I must make sure they don't find out about this place.
I am with the slaves now. No, I am no longer a slave. I am no longer a slave because the collar of servitude has been removed with me as master. As royalty, they can make me their master. So I quickly freed myself from my position as a slave.
I was finally recognized by the rebels as one of their own. No matter how much the beastmen I was working with might have interfered, I am the royalty of the Migga Kingdom. It is the king of this kingdom who is choosing to reduce them to slavery. I am his son, and I am the one who was acting to enslave them.
Also, I didn't know until I joined here that this rebel army is not only made up of beastmen but also humans. There are more than a few humans who do not have bad feelings toward the beastmen. There are also a small number of people who used them as labor, not knowing how they were reduced to slavery. ......Basically, there is a tendency in this country to look down on non-human species, and this is so prevalent as a matter of course that we need to change from this kind of thinking.
They had the option of escaping out of this, since they had freed themselves from their position as slaves. I suggested that, too. But when I said that if possible, I wanted to change the mindset of this country itself, they agreed with my words, even though they were suffering as slaves.
If we were to run away, if the Migga Kingdom were to acquire the kind of power that would allow it to occupy even more distant areas, they would simply reduce the different races to slaves again, even in the places where they had fled. We must move to eliminate that.
However, I was also given the opinion that it is not realistic to suddenly aim for the abolition of slavery. I reflected on this, realizing that I was only 14 years old and could not see the future. It is difficult to abolish a system that originally existed. So, as a realistic goal, my goal is to gradually eliminate slavery, but I'm willing to accept that falling into slavery due to debt and other issues is not an option. And to ensure that those who are not at fault for anything do not become slaves. And even if they do fall into slavery, is it to provide a minimal environment?
Different races are forcibly attacked in their villages and dropped into slavery, but many people who live as normal residents of the country fall into slavery because of debts or other reasons. However,...... some human beings are also forcibly dropped into slavery,...... but that is probably a problem with the system of this country.
The Migga kingdom itself is a big country, so the father himself may not be able to handle that much, or he may not care about the people in the city - I'm too low in rank as a prince to ask such a question to my father, but I think about it that way.
If I can ...... be in a position to do something about it, I would like to look down and act properly. --I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do anything about it, but I'd like to be able to do something about it.
It can be done while worrying. I agree, but depending on how we act, it could be irreversible. --I also want to solve the problem as peacefully as possible. At least I do.
However, from the standpoint of those who have been attacked in their villages, forced into this position of slavery, and separated from their families, there are those who do not want such a peaceful resolution. The rebels, as this group is called, are by no means united.
There are many who approve of me, but there are also a few who are rebellious against me.
I sometimes wonder what a difficult position I have gotten myself into, but this is the result of my own willful thinking and action. I have no regrets.
Some are more radical and want to kill all those who get in their way and take over the country, but we are united in trying to make this as peaceful as possible. I am relieved about that. There are also opinions on how to pass our demands without killing as many people as possible, while still taking hostages. It would have been better if I myself were royalty more suitable for the position of hostage, but my father will just cut me off if he takes me as a hostage because I am the seventh prince, a position that could have been cut off.
In fact, I have a feeling that he would just annihilate me while saying he would accept the hostage negotiation. Father is not that naive.
For example, even if he were to negotiate with a hostage who holds an important position for the country, I am not sure that it would go well. No matter how important the position is, there is a possibility that he will cut it off.
I don't know if it can be called peaceful, but I think the most effective way would be to take the head of the king alone and make myself king, but I don't currently have the strength to take the king's head. Even if I could get rid of my father, my brothers would still be there.
Therefore, the discussion was stalled.
It is a commonly accepted opinion that if we really think it is impossible to change the country's mindset, we should go outside the country and try to adjust the system. If we lose our lives and that changes anything, but we will just be dead.
Those obsessed with hatred may willingly choose that path, but the rest of us know better.
I have talked with the rebel leaders about gradually freeing those who were forced into slavery and sending those who did not choose to stay and fight back to their godchildren.
However, there are many different kinds of people among them, so I am not sure if the future will move well with the option of sending them back to the Godchild.
But we have no choice but to move.
That's why I am here as a member of the rebel army.
