It was Thursday today. Two days to the formal greeting event. Even though I bravely said to Tsubaki that I would take permission from her parents, I wasn't much relaxed about that matter. It was natural for me to feel this way, as Tsubaki is my first love after all.

But since I have asked Tsubaki who also informed her parents not so long after, I couldn't back down now. It would be pathetic and utter humiliating for life.

'Sigh'. Sighing I threw the future worries, for the future and slid my feet inside my school shoes. Tsubaki was already waiting for me with a smile blooming on her face. Something which could lighten my mood then it was only her.

We walked while in close contact, toward the school. She had her arm hooked with mine as we chatted and while enjoying the light cold breeze of spring, reached our destination.

Even though it's already been about a month since people came to know about us but those stares always seem to amaze me. Students as well some faculties still like to give looks whenever they see us which I have long got accustomed to.

"Yo!" Sayo san who spotted us inside the class waved energetically. She had the legit rights to being called a loli. However, I would never tell her.

"Morning, Sayo san." I waved back before landing my bag on my desk. Tsubaki also greeted her stiffly, before sitting on the desk beside me. I saw Kunimi's seat was empty however before I could've asked Sayo san about him he suddenly walked inside. His focus was on us already when he entered and for some reason, his face carried a serious kind of expression.

"Hey!"

"Morning". After he landed on his seat, I asked with my brows what happened, but before he could've answered our sensei arrived.

" Stand. Bow. Greet". The class rep called before everyone stood up and greeted the middle-aged woman who was standing on the podium with a smile on her face.

"Good morning class. Today we have a new transfer student, joining for the rest of the year. Please be nice to her ." As she said she turned toward the entrance and called the student with a gesture.

Even before the new student's arrival, a low cheer was echoing around, mostly from the boys' side. However, I kept my face straight as I felt a piercing gaze upon me.

Soon a girl entered the class wearing the same uniform as us. She had platinum hair and an elegant aura surrounding her. Walking graciously she received various gasps and awws along her way. Standing beside sensei she faced us. Her facial features were not Japanese which struck me somehow.

Suddenly I felt kind of evocative as I saw a familiar kind of face matching her peculiar hair color. I felt I have seen her but I had a really bad memory so remembering someone from the past was not my strong zone.

The said girl was standing silently for quite some seconds, strangely staring in our direction. Not sure it was directed toward me or Tsubaki but certainly, she was looking toward us. Finally, she broke the awkward silence before the sensei could urge her.

"Good morning everyone. I am Mari Williams. As you can guess from my accent that I came from a foreign land but since I spent my childhood here, I am very much accustomed to Japanese culture. Anyway, I hope you guys will treat me well." As she said she bowed slightly.

Various students started asking her about her hobbies and stuff even though she was standing beside the sensei, but my focus wasn't on them at all. After she told me her name, my memories flared back and I realized who she was.

'Marin...?'

[3P POV:]

The class was soon silenced by the older woman as the new student made her way to her assigned seat. Coincidentally her seat was just ahead of Kazuya. A boy was sitting there until yesterday but now his seat was shifted to another section, as what their sensei said.

Except when she was on the podium she never glanced at Kazuya or anyone else. Just sat there silent and smiling. Kazuya also shrugged his thoughts off as he felt the other party might not remember him. He glanced at Tsubaki and got froze.

Her gaze was fixed on the silver-haired girl intently. Her fist was gripping a pencil whose tip was cruelly smashed and now the wooden portion was being gnashed over the desk. Kazuya frowned at the sight and was not sure what made her so much agitated.

Even though class started and Tsubaki got back to her normal state, Kazuya was still unsettled. It was strange that even with his quite obvious stare Tsubaki never glanced at him and kept her eyes straight.

He didn't like her being like this even a bit. Without thinking he tore a piece of paper before writing something down and throwing it toward his right.

Tsubaki who was in full blow distraction mode suddenly felt something on her arm before she glanced down. She grabbed the piece of paper, with her mood becoming slightly lighter than before.

[Why are you avoiding me?]

She felt it cute how he whined through his message before she finally looked toward Kazuya with an awkward smile on her face. After putting the chit inside her bag secret section, she wrote something on another piece of paper before throwing it toward Kazuya.

[Did you feel like it. I am sorry:( ]

Kazuya also broke into a smile when he saw her message. He thought for a second before throwing another chit.

[ Dont make that face Kayo. You do not know how I feel when I see you like this. So please tell me if there is something]

Tsubaki shot up her head toward Kazuya after she read the message. She felt her previous worry fading as she smiled genuinely this time. The smile which Kazuya best knows her for. The smile which he loves the most.

