Chapter 14: Bookstore

After finishing their meals, they stay for some moments, chatting and other stuff, before the bell rings and go back to their perspective classroom.

Nothing much happened in his day after that. Listen, read, write, recite, and seat works.

Oh! By the way, he also has some homework so after knowing that they don't have a meeting for today, he immediately walks out of the school to go home.

Walking on the street, he thought to go to the near bookstore to buy some new light novels and mangas to read.

Although he can just order it online, he always personally buys those things because this is his way of respecting the works of his favorite mangakas and authors.

Having one or two complexity is normal to any person, especially to their favorites.

Arriving at a local bookstore, before he roams, he walks straight to the counter to say hello to an acquaintance.

He is a regular customer of this bookstore. One day, after he moves into his own house, he accidentally met his acquaintance's father when he is asking for directions where is a local bookstore. 

As an owner, his acquaintance's father forwardly tells about his bookstore and that's how they met and become an acquaintance.

"It's been a while, Sakura-san. Do the new books arrived?"

A maroon-haired glasses girl is on the counter currently taking out some boxes, startled when she heard a familiar voice behind her.

Her name is Honda Sakura, the daughter of the owner of this bookstore. 

Calming herself by breathing in and out, she immediately looks behind her.

"Oh! Yu-kun, You startled me. I—"

However, before she could continue her words when her eyes see his face, she can't help but be struck by him.

In the past, even though she knows that he is a handsome man, she didn't consider him, someone she can be with.

Unknown to her change of feelings, Yu forgets that he become more handsome lately, however, he continues being familiar with her and has the idea of teasing her by holding her hands.

Sakura, who currently held hands with him didn't reject his idea, instead, she unconsciously hold him tight.

Yu felt weird about it because she isn't the kind of girl who would let any guy touch him.

Waking up from her trance state, she immediately pulls her hands from him.

An awkward atmosphere slowly rose between them, however when she remembered his question earlier, she immediately continue her answer.

"… I…those books… on the left side…"

Hearing her stuttering response, he thought that she is cute.

"Then I'm gonna go there. I hope my teasing didn't nuisance to your work."

"N-no! Don't worry."

After their short exchange, he goes to the left side of the bookstore.

He roams a bit before he picks the series that he followed since their release.

"This… this… and thi—"

Before he finished his picking, he saw a familiar book title.

"Metronome in Love" 

He murmured while thinking about where he heard this.

"Ara~ if you want I can sign that?" 

A voice of a girl suddenly can be heard behind him. 

Realizing what she meant, he immediately look back, however, a shock happened to him, seeing the same girl as one of the girls who kissed him before.
