Chapter 260 - Mr. Lu wasn't here to surveil the operations of the company; he was here to teach his son hands on. (4)

“You… good luck in your competition.” Su Han looked up at Su Ran and said to her seriously before she could say anything else.

“Mmm, I will.” Su Ran nodded, then said, “I can’t take you with today. You should stay in your hotel room and read some or do some of your homework.”

“Or go hang out with your dad. You can ask him to take you to places if you have somewhere specific in mind if he has some free time. But don’t bother him if he’s busy. Be a good boy and stay in and do your homework assignments, okay?” added Su Ran after some considerations.

Even though, after her observation from the last two days, Lu Shao seemed to have quite a bit of free time. Nevertheless, he did mention that he came to City N for business reasons. Su Ran wouldn’t want Su Han to bother Lu Shao too much.

“Is your dad inside the hotel room right now? I can ping him on WeChat right now.”

Su Han objected vehemently as soon as Su Ran had said that.

“That won’t be necessary!” Su Han paused a little, lowered his eyes, then said, “He seemed to have mentioned that he will be busy today. I’ll just stay in the hotel room and work on my homework assignments.”

Although, truth of the matters was, Lu Shao was not here for work at all and had nothing that he needed to take care of.

That being said, between the options to spend the day alone and spend the day with Lu Shao, Su Han decisively picked the first option.

“Alright then.” Su Ran nodded and added, “You can grab lunch downstairs with your room card or have them deliver to your room. Call me if you need anything else. If I don’t pick up, then call your father… I will be back as soon as my competition is over.”

Even though Su Ran knew that her son was very independent and there was nothing to worry about, she was still nervous.

“Okay.” Su Han nodded. Then, turning to look at Su Ran, he said, “You be carefully too after your game is over. Be sure to check the license plate before you jump into a car back.”

Although, Su Han’s plan was to go and pick the woman up when time got close.

He had been there once already and he should be able to figure out how to get there again after he looked at a map in a little bit.

Besides, with the “capital” that he had Liu Yangyang and the others had sent over, he had a little safe with him.

“I can’t believe your husband brought your son over here as soon as his vacation had started. I thought he won’t be here until semi-final,” said Li Yan with a smile as soon as the two got inside of the car.

She had only found out from Su Ran yesterday that her child and her child’s dad had come over.

She had heard from Lao Xu in the past that her son was particularly handsome and she had been very curious since. She was stunned when she saw the handsome boy standing outside of the room when she walked out this morning.

Su Ran, next to her, was taken aback a little when she heard Li Yan’s words. She was just about to explained that the child’s father was not her husband when Li Yan already continued down the subject.

“Say, does Xiao Han look more like his father or you?”

“Emm, his father, I guess…”

“Haha, then I think I have an idea what your husband looks like now.”

Su Ran: That’s the child’s father!

After Su Ran and Li Yan had taken off, Su Han got a little bit bored after playing for a little while on his cellphone.

He had completed all of his homework assignments from before the vacation and, as for the ones during the vacation, he was still waiting for the fool Liu Yangyang to send them over.

Recalling that he still had 1/3 of the book from yesterday to go, Su Han hesitated for a little while and finally reluctantly walked over to the room next door.

When Su Han returned to the room, Lu Shao had already changed into a suit that was more ostentatious than his regularly style. It really looked like he had somewhere to be.

“Well? You failed, huh?” Lu Shao, who was reading some documents from the couch, looked up and said to Su Han nonchalantly when he saw him returning to the room.

His tone, however, sounded very sarcastic.
