Chapter 11: Lunchbreak

Lunchbreak. 

In the middle of the sky, the sun shines so brightly but thanks to the clouds and fresh wind, many students are now eating outside while talking about different subjects or topics.

In the hallway.

One girl student talks about the next subject while the girl in front of her listens to her. However, they were suddenly starstruck when a handsome guy with black hair passed them.

Immediately, they stop him and give their line ID to him. The guy accepts it and adds them to his chat friend.

That guy is Ishigami Yu.

They say goodbye with a blush on their face and he reciprocates it with a smile as he waves his hands. 

They suddenly shout, "Kyaahh!!!" happily as they ran far away from him. They felt that if they stay here for more than a second, they can't control themselves and give him some "treats".

'Those weird senpais'… I know I'm handsome but do they need to shout like that?'

In the end, he instantly moves on to that and just goes to the canteen to buy a sandwich and cola from the vending machine.

Carrying his lunch food, he is in front of the door. However, this is not an ordinary door. Beyond that is the Student Council Room. A place where ordinary students are prohibited to go here unless —with some excuse like teacher's word.

Opening the door, he immediately saw two students, a boy and a girl, the girl has pink hair while the boy is a blonde one, sitting on the couch with serious expressions on their faces.

"Oh! You in time! Sit down, we still need you to answer some of our questions." 

The boy's dark blue eyes emit neon lights like he is in the 'zone'.

"Yeah, we need to hurry before Kaguya-san arrived." 

Same as the boy, the girl's blue eyes emit neon lights like she is in the 'zone'.

Gulping his own saliva, Yu thought that this conversation will be bothersome.

Sitting in front of them, silence is all around the room but Yu breaks it.

They have been staring at him since earlier and that makes him feel uneasy and more hungry.

"So, who are those girls yesterday?"

Fujiwara said as her inner detective showed up. Shirogane didn't say anything but her eyes said that he wanted to know too.

" I don't know too but Shinomiya-senpai might know one of them," 

Yu said with a pure innocent face.

"But they call you " Darling~" yesterday," 

Fujiwara said as she tries to imitate their call on him. Shirogane who still didn't talk nodded as he agrees with what she said.

Fujiwara suddenly blushed as she thought again of her action but immediately composed herself.

"It is the truth. I don't know them." 

"So why do you accept their invitation? Since you don't know them is it better to not accept their invitation?" 

With a sharp tone and eyes that can pierce one's confidence in his face, Shirogane felt something incomprehensible about what happened yesterday. 

"Umu, umu" 

With a good recoil, Fujiwara's hands are crossed under her chest, making it look bigger as she nodded.

Fortunately for Yu, he catches the glimpse and also Shirogane but with secret eye-to-eye contact between the two men, they know that this subject needed to keep as a secret.

Fujiwara felt this sudden atmosphere change but didn't bother by it and continued her lock stare at Yu.

Sighing in tiredness, he decided to answer. Yu look at both of them with firm determination.

"That's the reason why I accept it because I don't know them but they know me. I know that is dangerous to accept some stranger's invitation but I want to know why they know me." 

When he saw Yu's resolve, Shirogane smiled. 

'He truly overcomes his past. As his senpai, I'm proud of him.'

That's what he thought, however unknown to Shirogane, Yu's depression state is only an act.

Anyway, it didn't matter if he knows it or not, after all, Yu still get mentally and socially bullied so even though he might know this, based on his kind character, he will still be proud that he didn't collapse because of the pressure.
