Chapter 203 - Su Han gave Lu Shao a stare, pursed his lips, and was deep in thought. (2)

Even the salesgirl walking in front couldn't help but smiled.

This pair of mother and son were so close with each other. So having a son was such a fun thing?

Oh, what should she do? She wanted to marry her boyfriend now!

“Here, you two can come inside now. This is the water supply. This is electricity. Here… Take a look and let me know if you notice anything that needs to be fixed. Just tell me and I will jot it down and have someone come and fix them as soon as possible.”

“Mmm. Alright.” Su Ran nodded.

That being said, Su Ran really had no idea what she was looking for in a semi-finished apartment.

She had read a lot online previously. Something about adding cement to the door frame; too much air bubbles behind the paint; tilting of the wall, or water pressure etc.

When she was there in person, the only things that she could recall a few simple points such as whether windows could be opened and shut properly and whether the water flowed properly.

“Em…” Su Han suddenly pointed at a corner.

Su Ran looked over at the direction that Su Han was pointing at.

“Oh, the pipe below the patio was partially blocked by cement. I will have the workers come over and fix this as soon as possible.”

“And here also.”

“This water here was from the rain a couple of days ago when the windows were left open. We will have the workers fix these as well while they are here.”

“Hmm” Su Ran nodded and felt that this salesgirl was quite attentive. She didn’t give it much thought but moved on to look at other areas.

Su Han, on the other hand, gave the salesgirl another look and there was a sense of oddness in his eyes.

Su Ran found a few other minor issues afterward.

And the salesgirl replied and took notes in details.

What Su Ran didn’t know was that there was already a list of items that needed attention in the walkthrough form that the salesgirl was carrying. Some of them Su Ran and Su Han had mentioned; others they didn’t.

“Please don’t worry about any of the issues that you have identified. We will have workers come and fix them within the next two weeks.” After the walkthrough was over, the salesgirl handed a remodeling key to Su Ran.

“And, Ms. Su plans to start remodeling recently, right?”

“Uh, yes.”

“Alright. Our property management office was on the second floor above the sales office. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

“You can spend some more time here if you like. I am going to take off and let you be.”

“Alright. Thank you.”

“See, Son. This is going to be our home from now on!” said Su Ran to Su Han emotionally and with a big smile on her face after the salesgirl had left and closed the door behind her.

“Isn’t this place awesome?”

“Mmhmm.”

Even Su Han stopped with his cool look when there were others around and couldn't help but put on a smile and he looked all over the place.

“Yes, this place is quite nice,” said Su Han in a low voice after he looked around a few times.

“I think so too!”

“This, will be our living room. We can put a sectional couch here. The coffee table will face that direction. And, here, we can put a dinner table measuring up to 1.4 meter. And then here…” Su Ran planned excitedly.

She had been planning this in her head for a long time, as early as when she had first saw the floor plan.

“This here. These two rooms will be bedrooms.

“You take the one on the right and I will take the one on the left,” said Su Han.

“Uh huh. Exactly what I thought, Son. It’s like we can read each other’s mind!

“Oh. Over here. This is the kitchen. I had it all figured out. We will knock this wall down and expand the kitchen. That way we can have a huge pantry and countertop.”

“You can’t even cook. What do you want such a high-end kitchen for?”

“Can’t I start learning now?”
