Chapter 20: Chapter 20 – Information

This Jain shopping mall has five floors. On the top floor, we can meet the CEO.

"Ok, so, before going there, I would like to see the report paper," I told him.

" Ok, no problem. Do you have the unique number that every Genex company's clothes have in their logo? If you have that number, it will help you find it." He asked me.

" Yes, I have the number," I replied to him. I gave him the unique number that I found in that logo.

" H468" 

He searched on his computer. I and Kenny only wait for the result with no sound. A few minutes later, I saw he stopped searching and started to smile.

"Detective Arthur, I finally found out about this cloth. I am printing out the details so that your investigation will be easier." He said with a smile.

I just nodded at him with a smile. It is really good that he is printing out the details.

"But one thing I found weird." He exclaimed.

" " I asked. He didn't instantly take anything from me. 

It only takes a few seconds to print out the paper. He gave the report paper to me. I and Kenny both look at the paper, 

"Hmm…… is This Fin?" Suddenly Kenny asked. 

"I also didn't know. But looking at the details, I am sure that it is Fin," manager Dan said. 

" Umm… .. who is this Fin you are talking about?" I asked them.

" My coworker. Do you remember I previously told you that I and my coworker who worked in the account section? Fin Gnus is the person who worked with me in the account section." Kenny explained to me. 

" Okay," I nodded and continued to read the report. 

" Brand: Genex

Product type: Hodie

Customer name: Fin Gnus

Date: 24/11/ 2022

Mobile number: xxxxxxxxx9. "

" Thanks for the information." I thanked Dan for the information.

" So, Let's go, Miss Kenny. We needed to talk with this Fin," I told Kenny and was about to get up from the seat.

"Umm…. Mr. Arthur, I don't think today Fin came." Suddenly, manager Dan said. 

" Why is that Mr. Dan?" I once again sat down and asked him. 

"Yesterday, at 9:00 p.m. when everyone was going back home, Fin suddenly came to me and asked for 2 days' leave. I asked him the reason. He said that his mother's condition was terrible. Because of this, he wants 2 days' leave," Manager Dan explained to me. 

" Ummm… so, his mother's condition was serious," I murmured and began to think about this matter. Because I am feeling that something is weird here. Suddenly Kenny got attacked by someone, then the next day her coworker suddenly asked their boss for 2 days' leave, and most importantly, I found a Genex hoodie's logo that belonged to him on the spot where Kenny got attacked. 

Definitely, this Fin person is connected to this case. I needed to find this Fin person.

3rd person POV: 

While Arthur was busy thinking, Kenny and Dan didn't disturb him. They both know that they should not disturb him.

A minute later, Arthur suddenly look at Dan and said,

"Mr. Dan, can you give the address of this Fin Gnus? I needed to ask him something." He said to Dan.

" Sure," Dan, with no delay, quickly told Arthur the address of the Fin Gnus.

" Thank you, manager Dan. Thank you very much. You really help me a lot," Arthur said to Dan.

" Haha… don’t worry, detective Arthur. If I can help your investigation, I will feel better," Dan said with a smile.

" Haha… yes. Once again, thank you. Now Miss Kenny and I should go to the top floor to meet your CEO," with that said, both Arthur and Kenny get up from their seats and leave the office.

"Sigh." Seeing that Arthur and Kenny left the office room, he finally sighed. Previously, he was about to light up his cigarette when he suddenly heard knocking. So he quickly hid the cigarette but forgot to hide the lighter. He didn't even notice it.

Arthur and Kenny, after leaving the office room, approach the lift. They enter the lift and click the top floor button.

It takes only a minute to reach the top floor. When they came out of the lift, Arthur saw that this top floor was completely different from the other floor. 

"This floor is only for the CEO and her guest to rest. You can see those rooms. Those are bedrooms, and see here is the kitchen. Miss Alexa, our CEO, stayed in this room. I don't if she agreed to meet anyone or not, but I will try," 

Kenny said to me. While walking, she explained about the rooms Arthur saw on this floor.

Arthur POV: 

We both came in front of a room. Kenny knocks on the door.

"Who is it?" I heard a lady's voice from the room.  

" Ma'am, it's me, Kenny. I want to talk to you about something," Kenny replied.

" Actually, I previously met Miss Alexa. She is a straightforward person." Kenny whispered to me.

I just nodded.

" O Kenny, from the account section. You can enter." We got a reply.

We both enter the room. We saw a massive room where you can see a person sitting on the sofa while drinking coffee or tea.

"Hello, Kenny, and this..." the person said to Kenny.

"He is detective Arthur, miss Alexa," Kenny introduced me.

After putting down the cup, Alexa got up from his seat and came toward me.

"Nice to meet you, Detective Arthur," Alexa said to me. 

"Nice to meet you, Miss Alexa," I also said to her, while both of us shook hands.

All this time, I can tell she was observing me. What can I say? I am also doing the same thing.

"Please sit down, detective Arthur and Kenny," Alexa said while she went back to her seat. 

We both also sat down on the sofa.
