Chapter 6: Rewrite

"Okay, Saber go all out.." Shiro yelled from a far distance.

They were in the middle of an open valley, Shiro wanted to test out Saber's new skill and Noble Phantasm where there will be no casualties.

He hid behind one of the rocks giving saber the go signal to carry on with the plan.

Saber stood out in the open, closing her eyes as she slowly raised her sword to the sky. Not long after, her blade started absorbing tiny yellow flashing Mana from every corner of the surroundings.

There was a time still and the only thing Saber could hear was the sound of the breeze gushing past her ear, with a deep breath, she opened her eyes.

"EX!" A huge sonic wave spread from the tip of the sword creating massive damage to the ground as the earth erected in a scattered manner, "CALIBUR!" the mana that was around the sword intensified and grew so long that it passed the clouds.

She then held her stance before slashing her sword downward, the mana followed, splitting the ground in two and causing an earthquake that almost cleared the entire valley.

Once the magic was depleted, Saber's blade went back to nomal, and the dust cleared out.

Shiro stood behind the rock in complete shock, watching from far the destruction that Saber caused, "Saber, we should probably get out of here" Shiro uttered.

"Hai".

*4:50 pm*

Shiro was in the classroom, sitting on the desk as he was looking over his skill on the panel.

"Okay, Rewrite, apparently this skill lets me Rewrite any part of my body, so in which case I can go faster, be stronger?" Shiro asked.

{Affirmative}

"Interesting, okay, let's try this out" He jumped off the table and stood in the middle of the classroom.

{I should also inform you that, a Servants Noble Phantasm is their ace in a battle, revealing it out in the open when not in battle is reckless}

"I hear ya, "Shiro closed his eyes, trying to focus, "Rewrite… leg output…link in" His body showed blue glowing strips from his chest and networked all the way to his legs.

"Wow, my legs feel so light, this is slick" He planned to take a small jump and ended up going as high as hitting the ceiling of the class.

He fell to the ground, face first before his body came crashing down, "Link..out" He groaned before standing to his feet.

"This is insane… to think I can do stuff like this is definitely insane," He said, looking at his hand surprisingly.

Saber walked in holding her balde in her hand, "Master it's time, come on I don't have to remind you" She uttered.

"Oh damn, the fight club" Shiro yelled, grabbing his ticket from his trousers to make sure it was still intact.

*7:30 pm*

Shiro and Saber were on their way to the underground fight club, Shiro was nervous as hell that he didn't even utter a single word since exiting the classroom.

Saber sighed, "Why so tense master? Are you perhaps scared?" She asked.

"Of course not", He looked around and saw people closing up their shops and heading home.

"If you say so… what I don't understand is why we are still taking this battle, not that I mind or anything, just seems like a waste of time," Saber said.

"Wow, ever since your level up, you've been rather … chatty" Shiro uttered, giving her a sarcastic look.

"I'm just saying, we can earn money in the Ft zone, I see no reason to battle in a place like this"

"Look, the dude already paid for the ticket, and besides, I wanna beat him so bad" Shiro squeezed his fist.

He walked past a shop and something interesting caught his eye, a mask…

a black mask that was placed at the view mirror for sale.

"Unbelievable… you spent 350aixz on a silly mask" Saber yelled.

"It's not a silly mask, you'll see why I love masks. When I put it on, I feel like a different person, probably a better version of myself" Shiro said, standing at the entrance of the underground fight club.

Saber sighed, placing her blade on her shoulder, "I trust you…I can't have a fool for a master".

Shiro gave an awkward chuckle, "I'll take that as a compliment, come on let go in."

When they walked in, the first thing they saw was Kris holding a master's neck in the arena before the announcer jumped down from the high stand.

"Uuuu, and down goes the dynamite, he is unstoppable, let's hope our next contestant can break this streak," The commentator said, he was dressed like a joker, and differently had the smile of one.

"Calling our third contender…." The drum roll came in as the spotlight flashed on Shiro who was looking for a seat, "Shiro Tenma !"

"Oh boy" Shiro smiled awkwardly.

They got to the stage and it was finally time for them to battle, Shiro was still nervous but Saber was thrilled, the look on her face says it all.

"Hey… Tenma, I hope you came prepared" Kris yelled.

"Don't let him get to you" Shiro told himself, He brought out the mask from his pocket and wore it.

"Good luck, try not to die" Kris uttered.

The bell rang and it didn't take long for Saber to clash weapons with Berserker, using her blade to block Berserker's attack, she kicked him in the guts and pushed him back a few feet.

"At Least try to put up a fight" Saber pointed her blade at him, "This wouldn't be much fun if it were one-sided don't you agree."

Meanwhile, Shiro was heading straight for Kris, "Okay, here we go, taking him out and end it quick".

Kris suddenly showed up in front of him, launching multiple knives at him.

Shiro stopped, and kept on running while trying to avoid the flying knives "Rewrite… legs..link in".

Shiro sped up, dodging the knives while heading straight for Kris, he took a huge leap, launching his entire body forward.

"Coming to me directly, that's pretty bold" Kris commented.

"Arms… link in '' Shiro yelled, transferring the magic from his leg to his arm, getting ready to hit Kris with a punch.

"You're not half bad, but still… you're weak" Kris opened his hands and the knives all went targeting Shiro in mid-air.
