Oh. So maybe the status board I'm viewing is different from the one used in this world. I remember hearing Unknown say that we're using a more accurate status board.

"5-digits.. mine is only a few thousand?"

I hooked up the ShareView widget to my view, used [God's Eyes] and pulled up Javiel's status for all to see. I know not every one of his stat values are the same but.. everything above 10,000 is already a nightmare.

Mind you, if the status board this world was using was linear, the one I'm using is quadratic– a multiplier.

I don't know what value Javiel would show if we used the normal [Appraisal]. And I don't wish to try either.

"What should we do.. this is.. how can a demon lord like this exist? It's ludicrous," Teal's ears kept shivering.

"Calm down my child. There must be something that can be done– Noel-sama, we will have to request your help on our behalf if anything unforeseen happens."

"Sure.. Actually, we just need to take away this skill here and his stats will go away. Check out the description," I appraised the [United as One] Unique Skill.

"Take away skills? Huh? You have that ability?"

"Sure do. So.. no worries. You can just text me if there's any emergencies."

I guess this'll calm down everyone for now. I don't know when that expected 'siege' would befall on the Elven Territory but the least I could do for them is this.

Looks like we play a much bigger role in stopping the war between the empire and the demon lord than I thought..

I'll assume that dwarf to be another one of the past generation heroes' accomplice. It's your typical isekai trope.

Nine was the one who received the door. The meeting with Gaia took longer than expected. The sky was already turning orange by the time we said goodbye and Nine had to text me to ask me where I was.

"How did you.. get this?"

"Great right? We can afford a room now."

"Answer me oi!"

"I met with the Goddess of Nature."

"Why didn't you enter Bleu's domain? What happened?"

"Just some brain fog. Well, it accidentally didn't make it in so I decided to spend the night alone– when I realized that I could go visit her. So I did."

"Right.." Nine was skeptical. "You totally missed out on the barbeque we had last night."

"Whatever. At least I got some points," I sighed.

"Are you alright?"

"Sorta. I just need some time to sort out my feelings.."

I still don't know if I actually went back to the past or.. that was just some different dimension. When I asked Teal about it, I realized that I was subconsciously avoiding the truth. Whatever, it's not that important now anyways.

"Noel."

"Morning Liliath."

And she hugged me.

"Sorry. I kinda missed the bus."

She said nothing. And we spent a moment in each other's embrace. It kinda feels like I just returned from overtime work or something— it's an odd feeling. At the same time, doesn't this look like I went and had an affair? It's a joke of course.

I saw Rin peeking over.

"Rin, morning." I said.

"M-Morning," she bowed curtly.

"Where were you?" Prune asked.

"Check the shared points, that's what I've been up to."

Problems are.. as I see it.

Maybe being bound to Rin isn't such a bad thing after all. Think about it, I was constantly worried about a future that might never happen. Heck, how would I know if Rin became that middle person that solves a conflict between Liliath and myself? That could happen right?

I don't even know what will happen in the future. Trying to guess-work it all.. that's what I was doing.

I can only take small steps each day. Sure, it's great that I'm looking into the future but dwelling on that idealistic vision.. that's not a good thing. The present is also important.

Anyways.

A few days have passed since then. Nine and I got a room for ourselves hooray! Gaia had already left so I didn't have the chance to exploit the Pointsexchnage widget again.. and it seems like what I did was a legal move. Unknown didn't put any sort of restriction on it… which means the next time I meet her, I can create a treasure trove of points.

Oh great. My first exploit.

"Hm.."

"A letter addressed to Noel, Liliath, Prune, Nine and Rin."

In front of the florist, a maid came to deliver this to us in a fancy carriage. And we recognized this maid– it was El. Her Highness Siesta's personal maid, also an assassin–

"You're brother, the ambassador of Toren kingdom has arrived. Would you like it if you could hold a private meeting with him?" she asked Liliath.

Liliath pondered a moment.

"It's not necessary. We'll cross paths during the banquet, I'm sure of it."

"By your will." The maid bowed.

"How's Her Highness? Is she coping well with the changes?"

"There's no need for concern. Her Highness is doing well amassing influence. Recently, she has taken up the task of improving the revenue in a certain duke's territory."

Hm.. improving revenue of a territory.. how the hell does that work? Was Her Highness ever a business person?

"Best wishes then.. could it be that Her Highness is currently not in Erudite?"

"She came back recently when news of His Highness Kyoshi's arrival reached her ears."

"Please send her my regards. Till we meet. And my thank you."

"Yes. Take care."

The maid left.

"We need to pass this to the rest of them huh. We need some clothes now."

"Agreed. Our current ones definitely aren't fit."

"I think we should just use the points. I don't know where we will get the clothes we need in time."

"Nine could borrow Jennifer's," Liliath giggled.

Yeah. She looked super cute in those pink princess clothes.

"I have a better idea.." looking at Rin.

"Huh?"