Soon the lunch break arrived as everyone started scattering around or...no.

Unlike usual, they didn't go on their way but surrounded the new student. It was natural to happen that's why I already got out and left my seat so I doesn't get scrambled up in the chaos.

"Let's go ". I picked Tsuabaki's bento and mine in one hand and took her hand in my other one. She was startled for sure since I never held hands in class, but at the moment I didn't care about others watching us and led Tsubaki toward the rooftop.

Surprisingly, it was empty. Since Kunimi said he was going to cafèteria to eat lunch, we were the only two owning the whole rooftop for us.

A sudden gust made Tsubaki's hair dance freely as she held my hand in a rigid grip.

" Today sure is windy." Taking out my coat I draped it over Tsubaki who was wordlessly surprised as well flushed.

"Kazu kun? You will also feel cold like this." I didn't say anything and took her toward the railing before taking her seat beside me.

"If we stick like this then I will also feel warm". After gliding my hand over her shoulder I pulled her close to me and hugged her for quite some time. The small face of Tsubaki which seemed extra small under the oversized coat was so darn cute that I felt my sugar level rising at an alarming rate.

Without any more words, we started feasting our lunches. Today she prepared cabbage rolls which were still a little warm because of the expensive bento we use.

The cabbage rolls were so crunchy and best to taste, that my sudden urge to kiss the chef's hand rose. But knowing how much my chef gets flustered I held back. Well, it was an inviting offer to see her adorable face but sometimes I go overboard.

I ended up eating every roll within five minutes without break. I sighed while rubbing my stomach in satisfaction before I placed it off my lap.

I glanced at Tsubaki and found her still poking lightly on her roll and the rest of them untouched. My facial expression shifted to a soft one before I placed my hand on top of her head.

" What you are thinking uselessly?" She jerked in surprise before shooking her head vigorously.

I picked her lunch and placed it beside mine before turning her body toward my side. She still was stealing her gazes while pretending to be calm but failing miserably.

"Hey! Look here." I pinched her chin and positioned her head accordingly. She finally looked toward me. Her beautiful eyes were full of emotions that I wasn't liking.

"What happened? Why are you acting strange? If you trust me then talk to me. Share what's on your mind. Whether it is small or big, I want to hear it Tsubaki." I said to her firmly trying to breach the wall she had created to hide her emotions. And luckily I succeeded.

She looked in my eyes for quite some time before she finally started to speak.

"Did you feel something after you saw the new student?" I had an idea about her disturbed mood so I wasn't surprised at all by the question.

"Yeah. Kind of nostalgia. Marin was my classmate in junior high. We used to play together. She was close to Kunimi too but surprisingly he didn't seem to remember her. Well, I can say that for Marin too so except for memories nothing else." I confessed honestly as hiding us being childhood friends would be nonsense.

"Nothing else huh...well I hope it is just as you say Kazu kun." She bit her lip as she muttered. I hugged her closely in my arms making her nestle completely in me to the point I felt her body heat directly on me.

While hugging her various things came to my mind about the past and stuff that I wanted to share with Tsubaki but I felt today wasn't the right day.

"Don't worry Tsubaki."

___________...___________

After school, I went to baseball practice and Tsubaki for the cheerleading club. The practice was sure tiring but my spirit never burned out. I always felt myself raging in heat when I was on the field. Everyone else was also fired up which made the whole session more enjoyable. The straight two-hour session ended at 4 in the evening.

Tsubaki also made her way toward the ground before we went back toward the classroom to pick up our bags. The school was mostly silent as every student except for two clubs already left school.

Never did I imagine that someone who wasnt from any club could be around at this hour. When I slid the classroom door and entered inside, a foreign object landed on me. I instinctively grabbed onto the person and also held Tsubaki's hand so she doesn't get hurt.

When I finally realized who it was, it made me genuinely startled. The same peculiar silver hairs which fascinated me the most in the past were all over me with a small figure gently rubbing her face on my chest.

Before I could separate her she muttered something which froze my hand stiff at its place.

"Aww. Kazu's smell finally. I really really really missed you."

'This isn't going to end well.

A/N: Chaos. What would Tsubaki do? I am a little scared of myself about what I would write.

Anyway, we all knew drama would be rushing toward the couple so don't complain. And rest assured  I won't drag it for long....well this won't be so short either..so hang with it.

And drop a comment if you want a cute yandere waifu for yourself.~
