Chapter 24: Breathetaking!

"Hey! Was that supposed to be pitching? " It wasn't me but my best friend Kazu shouting at a first-year right now. After school the crowd of first students who came to give the trial almost filled the ground.

 Kazu was in charge to take their preliminary test by hitting the ball and consider whether they were good enough. The one whom he was shouting at now, actually jerked his arm at the end of the pitch, resulting in a whole lot of decrement in overall speed. I would have advised the guy or thrown him out but Kazuya...

 

"I can have a three-course meal before I decide where to hit that piece of snowball coming at me." He destroys in a second.

He is a gentle and kind person until he wears this white uniform and steps on the field with a bat. He thinks that the coach doesn't vent on him but it's more like he is also somewhat scared of him.

He takes baseball on a whole other level seriously. 

'Ah, poor souls'. I sighed seeing another dejected student returning to the pavilion. Almost half of the populace has already vanished because of the sharp tongues selector.

I didnt have much work for now and just have to wait for the students who pass by the first round. 

I glanced at the stands and found my cute little Sayo cheering for me wholeheartedly. I mean I was just standing here, but still, she was shouting 'Gambare' all the time.

I waved at her before my gaze fell on the person right to her.

'Tsubaki san looks scary'. I shiver every time I see her. She is a gentle and calm type of person until it's not about my best friend.

I know about her feeling even before Kazu knew. It's really shameful for me to provide her with Kazu things but I was coerced to do so. However, I dont hate her because she genuinely cares for Kazu.

The only problem was her being a yandere. She has done various things to keep Kazu oblivion about his popularity. I didnt know what would happen when he comes to realize it.

The fact that she had torn countless love letters until now to monopolize him was already a level of possessiveness that a person should get concerned about. However, the dense Kazu always thought it as natural that he wasn't picked by any girl.

'I hope you dont get broken again in the future '. 

"Oi. Kunimi. Get your ass moving will ya?" 

"Y-yeah coming".

" Ne~ne. Kazuya senpai looks so sexy dont you think?" 

"I know. But the fact he doesn't entertain any girl is a mystery itself. I mean with his looks he can become popular among all three years if he tries to". 

" Well I have heard he has started dating Tsu- ah she is looking our way". The three bitches looked away from me as she realised my predatory gaze on them.

'It was a wise decision coming here after all'. I finished the work as soon as possible to come here and watch out for Kazu kun. And I was right.

As expected some hoes were lurking around and devouring my Kazu kun with their eyes. They think I would let them off with that remark they have thrown to my Kazu kun.

"Tsu chan your eyes look scary." Sayo san who was sitting beside me said in a weak tone.

"Oh do they? I wonder." I replied while gawking at Kazu kun. I was a little disheartened to see that he never looked in my way but it only shows how focused he was.

'Kazu kun your serious face looks so hot". I already have taken tons of his pictures but still, I barely could hold my hand to not snap another one.

After half an hour it seemed that everyone was given a break as every player started rushing back to stands or the facility office. Ichihara kun also came which made Sayo san jump in joy as she went toward him. 

However, I didnt have time to focus on anything else as my boyfriend was also coming toward me.

His gentle face was now a little red due to the heat. He was breathing heavily as he took out his cap and brushed off his bangs.

'Kyah! You look so handsome I want to hug you right now Kazu kun. Am I allowed to? But you might get embarrassed. Mou~ I want to be held by you right now.' I was conflicting inside my mind when he arrived near me and gave me a warm smile.

I heard some tongue clicks from the other girls, but I couldn't care less.

"Good work out there ". I said with my best smile.

" Thank you for staying behind. It feels good when someone is waiting for you. Sorry if it sounds a little selfish". He scratched his cheek in embarrassment but I found it utter cute. If he was breathtaking handsome some minutes ago then now he was sweeter than any caramel.

"Not at all. And I also enjoy myself seeing you play. Ah wait I forgot to buy a drink". I was about to turn around and fetch a bottle when he took the sipper from my hand.

" It's okay I will have this".

"But I already have some of it.  Is it okay?" He didnt wait and just started drinking the water as it seemed he was really thirsty.

Another round of tongue clicks spread across which felt like sweet music to my ears. Of course, it was all plotted since the start but I didnt expect him to go with the flow, so naturally.

"Ah. It hits the spot. Um... Tsubaki if you mind if I finish it". 

"It's okay. I will buy another one if I get thirsty so go on. " I said while blushing a little as it was too hard to watch Kazu kun from this close right now.

After Kazu kun asked, he rolled the lid of the sipper and washed his face with that same water while pouring down the content down his face to his neck and disappearing under his shirt. It was too sexy for me to handle but I couldn't just miss the opportunity.

My face was burning hot with shallow steam coming out with my ragged breathing.

"Here. And again thank you for being here. See ya in an hour". He ran back to the ground leaving me dumbfounded after the ecchi show he provided. I turned toward the stands and saw every girl except for Sayo san who was still busily chatting with Ichihara kun, were red as a tomato. 

'I guess I have to do something about this after all. '

After practice, I took a quick shower in the gym and wore my uniform. After I waved off Kunimi, I and Tsubaki started walking back to our house. It was some minutes to 5 so the sky was almost already dark. 

" What do you want for dinner Kazu kun. I will get them delivered before we arrive". She asked as we neared the station.

Our apartment was not far from the station but still, it took 15 minutes to reach there.

"Ah, Tsubaki. Since we are here why not buy the ingredients ourselves from the convenience store near the station?" I offered as I liked to shop for groceries. I usually went with mom to help her before.

"Then it's a date. Let's go".
