"Time to get my masterpiece that I've been longing to see" Kelan mumbled as he descended. He was feeling excited to see his weapon.
He stored his hoverboard inside his space ring and entered the dwarf house. As usual, he was assaulted by the stench of liquor, however, the stench wasn't a bad one like the one he perceived previously.
Entering the living room, Kelan couldn't see the dwarf anywhere, he was sure that the dwarf was around the house as the door to his house was left open. Walking through the small door that the dwarf took him into the other day, Kelan arrived at the dwarf workshop. Instantly he was greeted by the swing of a large hammer, aiming for his face.
Using flash steps, he was able to swiftly evade the attack.
"What are you doing, idiot!?" Kelan screamed as he leaped backward, causing the dwarf to halt his attack.
"Do you want to smash my face?" Kelan said angrily as he stared at the dwarf that was limping on his toes.
"Oh, it's you boy. I've been expecting you! And you should never enter people's houses without knocking" The dwarf replied as he dropped the hammer and went back to sleep on a big sack. Though the sack could be said to be small for humans. However, to the dwarf, it was big enough.
"B-but I knocked. Besides, you didn't lock your door" Kelan mumbled.
"Yes, I didn't lock my door but you didn't knock" The dwarf retorted and he gulped down a mouthful of liquor while lying down on the sack.
"...." Kelan squinted his eyebrows and realized that he didn't knock. "I'm sorry"
"It's okay boy, but there's one problem, I'm about to run out of wine" The dwarf replied and stared at Kelan with puppy eyes.
"Eww... Don't stare at me like that, you are an old man who has lived hundreds of years's not some little kid. Besides, I gave you one gold coin and bought you 10 jars of wine. Have you drunk it all?" Kelan asked with a curious gaze.
"I've drunk it all and bought another 100 jars after that, but they are all finished and I no longer have any money with me. This is the last jar in my hand." The dwarf replied with the dark bags under his eyes.
"What a weird man! I wonder where all the liquor went. For crying out loud, I mean how can this tiny man finish 110 jars in such a short amount of time" Kelan screamed inwardly as he stared at the dwarf in awe.
"Okay, can I see my work?" Kelan asked.
"Will you buy me wine?" The dwarf grunted and drank the last drop from the jar without leaving a single bit.
"Yes, I will buy you some wine if you just show me my Goddamn work, dammit!" Kelan cursed under his breath.
The dwarf eyes lit up and the dark bags on his eyes disappeared as he rolled off from the sack and stood on his feet.
He walked towards a safe that was by the side of the room. While opening the safe, a lot of screeching sounds were made which seemed to annoy Kelan.
"Can't you just lubricate this damned safe? Dammit!" Kelan exploded in anger, as he had never met anyone so annoying as the dwarven man.
The dwarven man ignored Kelan's rambling and intentionally jammed the door of the safe, causing it to make another round of screeching sounds. When the dwarf saw that Kelan's face had turned purple he grinned and stopped making the safe screeching, then he brought out an object that was wrapped in a dirty towel.
"This is ya work, boy," The dwarf announced as he put the object on the table and urged Kelan to unwrap it.
Kelan took a deep breath as he approached the object on the table.
He was curious as to why the object was small, contrary to his expectation.
Unwrapping the object in the towel, he was depressed by what he saw.
He saw a small metal that was plain and similar to a baton.
"So, this is what you could make for me despite all your bluffing. I was expecting something like a katana or sabers but what I'm seeing here is just a piece of metal" Kelan blurted out with a discouraged look on his face.
"Hey boy, before you blab your tongue at me, you need to first imprint your blood with the weapon" The dwarf clicked his tongue.
"Eh..."
"Cut yourself and put a drop of blood on the weapon, it will serve as a signature for your weapon. No one other than you will be able to wield it" the dwarf replied with disgust.
"Well, it doesn't make any difference, who would want to fight with a baton?" Kelan mumbled as he cut himself with a piece of metal he picked on the floor and began to sprinkle his blood on the baton.
The dwarf furrowed his eyes, as he noticed that Kelan's blood was somewhat black like that of a demon. However, when the dwarf focused some energy that most people never knew about, into his eyes, he was able to see that Kelan's blood was fluctuating with two different energies. One was that of unknown energy that the dwarf had never seen while the second one was that of a demon but not an ordinary demon.
"A-Azure Dragon Clan! You are from the Azure Dragon Clan! B-but what is the second energy!" The dwarf shouted in horror and bowed down with his forehead touching the ground.
Kelan furrowed his eyebrows as he didn't immediately understand what the dwarf meant.
[Master, since you absorbed Zuzuna's dragon essence, you are practically part of the Azure Dragon Clan] Gina said and Kelan nodded inwardly.
"Please stand up, don't make me feel weird," Kelan said to the dwarf that was still bowing down on the floor.
"I do not dare, my Lord!" The dwarf replied.
"Seriously, you need to stand up! I'm truly from Azure Dragon Clan. However, I'm not a descendant, the princess is my wife" Kelan sighed at the dwarf that was still hitting his head on the floor.
"T-that means you are going to be the next Lord! I'm sorry for charging you for the weapon" The dwarf blurted out and peed in his small pants.
"Sigh... Who wants to be some Goddam lord or whatever..." Kelan thought.
"Please stand up, I command you," Kelan said. Although he felt pesky when saying it, it was the only way to stop the dwarf from hitting his head on the floor.
The dwarf stood up after Kelan commanded him and stared at him in awe.
"You've seen my secret, you can't tell anyone about it. And please stop acting weird" Kelan said to the dwarf.
"Okay, I will do as you wish and you should trust me, I will never reveal your secret. The dragon clan helped me when I'm helpless" The dwarf replied and put on his former demeanor.
Kelan sighed and glanced at the baton and he was shocked by what he saw. The baton was trembling while glowing green light with some draconic runes and it suddenly began shapeshifting into a long double-edged sword that Kelan had never seen before with some draconic symbols on it.
