"This coward..." Mou Bu gritted his teeth, booting the horse to go faster as the soldiers behind followed his example. Because of the dense forest, the archers couldn't properly aim at the enemy General, thus they couldn't do anything other than simply follow the figure.
They had already been going at it for ten minutes, and Mou Bu couldn't be more mad than right now. He swung his club like a madman to remove the dead trees in the way. Thankfully, they soon reached a part of the forest where it was less dense and a few archers released their arrows.
The arrows pierced the horse's legs as it stumbled, causing the General to fall against the ground face forth. Mou Bu and his soldiers took this moment to circle around the enemy.
"Hahaha... that's what you get for running away like a coward!" Mou Bu laughed loudly as he looked at presumably Draco. However, he only heard a laugh coming from underneath the helmet. The person grabbed onto his helmet and threw it to the ground.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock.
It wasn't the General. He looked nothing like him.
Mou Bu frowned, suddenly having a terrible predicament. He looked around and saw multiple shadows coming from the surroundings. Before even realizing it, his entire unit had been circled.
"I see. It was some scheme in the end." Mou Bu's face didn't change one bit as he glanced upwards, seeing tens of enemy soldiers sitting on the branches. They held bows in their hands.
"General Draco is truly smart. Who could have predicted that you would leave your army alone?" Rein and Dou Sei walked out of the shadows as well, clutching their weapons.
"There was no need for me to be there. That battle was already predetermined." Mou Bu answered.
"That's what he wanted you to think." Dou Sei smiled. "From the beginning, you were playing in the palm of his hand."
Even more veins popped on his forehead. What the hell was this prick talking about? Mou Bu took his club and swung it at the fake General, causing half of his body to rip away. Blood spurted into the air.
"So what?! Did your General think that this little ambush could kill me?! Mou Bu roared like a beast, causing everyone to feel goosebumps on their necks.
"No, we didn't come here to kill you in the first place. We are just here to stall for time." Rein smirked, lifting her hand in the air. "We came here to sacrifice ourselves."
Mou Bu had a sudden realization. He looked around in bewilderment. That General... he wasn't here. That meant only one thing. Mou Bu roared like a beast, rushing at Rein and Dou Sei. He couldn't let that happen!
General Draco was after his three commanders!
Rein signaled the archers to open fire.
An intense battle began within the forest.

Draco looked over the battlefield. As expected, they were losing by a huge margin. Not only were Qin's troops stronger, but they also had someone commanding them, which made their attacks much more coordinated. The soldiers who came rushing from the forest earlier have already been almost annihilated, but that was also a part of the plan.
By sacrificing them, Draco made it seem like this battle was going in the favor of Qin, but that was far from the truth.
"It should be about time that they started moving," Draco mumbled to himself as he almost exploded from the spot. He didn't hop on a horse and moved more slyly. The battlefield was a mess, and soldiers could no longer recognize their enemy from the ally. That's what always happened when fighting in open fields.

Draco grabbed a sword from the ground, cleaning it from the blood as he coated it with mana. Then he looked into the distance at the three commanders that were mercilessly killing their enemies. They were his target and the ultimate piece of the missing puzzle.
Draco made his way toward the commanders, killing everyone in his way. He ran like a madman before eventually reaching his target. The three of them seemed to notice his existence as they all looked down at him from their horses.
'I have to be fast.' Draco heard them say something, but he didn't care enough to listen. He swung his sword horizontally at an extreme speed as all the horses dropped dead against the ground. The commanders didn't hide their shock as they opened their mouths. They couldn't even see when the attack happened.
"Berserker." Draco activated the skill as both of his eyes turned red. Veins popped all over his body as the three commanders whisked a step back. His mana exploded more violently and Draco rushed forth.
The commanders weren't weak. No, they weren't weak at all. Their power was comparable to Kevin's. However, in front of Draco's barrage of attacks, they couldn't do anything. More and more wounds accumulated on their bodies when a smile formed on Draco's face.
He swung his sword toward the commander as the enemy extended his sword to defend against the attack. However, Draco's sword broke it in half and a head flew into the air.
'First.' Draco thought before dodging another attack coming from above. The death of their comrade agitated the two, hence their advances turned fiercer, but that only revealed more openings.
The battle didn't last long, and soon, all three commanders were lying dead on the ground. For the first time in a while, a silence descended on the battlefield as both sides stopped fighting. The fight lasted only around five minutes, yet three of Qin's army commanders died.
Draco looked around the battlefield, noting that everyone's eyes were on him. He took his helmet and threw it away, lifting his head in the air. "Mou Bu and his three commanders are dead! Advance!"
For a few more seconds, the entire battlefield was silent until the Wei soldiers roared in excitement. It almost felt like their injuries disappeared as they once again rushed into the battle, filled with adrenaline.
"Mou Bu is dead? T-that's impossible, right?"
"Wait, isn't that General Draco... didn't General Mou Bu rush into the forest to kill him?"
"I-if he is here, doesn't that mean that General Mou Bu...is actually dead?"
The enemy soldiers started having their doubts as they started taking a few steps back. Draco smirked at their response, deactivating [Berserker]. He then lifted his hand into the air and shouted again. "Unit 36!"
As his overwhelming voice resounded throughout the battlefield, a few hundred soldiers rushed from the forest again, moving in the shape of an arrow. They were the last troops at Draco's disposal.
Their goal was the same as before; break away a part of the army.
However, this time it was going to work perfectly.
Draco grabbed his sword.
He felt exhausted, and his shoulder stung from the pain.
Yet, he kept on moving.
