Eiko Tsuyoshi...

How would I describe her? Something reminiscent of a ball comprised completely of warm sunshine. She is an amazing person who could brighten anyone's day with her cheery attitude and pure demeanor. She is the cheerleader of class 1-4, our motivator, a battery in our backs.

Even the shyest person feels comfortable around her, and that's impressive. All those things, coupled with her intelligence, will allow her to be an excellent person for the leadership position of class 1-4. Unfortunately, our class has not thought that far ahead as yet.

They only see the present and dwell in the past. We are currently still recovering from the rug being pulled from under our feet, so caution is being exercised. All the things we would normally do are only done in slight moderation.

We still have the occasional texting and sleeping in active classes, but that's just teenagers. We do dumb things even though we know what's sensible. However, sometimes we have to sit and think about how our own actions may affect the people around us. It could be negative or positive.

Some of us don't practice that and it may be our downfall.

On the topic of leadership, I often thought about it and came to the conclusion that I dislike the stoplight. It has never once interested me. I think it has something to do with not having the freedom to do certain things without it being highlighted.

Now that I reflect on it, the main reason is that I believe a leadership position just shines a spectatorial light on all the chinks in your proudly worn armor. I used to think I was afraid to stand out, but as I dug deeper into the reasoning, I realized I wasn't. I concluded that I just didn't want people to consistently depend on me. I hate to disappoint others, and I hate to be disappointed by others even more.

Quite the conundrum, right?

We have no idea when the second class clash will be and we, as a whole, are not ready for that. We believe we are, but if we approach it as it is right now. It will only end in another failure and further negative views on this experimental class. Soon or later, if we're not making any progress, they will all be kicked out of this school. Wiped clean and records removed as well. That's what I feel and somehow my gut knows that.

There's no way Saikoyo Prep will keep records of ever having a joke class like ours, especially if we all get expelled. It will just bring down the school's success ratings. So the most sure thing will be to get rid of the evidence and just forever deny its existence, because the longer you proclaim something, the truer it becomes overtime.

Another class leadership candidate would be Minori Tadeka.

A term to describe her would be how I first labeled her when we met. That term would be head strong.

She has the intelligence to make an excellent leader, but she lacks something important that makes a leader effective.

If I listed out what I think she possessed already, it would be

Determination, willpower, vision, and motivation.

She greatly lacks a proper leadership attitude due to her frigid personality. It's so cold at times that even the surface-level friendships she attempts to form prove useless.

She says she wants to resurrect class 1-4 from their current ashes, like the phoenix we can be. Well, so she thinks, but she won't be able to do that. Minori needs to work on herself before she can work on others.

I still think that she will make a fine leader despite everything, if polished correctly.

What I can't seem to figure out is how she ended up in this classroom. Her scores were above what they were asking for.

Did something happen which caused her to be placed here? Politics? Mixed up paperwork? Maybe it's something deeper than that.

None the less, it still doesn't change the fact that she's here.

So those are my personal picks for who I think the classroom leader is, but I'll lean more heavily in favor of Eiko Tsuyoshi, not because I have a crush on her or anything related to that. She would be the most logical choice out of an entire classroom.

So when the event finally comes up, she strongly has my vote.
