"... what?" When Eugene first opened the letter, she thought that she would be stuck in a hell hole known as the hole of negativity. But… What? Come again? The end?
What sort of bull crapping letter was this?! A letter that incites the feeling of annoyance towards the writer?
"Is something wrong, Comrade Eugeneia?"
Eugene jumped the moment Con spoke. "...N, no." Nothing was wrong. Nothing was wrong at all. Just that the letter ended annoyingly. And that she had forgotten about his existence?
Eugene shoved the letter back into the envelope. No one knows how much she wanted to burn this letter or how much she wanted to rip it to shreds. This letter was just a bunch of spoilers that didn't get to the main point, and it was probably one of the worst letters ever written.
"Haaa." Eugene exhaled and shook her head.
Onto the next letter.

.
"Does sister still believe that you are not my real sister? Well, sister is wrong. Sister has always been my sister, in this life, in your former life, and in all our past lives."
"..." Ehm. The letter no longer contained spoilers but something more… shocking? For some reason, Eugene misses the first letter.
"To explain all our lives, I must first explain our first life, the first memory that is engraved in my brain, my soul, and my heart. A memory that drove me to live countless lives.
When we were born in our first life, I was born as the eldest miss of the house of Veria. Sister was born as the youngest miss of the house of Veria. Life was very different in that life. We grew up close when we were younger, but I got full of myself and pushed you away. I began to become engrossed with the responsibility as the eldest daughter and as the possible heir to the Veria family.
Does sister ever wonder why the Veria house never holds a tea party? Have you wondered why our social circles are different from other nobles?"
Eugene got an answer immediately, 'Because of Moniqua.' She heard that a big incident occurred a long time ago that involved Moniqua. Because of this, Levis, Clyde, Earnest, Irvin, and Amos declared their exit from the world of socializing and they never joined the circle ever again. To this day, Moniqua and the yet-to-be 'Great Nobles' exit remains as something other Nobles or commoners would talk about. After all, to stop socializing means being unable to gather the information that relates to the country, forming bonds and becoming allies, etc etc.
After this exit, only five people were able to retain the title 'Duke' in Xenperia; hence the name Great Nobles. And the reason why was precisely because of this incident. Through this incident, many lost their Duke titles and got reduced to Marquess, Earl, or eventually even losing all their powers. This was because they encountered the wrath of the current Emperor who ascended to the throne around the time this incident occurred.
Nevertheless, the Nobles circle was still powerful because it included all the Marquess, Earls, Viscounts, and Barons of Xenperia.
"I paid no heed to fathers words and began to join the aristocratic circle. After all, it was a duty every noblewoman and every nobleman should assume. The other nobles were of course wary of me at first, however, they soon warmed up to me and allowed me to participate with them at ease.
Social parties, tea parties, and banquets. I attended and hosted those frequently in order to gain power, and the influences one born to the Veria should commit themselves to. But because of this, I disregarded mother's past, father's words, and sister's warnings to not betray mother.
And that was the first wall I built up against everyone. A wall that caused a wedge between everyone and myself. Back then I thought that duties were the only thing important to me but also something that turned everyone against me. It was a dilemma I believed in for a long time. That everyone turned against me for simply wanting to commit to my duties as an aristocrat.
During that time, a huge incident occurred. There were many reports of strange incidents occurring, and all of a sudden we were bombed with the existence known as magic; Occul.
Eugene's eyes twitched once she saw a familiar name pop up and she got up almost instantaneously. She walked to the bush and took out a bag she had hidden in here since she was three. She rummaged through the bag until she found a badly kept book that had been through many hardships. Aka rain and wind.
"Occul Island"
This was a book she purchased back when she was three. She remembered being attracted to this book because it had been misplaced on the Military aisle. Back then, she had wanted to return this book to its rightful place, however forgot about it and ended up buying the book. Only after coming back from Zene did she remember she bought this book and began reading it in her free time.
Occul Island was basically a book about fantasy. About an adventurer getting lost and eventually ending up on an Island called Occul. The island was filled with unexplainable stuff and people who lived there were the people you would read from magical-fantasy books. The islander welcomed the adventurer with a warm heart and showed him many things. They made him fly, float and showed him various magics. In the end, the man had to leave because he had a family he had left behind. He made a promise with the people of Occul that he would bring his family here one day but no matter how hard he tried to find his way back, he couldn't find the island.
Back then, Eugene had been annoyed that she bought a fantasy book instead of a useful book. Hence, she skimmed through many magical parts and only knew the gist of the story.
But what if this book wasn't a fantasy book but was a real autobiography?
Eugene set the book down once she confirmed the title and began to read the letter again.
"Occul is what exists within everyone. It is magic within you. To use Occul, one must be able to see Cul. Cul is a rainbow orb in the air that spawns naturally. It is something people who have not activated their Occul can't see. To activate Occul, you must get external help. And to get external help, you must get help from an elder who resides in Occul Island.
Occul island is a land where people with occul lives. It is a land not visible by eye or by anyone living outside of Occul. The reason why the island is not known by anyone is that someone who has since passed away used his powers to make everyone forget about the existence of Occul and the island due to a big incident that occurred back in the day.
This incident occurred because there had been people who were against the existence of magic. And the people who were against this existence were people with big powers, aka, Nobles, Kings, and Queens. The reason is simple, and it is because they couldn't stand commoners being able to use Occul and commoners whose Occul were greater and more powerful than them.
These commoners with great Occul were exterminated by these big powers. And because of this incident, all commoners lost their social standing once again and began getting persecuted one by one by those with big powers.
They were pushed to leave their homes, countries and were eventually put together on one island. This island is Occul Island.
Due to the severity of the situation where those with big power were out for them, a man with powerful Occul sacrificed his life and made everyone who did not live in Occul Island forget about Occul, forget about their existence. And that was how this island survived to this day.
However, that wasn't the only reason why no one discovered Occul Island. Another man with Occul as powerful as the man who made everyone forget about their existence, merged himself with the island in order to keep the island away from people's eyes. This was done to protect everyone from outsiders and to be able to constantly move the island from one location to another.
Eugene furrowed her brows, "Occul..." She mumbled to herself unconsciously.
'Occul?' Con glanced at Eugene from behind her.
"Everyone in Occul always believed that they had to contain themselves to the island and to never leave the island. This belief lasted for thousands and thousands of years until people with powerful Occul were born one after the other. These people did not need an elder to activate their powers and were able to manifest Occul by themselves.
And their powers were what distinguished them from people with common Occul.
Naturally, people with powerful Occul did not like to be contained in a box and hated the cage that their predecessors put them in. As a result, they opened the island and spread their existence to the world with the help of someone who had the most powerful Occul in history, the elder of the island.
