Chapter 2: Chapter 02: Meeting

I woke up groggy in what looked like a hospital bed.

My body seems to have recovered since I feel much better than before. There was also something else in me that I had never felt before.

It was flowing through my body like a river ... this must be my chakra.

I made the same hand claw and tried to concentrate chakra into my palm as my 'father' did, but it didn't work.

Concentrating on the memories that were left behind for me, I could remember how to use and mold chakra. Due to the fact that these memories were mixed with my own, it was very difficult to remember things from this world.

When I tried it again, a light blue sphere appeared in my palm. I could expand it as wide as my chakra allowed me to.

Because ROOM drains a lot of chakra, I could only expand it a few meters around me. It seems that I'm still not fully recovered yet.

From my memories of Aiko I know that he had at least the Raiton element. But I don't feel it at the moment so I need to use a chakra card later to get confirmation.

Aiko saved me from learning the basics. If I had to learn everything from scratch, it would be like playing a game in "Asian" mode.

I was never an otaku or anything like that. However, I watched a lot of anime and read manga. Therefore, of course I know Naruto and One Piece.

While I finished Naruto, I read One Piece only up to the Wano Arc.

A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts and a doctor stepped in. After he checked me up he told me that I had slept for three whole days and my condition was like that because of chakra deprivation. And that I should be fine after a few days of rest.

Then he gave me a bag containing some clothes provided by Konoha, a gray sweatshirt, black baggy pants and some blue sandals.

After inspecting the clothes, I decided to freshen up. So I took a shower and could finally inspect myself. I had black hair and my hairstyle was the same as Law's without the sideburns. My face was also pretty similar to his.

My body was pretty athletic and defined with visible muscles. If I ever meet my predecessor in the afterlife I need to thank him for taking such fantastic care of this body.

Afterwards, I tried on the clothes and they fit perfectly, but I have to get used to the sandals.

Since I knew that the hokage would want some details, I sorted my memories and prepared myself to meet him.

After a while, Shikaku Nara appeared at the door. On his face were fresh-looking scars.

"Hello my name is Shikaku Nara. My condolences for your loss. I will escort you to the Hokage for you to explain what happened to you and to Uzushiogakure."

"Thank you, my name is Aiko Iyashi. Please show me the way. I would also like to speak with the hokage."

He nodded at my response and then I followed him out of the Konoha hospital.

I wanted to speak to the hokage to get the latest events in this world. While searching in my memories for more information about the events in the world, I could only find out that some war was going on. Minato saved me and he was already an adult, which means I landed sometime during the third war.

Walking out of the hospital, it was a ten-minute walk to the Hokage office. Since it was already dark, not much was going on in the streets but I could tell that Konohagakure is freaking huge by looking in the distance.

Stepping alone into the office I was greeted by five people. Hiruzen Sarutobi in his hokage clothes, Minato Namikaze, the two elders I forgot the name of and of course Danzo Shimura.

It wouldn't surprise me if Danzo had something to do with the destruction of Uzushiogakure.

Hiruzen looked at me with a worried look and said,

"Hello I'm Hiruzen Sarutobi and I'm also the Hokage here. It's a tragedy what happened to the Land of Whirlpools and I hope you'll get over it someday. We heard already from Minato that everything was destroyed. That's why we hope you can help us out with the details."

I told them all the events that took place that I could remember.

That I fell ill and because of that I couldn't remember how my parents could flee Uzushiogakure. And I was able to tell them that events occurred when I got into my new body

After I finished speaking, Minato stepped forward and said,

"It seems that they fled from Uzushiogakure to the Land of Noddles with some survivors, but then they got ambushed once again and nearly all of them were killed except for him and his parents like he told us. The Shinobis who attacked them couldn't be identified yet."

Hiruzen exhaled loudly and said, "That's all for now. Minato will take care of you for the next few days. If you have any questions you can ask him. Afterwards we will meet again and talk about your future here."

Danzo then suddenly stood up and almost screamed. "He can't remember anything what a joke. I would say we get Inoichi Yamanaka here and get our answers this way."

"Danzo! I'm the Hokage. If I say he can leave, then he can," said Hiruzen in a threatening tone.

I could see in Danzo's eyes that he wanted to say something but he kept quiet and left the office.

Hiruzen nodded to Minato and then he brought me out of the office before I could even ask a question.

Minato told me that I would stay at his home for the next few days and his wife is already waiting for us.

It seems like my life in Konoha is about to begin...
