it while on a mission.

The Space can be used in various ways.

Most of the time, transmigrators use it as a rest stop. Transmigrators are souls, and thus they do not necessarily sense exhaustion or physical strain. However, younger souls tend to have an inkling of their earthly instincts and are still easily influenced by the world they have been through. They experience "tiredness" at some point and retreat to their spaces to rest.

Aside from "physical fatigue," there are psychological variables that might have a substantial impact on a soul's disposition. Not all worlds are pleasant, and the greater part of them include extremely high levels of violent energies, which lead to extremely graphic events. Souls with inadequate mental powers may suffer trauma.

During this state, the system would force their contracted souls to the Space to recuperate. The neutrality of the Space can alleviate trauma and assist souls in adjusting their states of consciousness. After all, the vast majority of souls are born as humans only once.

Time is also non-existent.

Another use of the Space is its unlimited storage capabilities.

Since the souls are permitted to bring items from the realms to which they have transmigrated, the initial area would obviously be inadequate to accommodate them. As a result, in addition to receiving a role promotion, they spend points to purchase land. The souls are not concerned about spending so much because there is no upper limit to space expansion.

Jin Wei, being an old transmigrator, will certainly have a vast territory. When the points he used to purchase a few hundred plots are added together, his space would be regarded as being among the top ten largest developed regions in Ninth Heaven. One of the souls that occasionally comes over to chat would describe his space as "as vast as the universe."

Though that phrase has both figurative and literal meanings.

Figuratively, in the sense that his domain is so vast that a single day is not enough to explore it all. Jin Wei would spend weeks, if not months, covering an eighth of the region without resting. This is not an understatement when one takes into account the millennia he spent exploring numerous worlds.

Literally, because his area is indeed just like the universe itself.

Transmigrators all have different interests. Some people collect clothes, while others collect stamps. One soul even displays his collection of flowers that he has collected from several realms with pride. The same interest is shared by Jin Wei; however, he prefers to collect memories.

Jin Wei hummed gently, his hands in his pockets, as he strolled along the corridor. System 777 flew thoughtlessly, following him closely. The Ninth Heaven consists of nothing but chambers and more chambers connected by doors. Some chambers are huge, some are small, and most of them are guarded by a certain deity.

He was currently in the zone where the transmigrators dwell, or the area where the Spaces are located, which resembles a hotel with an endless hallway with closed doors.

Along the route, many transmigrators are also walking with their systems, conversing, or just lounging around. Others would stop and engage in a brief conversation with Jin Wei, while others would quickly nod in greeting. Jin Wei simply gives a proper response while taking as much time as he wants.

They finally arrived at their destination after a long walk. Each room was identified by a number that corresponded to its system code. Since Jin Wei belongs to System 777, his room is designated as Room 777. Over the doorknob, a scanner is positioned as a form of enforcement. Only the owner of the room could enter it, ensuring no foreign souls could access other people's Spaces.

Jin Wei inserted his card into the scanner, waited for the system to recognize his identity, and walked past the sliding door to the medium-sized room, which was half occupied by a king-sized bed. A low table was placed alongside the bed, with four red cushions on either side and an exquisite tea set resting just above the tabletop.

There are a few shadowy creatures moving about here, doing odd jobs like sweeping the floors or making the bed. Jin Wei gave them a sidelong glance before walking towards the large French door in the far corner. He flung it open, revealing the vastness of the black night sky.

An innocent, childlike smile bloomed from his lips as he stood there gazing at the endless space. The wide expanse of land is full of grasses, swaying lightly as if being blown by the wind. Jin Wei moved forward and headed towards a large tree with a curved trunk and its crown and branches draped in purple-red wisteria.

A swing made of a tire is hanging from one branch of the large tree, while another swing with a wooden chair is tied beside it.

Jin Wei sat down gently on the wooden chair swing. For a while, the wisteria tree swayed, prompting some of its pink and purple petals to fall and flutter to the ground. Jin Wei threw his shoulders back and tightened his grip on the swing's ropes before glancing up at the sky. The pitch-black space that he believed would remain dark forever is suddenly breathtakingly dazzling.

This is the universe he created.

When Jin Wei accumulated memories, he wasn't doing them in the way that other souls do. Memory acquisition is quite common, and each person has their own method of preserving it. Some memories are stored in memory chips, while others would rather build multiple televisions to view their memories in a theater-like setting.

Jin Wei has a distinct style.

If some of the dwellings are ornamented with random items obtained from various worlds, Jin Wei then empties his Space. He merely purchased uncountable hectares of grass-covered flatlands, and he blanketed the sky with a pitch-black vacuum that resembled the cosmos. He just left enough room for his sleeping quarters and the thousand-year-old wisteria tree he acquired from a certain world.

He stored his memories in this void.

Jin Wei would harvest his memories and cast them in an exquisite glass globe after completing each realm. He then releases this glass ball into the void of space, where it will drift perpetually and reappear anytime he conjures it. He accumulated a vast amount of memories, making the vacuum resemble an expansive universe with countless stars.

Jin Wei regularly takes several days off before embarking on a trip, so he spends his free time stargazing. Jin Wei, as a dimensionless soul, enjoys enacting roles in various dimensions and desires to place them in this lovely void. System 777 frequently complimented him for his ingenious collection techniques.

In this instance, Jin Wei is like the universe—empty.

Without the stars, planetary bodies, and galaxies, the universe is only a vacuum. The universe is everyone's home, yet it is also a strangely lonely place. Jin Wei, like a star, is drifting across space, yearning for a place to call home.

This time, Jin Wei is to place another glass globe of memories. Opening the satchel on his side, he extracted a translucent, spherical object that was glowing vividly.

If one were to look attentively, one could find a replay of images of individuals and events from someone's perspective. With a nostalgic grin, Jin Wei viewed his entire existence from the previous realm before extending his arms to release the glass globe into the sky.

There is no wind inside the area, but the way the glass globe went up appears to suggest that wind is pushing it up. Clusters of bright light encircled the glass globe, revolving around the object with recklessness, lifting the memories higher into the sky. Jin Wei waved his hand as he said goodbye to the memories, then he hoisted it from the side ropes and proceeded to swing.

Transmigrated souls are sensible beings. They possess the strongest emotions of all. Many assert that a transmigrator will grow indifferent after becoming accustomed to moving between alternate realms. This is both accurate and misleading, because leaving a world can still elicit such strong feelings of nostalgia that many transmigrators will go to great lengths to collect and analyze them.

However, such craziness won't persist for very long. Even though some of the pleasant realms tempt many transmigrators, they are, after all, inhabited by souls who made contracts to fulfill their obligations to their karmic fates in their original realms. Once they have completed their task, they will essentially return to their starting point.

Although Jin Wei has his own opinions on the matter, he prefers to keep them to himself.
