Title: My Son Might be a Villain
“What about the man outside? Do you like him?” Su Han gave Su Ran a very piercing look. There was also a shred of nervousness in his eyes.
Him? Lu Shao?
“Of course not.”
Up until now, she had only met that Mr. Lu a few times. They were just a tad better than strangers to each other. They at least know of each other’s names. Beyond that, they were barely friends, how would she have feelings for him?
Hearing that, Su Han let out a sigh of relief.
A fierce look flashed through his childish eyes.
“Well, if you don’t like him and I dislike him, why do we need to pay him any attention?” asked Su Han.
Even if the man outside of the door wasn’t the scum from the past, he still disliked him very much.
Su Ran: Hoho, good point, son. I have no retort.
Deep down inside, she couldn’t agree with him more.
“Why do you dislike him so?” Su Ran was baffled.
“No reason. I just dislike him,” said Su Han with a look of resentment.
He didn’t need a reason to dislike the man. He just disliked everything about him -- the way he looked, the way he talked, and his attitude too.
“……”
That had been baffling Su Ran since the very beginning.
She has a pretty good understanding of her son. He might be a little bit stuck up at times but he was a very mature child overall.
As for Lu Shao, had she not felt that he was one with patience and tolerance, she would not have agreed for the two of them to meet.
A mature and docile son and a steadfast and kind father – what an excellent combination?
As such, why was it that putting the two of them together was like trying to mix water and oil? Not even a hint of a loving father or a familial son could be seen.

“Em…, one way or another, he’s still your birth father. We can’t change that.” Su Ran tried to put it in the mildest way that she could muster.
“Besides, I think he sought you out for the simple reason that he wants to contribute the responsibilities of a father.
“I think Mr. Lu is an okay guy and not someone unreasonable…”
Su Ran was the one doing all of the talking inside of the room.
Even though Su Han maintained his resentful look the entire time, Su Ran was still able to tell that his attitude has softened a little.
When the door to the private room was reopened, Su Ran was able to spot Lu Shao right away. He had obviously been waiting there the entire time.
“I apologize, Mr. Lu. I wasn’t clear about matters earlier and my son had misunderstood you,” said Su Ran to Lu Shao.
Lu Shao was a little bit surprised when he heard that.
“It is not your fault.” Having said that, Lu Shao glance over at Su Han who was standing behind Su Ran.
He saw the kid standing there with his hands inside of pockets of his uniform pants, still with the long face and the I-am-not-happy look.
By now, Su Han was no longer staring at Lu Shao angrily like a hedgehog in defense mode. Nevertheless, he had his head turn as though he didn’t want to look at Lu Shao at all.
“Perhaps, we should call it a day?” asked Su Ran.
“Alright,” said Lu Shao. Then, after a slight pause, he said, “Why don’t you stay for dinner?”
Dinner?
Having heard that, Su Ran turned around and noticed that the dishes for dinner had already been served.
Probably because she and Su Han had chatted for quite a while inside the room earlier so all of the dishes were placed on a table outside of the room.
Su Ran: Emmmm….
Su Han, naturally, had also heard what Lu Shao said.
He was going to turn him down; it wasn’t like they couldn’t eat at their own house.
Then he noticed Su Ran’s eyes beaming as she looked at the dishes next to them.
