Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Being Thrown into the Wild Practical Magic Class Part 1

“Please welcome the representative of the Adventurers Academy First-years the young Witch of Legend Emily Clark!” (Headmistress Susan) 

“Thank you, Headmistress. It is an honor and a privilege to stand before you all today as the representative for the new students joining the wonderful and illustrious academy. I believe I speak for all my fellow classmates when I say it honor learn not just from the professors and faculty but from the students that came before us as well. Here is to a great and magic filled year.” (Emily) 

“That was well said, I’m impressed.” (Headmistress Susan) 

“She was amazing.” (Upper Classman A) 

“Such a brave speaker.” (Male First-Year) 

“She’s so beautiful” (?????) 

“I want to see her magic.” (Upper Classman B) 

“Quiet!” (Headmistress Susan) 

“--------” (Everyone) 

“Now, with the opening ceremony out of the way it time to throw all you first years out in to the wild for a month of pratical magic and survival training. We will have a few professors in the areas you will be sent to however they will not interfere unless an emergency life threating situation occurs.” 

“Aww, are you serious?” (Random First year) 

“I am quite serious; you are all training to be adventuring witches and wizards you will need to gain immediate experience in order to do so. So, no one will claim someone else that partied with, young Emily had an unfair advantage she will be paired with the other top 2 students of the first years, her assistant May Bledsoe, and the 3rd ranked student of the class Sasha Long. I will be sending the to a harder area then the rest of the class, with Professor Clark as their guide for protection due to the given circumstances, however Professor Clark will not be the one to do the grading, for interest of fairness. Do you understand, young Emily, May, Sasha?” 

After listening to what the Headmistress told us we nodded to one another and answered... 

“We understand, Headmistress.” (Emily, May, Sasha) 

“Very good, all the supplies that you all will need has already been gathered this time around so, listen for the Professors to call your names and head to them. Dismissed.” (Headmistress Susan) 

“May, Lady Sasha, I’m sorry you got dragged into going into a harder area because of me.” (Emily) 

“Please don’t be, you know I would happily go anywhere with Dea....ah...Lady Emily...ehehe. (May) 

“Hmmm....I wonder what I just caught a sound of huh, hahaha, no worries please Lady Emily, and please don’t call me Lady Sasha, just call me Sasha.” (Sasha) 

“Hehehe, very well Sasha, then please call me Emily.” (Emily) 

Oh it seems Sasha started blushing and mumbling to herself for some reason and May is starting to get a happy look in her eyes, while my mother is getting a scary look in hers, wait where did she come from... 

“...ehehehe the beautiful Lady Emily, said I could call her by name, ehehe... Ahem, very well, I shall do so thank you, Emm...Emily. May, if you so wish please call Emily what you are used to calling her if you want, I won’t tell anyone.” (Sasha) 

“I’m not sure...” (May) 

As May is contemplating, I can see my mother slowly sneaking up on us even more with an over doting look on her eyes at May and a slightly evil look at Sasha for some reason, I better nip this in the but... 

“I really wish you would, it would make me so happy.” (Emily) 

“Ah...that’s not playing fair but very well, Dear.” (May) 

Yay, it worked maybe I should actually thank mother for this. 

“You don’t know how happy you just made me Darling”, (Emily) 

As I run up and I hug May to her surprise and Sasha’s blush, I feel a chop on the head and a cough and statement of... 

“Ahem! Are you girls ready for your first assignment and class girls!” (Professor Clark) 

“Yes Ma’am” (All three girls) 

“Emily, here is the longitude and the latitude of our destination, can you teleport us there?” (Professor Clark)

“Wait, Professor Clark, are you saying Emily can use mass teleportation?” (Sasha) 

“Well, to be honest I don’t fully understand it myself, it's more of space magic connecting to places, and I wouldn’t call it mass teleportation. Emily, how many can you teleport people at the moment?” 

“I can create a space that’s fits and teleports up to five people, I can use all forms of magic and space magic comes from the dark affinity like how time magic comes from the divine affinity. So, I can combine the two and it will feel as though as no time has passed when we arrive, as such...” (Emily) 

“Oh, space that which we dwell in, oh time that which we pass in, come together so that we can reach our destination that much quicker, Teleportation.” (Emily) 

“Where...where are we? We are by a beautiful forest and greenery? (Sasha) 

“Dear, are you okay?) 

“Ha, huh, huh, I didn’t expect it to take that much mana... May, I need you to give me some of yours.” (Emily) 

“Professor Clark, Emily needs mana, can you take Sasha somewhere else for a moment?” (May) 

“...Yes..Yes, very well, I shouldn’t have asked, I shouldn’t have... Sasha please come with me for a moment.” (Professor Clark) 

“Is Emily going to be, okay?” (Sasha)  

“Yes, she will be fine, this has happened before and it is not as bad this time, just come with me.” (Professor Clark) 

“Okay, they are gone, take a slow breath first, Dear.” (May) 

I do as May tells me to, and then rise up and grab her hand and pull her close to me and say... 

“Thank you, I love you, I will be taking some of you mana now...” (Emily) 

“You can have all the mana you need as long as we can stay together forever, Dear.” (May) 

After we say our Iove filled words, I bite May’s neck and she bites mine, I bite hers to suck some of her mana, and she bits mine to take some of my life essence. It is a mutual contract to keep us together forever. Once the act is over, I give May a deep and sensual kiss and she gives me one back, soon my mother and Sasha return. 

“Are you okay now, sweetheart? (Mother Klare) 

“I’m okay, I promise, my Dear Mother. You're not in Professor mode right now you know. Hahaha. 

“I was too worried, I know I asked you to this time, but please don’t use the teleportation magic again until your mana pool becomes larger okay, Please, promise me.” (Mother Klare) 

“I promise” (Emily) 

“Are you ok, May? wink~ (Mother Klare) 

“Ehehe, I’m perfectly fine, Mother Klare.” (May) 

“Whew, I’m glad you are okay Emily, and I guess you too May, though I’m confused, and would like to know more. For now, where are we? 

“Welcome to the Ancient Forest. Otherwise known as the Lion’s den for the top ranking first years this place is where you three will be doing your practical magic and survival training you will be expected to hunt as team, cook as a team, clean as, and survive as a team. I will be here to teach you different spells to use but that is it. I will using a magic recording device so you all will be graded later on, by the end of the month you all will be expected to have exterminated at least a hundred beasts as a team and increased your mana pools by 10x. I know it is a high bar but it can be done in this environment. Good luck you three. Dismissed...” (Professor Clark)
