There are two kinds of invitation in my dictionary.
First, which seems tempting, but I refuse since I have developed social anxiety these days.
And second, the shady kind of invitation in which an innocent girl gets to karaoke. Well, I reject these kinds of invitations as well—the reason's obvious.
And right now, from just the look of these two guys who in the morning acted so indifferently toward anyone, I could sense something was fishy.
What made them come here of all people and why they decided to create a lie just to get me alone was still I was pondering upon, but first, I had to respond.
"Umm...Actually, I just remembered that I had to meet someone, so..."
I was about to get up when one of the two, who had a short commando haircut, grabbed my shoulder and pushed me down back on my seat.
Well, the force he applied was far from average since I knew even if I tried, I could barely have held my position by not dropping back.
"What's the rush?"
A grin formed across the short-haired-, well, I would call him bull. Yeah, a grin formed on the bull's face as I saw the other one, who had spiky hair, walking toward the gate.
Unfortunately or not, everyone had already left the class as they had just disappeared, including my neighbor too.
The spiky-haired pressed some numbers on the keypad of the door before a red light illuminated over it, basically notifying me that I was caged in.
While all this was happening, I pressed the orange button on the emergency line since I didn't have a good vibe from all of this.
"We were planning to get you out and explain it calmly, but you called for it."
As the spiky said, I felt my collar being pulled up abruptly, which was undoubtedly because of the bull's brute strength, as he pulled me out of my desk.
"Get up, you bastard. Now you will pay the price of being so cocky!!"
The bull threw his left punch toward the center of my face while shouting something I didn't quite understand.
I knew blocking his punch might hurt me too, so I just applied minimal force on my palm and changed the trajectory of the incoming fist.
"Ah!"
The bull, in a panic about missing his target, lost the grip on my brand new blazer; before I grabbed his raised hand and pulling him over the shoulder, I kicked his feet with my heel to create a smooth momentum.
**DHAKK**
As expected of a bulky bull, the sound of his fall resonated in the empty classroom.
"Argh!"
Hearing the groan, I sensed something approaching me again, before I tilted my body and grabbed the arm which the spiky pushed to punch me...again on the face...
Loosening my grip from the bull, I clenched my fist tightly before blowing it over the spiky's torso.
"GUOOOH"
Kneeling on the ground, he also groaned in pain.
To be honest, they were weaker than I thought, or maybe fighting a demon like Minami-san had made me super strong or something.
"Well, I should get going."
Saying so, I grabbed my bag and crossing over the two, I steadily walked toward the door while thinking how should I explain this to that bespectacled onee-san.
But just when I was about to unlock the door...
**TANNNG**
Something hard hit the back of my head with decent strength, that my vision became blurry in an instant.
I never anticipated someone approaching that's why this blow came quite abruptly.
Bringing my hand over the place where I was hit, I felt hot liquid pouring out, which undoubtedly was my blood.
Turning slowly toward my back while keeping my unsteady legs still standing, what I was able to discern was the color blonde over the person's head who had just hit me.
"Y-You...
"AKIRA IS MINE!! YOU HEAR THAT!!!"

**DHANG**
With the same thing, I got hit again just below my chin, with my legs finally giving out as I hit the door and lost consciousness.
'I feel pathet...'

I wasn't sure where I was taken or what happened to me after I fainted in the class, but the next time I parted my lids, I was met by a face I could never get enough of.
My consciousness was still hazy, with my body numb for some reason.
The only thing working was eyes which showed me a lovely face with peculiar amber orbs staring at me with worries filled in them.
It undoubtedly belonged to Akira, whom I was assigned to watch over, yet I got beaten up like a rag on my first day.
With my eyes half closed, I lazily gawked at her beautiful face, which strangely was just inches apart from me, like she was lying beside me with her head on my chest.
"Even in my dream, you look beautiful..."
The image of Akira, which my subconscious mind had formed, widened her eyes as a blush made way on her fluffy cheeks.
Seeing such a gesture that I couldn't even imagine from the real Akira, I became even more confident that this all was a beautiful fantasy that had been born from my desire to see my old Akira again.
Soon I felt my vision darkening before I let go of my consciousness.

The next time I got back to myself, this time, I found my vision a lot clearer than the last time.
From the ceiling and the background, I concluded that I was in my room, and naturally, Akira wasn't by my side.
'Well, it would have, too good to be true scenario...'
I smiled wryly when I heard a profound voice from my right, almost giving me a minor heart attack.
"You shouldn't move much in my suggestion."
"Mi-Minami-san.."
Looked at me with a stern gaze was the head maid of the mansion and my teacher, Minami-san, who didn't have much of a great expression on her face.
"Rest here. I will bring you some tea."
Without minding my astonishment at all, she stood and walked toward the table which had the teapot placed already.
Silence befell the room as the sound of tea pouring down the cup echoed profoundly.
"Minami-san. Did...Akira came to see me?"
I know I shouldn't be asking this just after waking up, but I couldn't get my mind off that image I saw. It was just too distracting for me to resist asking.
Upon hearing me, it seemed Minami-san's movement halted for a moment as she asked in a little ...just a little softer tone.
"And why do you think that the young lady would come to see the Butler, who couldn't even save himself from just some high schoolers?"
Her words, despite being honest, hit hard in the heart, but again there wasn't anything to retort, so with my head leaned forward, I muttered under my breath.
"...sorry."
"Here. Rest well and when you think you are able to walk, just go and meet the young lady."
An insuppressible smile formed across my face as, for some reason, meeting Akira made me elated down the core.
I took the cup from Minami-san with a 'Thanks' as she turned toward the door and left the room, after speaking her parting words.
"Just wear some clothes before you go."
"Ah!".
