Chapter 19: Chapter 19 – Jain shopping mall

"Good morning Miss Kenny," I said to her. 

"Good morning, Mr. Arthur," she replied.

"By looking at your situation, anybody can tell that you could not sleep yesterday. Why? Did the enemy do something?" I asked her.

" No, Mr. Arthur, the enemy did nothing. It is just when I close my eyes I feel that someone is near me. Because of this, I could not sleep yesterday," she said with a forced smile.

" Miss Kenny. You need to relax and free your mind." I suggested it to her. She just nodded. 

"Okay, let's not waste our time here," I said to her. Kenny nodded, and we began to go toward the shopping mall.

3rd person POV:

So, Arthur and Kenny were now going toward the shopping mall using the long road.

Previously, Arthur suggested using the quick road, but just hearing about the quick road makes her scared, so Arthur took the long road. 

He knows that the incident still traumatized her. So he didn't want to push the matter further.

20 minutes later, 

Because of the traffic jam, it took them 20 minutes to reach here. They finally reached the Jain shopping mall. Arthur parked his bike in the parking section and with Kenny, he was now going to the shopping mall. 

Both of them approached the Jain shopping mall. A few minutes later, both of them enter the Jain shopping mall. 

"Miss Kenny, before watching the footage, I want to search for something. I think you can help me with it." Arthur told her.

Kenny only nodded.

"I want to know about a dress that someone brought. I just wanted to know if that dress was from your shopping mall. I think you know about the Genex clothes. All of these Genex dresses have a logo and that logo has a unique number. Using that unique number, we can track the dress. I also want to know about the Genex logo that I think came out of the dress," Arthur said to her.

" Yes, we keep the record of the person who buys any cloth that is made by the Genex company. We keep the details of the person and also the unique number of the logo of the dress. ," Kenny explained to him. 

Hearing her, Arthur becomes happy. If that is the case then he can easily find out about the dress/logo. He can also find out about the person who brought the dress. 

"Where will we find that record?" Arthur asked.

" We need to talk to my boss," Kenny said.

" Well, let's go. I don't want to waste time," with that said Arthur and Kenny approached the office room.

We both were now on the 3rd floor and approaching an office room. It is the office room of Kenny's boss.

Kenny knocks on the door.

"May I come in, sir?" She asked.

"Yes," we heard a voice from the office room.

We both entered the office room. I saw a middle-aged man sitting in his chair and looking at the computer. Noticing that someone had entered, he looked at us.

"Kenny, I think yesterday I already approved your holiday, so what brings you here?" he asked Kenny.

At this time, I was observing this person. The age of this person should be less than 45 years. His height should be 5 foot 6 inches. But the most interesting thing is that I don't know why, but when I look at this person's hair I feel something weird, like the hair was too perfect. 

' So, he is wearing a wig,' I murmured. 

Also, while looking at his leaves, I can tell he is a heavy smoker. Due to continuously inhaling nicotine, his lips are slight. Also, I think before Kenny knocked on the door, he was preparing to light a cigarette. If you are asking why, then I because I can see a lighter, beside a water bottle. He tries to hide it, but from my corner, I can see the lighter clearly. In a rush, he quickly hid the cigarette but he forgot to hide the lighter.

" Manager Dan, meet Detective Arthur, he wanted to ask you something," Kenny introduced me to her manager.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Dan," I said with a smile on my face, approaching him for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Detective Arthur," he also replied with a smile and handshake with me.

"So, detective Arthur, what do you want to ask?" He asked me.

"Mr. Dan, do you know that your employee, Miss Kenny, got attacked by someone? The person wants to kill her, but fortunately, people arrive there and save her." I asked him.

" What!!!!! Seriously?? So, this is the reason Kenny wanted a holiday. Mr. Arthur, I seriously know nothing about it. I only thought that she fell down the steps and hit her head. Kenny yesterday told me that so I only know this," He explained with a shocked expression. 

"Well, yes, I can understand her. This isn't a fortunate matter you should tell everyone. So, I can understand why she didn't tell you the truth." I said to him, He just nodded.

" I have two reasons to come here. 

First, I wanted to see the report paper where you have details of everyone who brought the clothes from the Genex company.

Second, I wanted to check CCTV footage of 2 days ago and 3 days ago. I suspect something happened here because of this she was attacked, " 

I told him the reason.

" About l the report paper, I can easily give you that. But the second request, I am unable to give you the formation. Today our CEO is present so I am unable to permit you. You need to talk to the CEO only then you can get permission." He told me. 

" So where can I meet you CEO? "I asked him.

"On the top floor, you can meet our CEO. I think Miss Kenny knows the direction. She can guide you there," he said.
