Chapter 3: Chapter 03: Relearn

As we walked through the beautiful village, we soon came to Minato's house. It was a two-story house with a small balcony.

Arriving at the door I stopped him from opening the door.

"Before we meet your wife I wanted to thank you for saving me!" Saying this I bow slightly to my savior.

But he said only with an apologetic voice, "Don't worry about it. I'm more sorry that I couldn't do something to prevent this from happening."

I could see that he was upset about it. This is because not only the Land of Fire lost strong allies, but his wife also lost her family and friends there.

"Don't worry, it is not your fault. You couldn't have known that something like this would happen." I said this with a small smile to cheer him up.

"You're probably right. Let's go inside. Kushina is already waiting for us."

As soon as he opens the door and we step inside, a beautiful woman with red hair rushes towards us and hugs me into her bosom.

"You are saved now, cousin Kushina is here to watch over you." While saying this she tried to suffocate me with her breasts.

Since my 'mother' was an Uzumaki we are cousins in some way.

But didn't she technically lose more than I did... how can she still act so strong?

Although Minato tried to save me, her chest powers were too strong and after a few minutes, I fell into a heavenly coma.

So after waking up the second time today from being unconscious, Kushina was standing in front of me and apologized.

"I'm so sorry that I made you faint, but I'm really happy to take care of you, you know."

She is really the mother of Naruto...

So after Minato and I could fill our bellies with home cooking from Kushina we chatted a bit and then headed to bed.

Kushina told me while we ate that she met my 'parents' when she was a small child and she told me that they were really good people... I already knew that.

The next day Minato told me happily that an emissary from Iwagakure had arrived to negotiate an armistice agreement.

It seems like, I ended up at the end of the third ninja war. This means Minato will become the next Hokage soon and Kushina will get pregnant and afterwards Obito will attack the village.

Since Minato was only the Hokage for about a year, it looked like my life will be in danger again pretty soon.

So I decided that I needed to train my abilities if I wanted to survive in this world. Since I already know how to use them, I only need to retrain them.

So over the next few days, I focused entirely on training my chakra control and expanding my ROOM.

Kushina helped me with this and was always proud of me when I achieved something like walking on water or expanding my room.

She tried to train some Fuinjutsu with me, but we soon discovered that I had no talent for it. This is a bummer but something that I cannot change at the moment.

I also asked Kushina for a chakra paper, and when she gave it to me, I poured my chakra into it, which only made it crinkle. Which means I possess the Raiton element.

Since Kushina had Fuuton and Suiton she couldn't help me with it, so I needed to ask Minato to advise me there.

After asking Minato for help he showed me how to train it by sending some of his Raiton chakra through my body. After I was shocked and stunned for a while, I was able to feel what the Raiton chakra is. The only thing left is to learn how to channel it right and then create some jutsus with it.

Additionally, Minato gave me back my katana so that I could train with it. I thought it had been lost during the battle, but it had been preserved by the village.

Kushina also told me about Minato's team, how he lost nearly all of them except for Kakashi, whom I have not met yet.

So Rin was already deceased in this timeline when I arrived here.

After staying in Minato's and Kushina's house for nearly a week, the agreement with Iwagakure was nearly finished. So the Hokage had finally time for me to talk about my future in this village.

After confirming that I could use all the abilities of my predecessor, I was ready to become a ninja.

But I don't want to be just another ninja. I want to join the medic corps and work part time in the hospital since my 'father' had also trained Aiko to be a medical-nin and how to use medical ninjutsu like the Shosen jutsu. That accelerates the body's natural healing abilities, by using your chakra.

If I can't control it properly, I can harm other people and myself. That's why I will wait until I can join the medic corps to get a teacher who can train me.

Right now I was standing in Minato's backyard waiting for him to pick me up. In the meantime I trained my abilities which I can perform in the ROOM.

I could expand it around twenty meters around me without draining my chakra too much, and it gets wider every day as my control over it increases.

ROOM's greatest advantage is that I can perform jutsus or techniques there without using hand signs.

I could already use Shambles and Takt within the ROOM. Shambles enables me to swap objects in the ROOM around, including myself. Takt is telekinesis, which allows me to move and levitate objects in the sphere. Additionally, I am able to fly in the space of the ROOM.

It seems like hand movements are not necessary to use the abilities and you can use any hand movement to create the ROOM. It always appears in the palm of my hand. I was unable to produce it in any other way for now.

My next step will be to practice Scan and Amputate, which are perfect for medical procedures and combat.

While Scan would tell me anything about my patient or adversary, Amputate would allow me to slash through anything without touching it or having the strength to do so. As it doesn't cut the object, but the space in between, it is really powerful and can be used to cut open patients without doing damage to them.

When Minato came to pick me up it was already evening but since the Hokage has no working hours it was not a problem it seems.

We arrived at the Hokage office after a short walk. And then we met Hiruzen. This time it was only Hiruzen, Minato and me.

Hiruzen looked at me and said. "You seem to be fully recovered and Minato told me also about your training. Does it mean you have decided what you want to do?"

"Yes I want to become a Ninja of Konohagakure, but I also have a request. Since my Kekkei Genkai only really shines if it is combined with medical knowledge, I also want to join the medic corps and learn from them and eventually work in the hospital even if it is part-time, to get experience with all kinds of patients.

Hiruzen nods in agreement and replies.

"Since Minato vouched for you I will grant your request and also give you the rank of a Genin, till you have enough experience as a shinobi to get a promotion. Since you want to become a medical-nin I will order some of the medic corps to be your mentor for the time being."

I bow to him and thank him.

With a smile, Minato walked in front of me and handed me a blue forehead protector.

And so I became a ninja in a really dangerous ninja world.
