When I got home, the first thing I did was upload all the pictures I took to the cloud. All in all there were at least fifty pictures taken.
All of them show Nakada-san having a good time posing with the fish.
There were even a couple selfies of us, like with Tortoise-san and some Seahorses.
It was painful to compare us in those side-by-side selfies.
I thought I looked good, but I was pretty mismatched, and Iooked every bit the otaku I was.
Nakada on the other hand was a photogenic goddess.
I even made the photo of her ‘holding’ the jellyfish my PC’s background image.
I made a sharable link, and sent the link to her.
[To Nakada Shi-chan
You are absolutely stunning. If Kurage-san is the stars, Shiori is the sun.

ping sent!
It was cheesy, but it was the truth, to me anyway. So having sent the link, I was now free to spend the rest of the day how I wanted.
Of course my thoughts were mostly of Nakada-san. I didn’t get a reply back, so perhaps she was doing something like taking a shower.
It was hot out, and we did eat outside. The temperature was a bit hot, considering it’s the summertime.
I think back to what Kimiko had said she had to do to Shi-chan when she got all excited.
Was it because I was the one pushing the button, that it was okay for her to do that?
Somehow that play was more erotic because of how she used me to do it, but even the shy Shi-chan seems to have a desire to do those lewd things.
Is this what I have to look forward to?
I remember senpai saying Kimiko was like a succubus in the night, and that he was drained of his life force.
Was that a good thing? It had to be, right?
ping!

Kocchi~ Send me cute pictures of Shi-chan too~
How did it go?
I heard you followed my advice.
Too cute, right? She gets like that sometimes.
You can thank me later.
I’m too drunk to talk much, so I’ll talk to you later.]
I reply with the link, and go downstairs for a lonely meal.
Dad’s at work, Onee-chan hasn’t been around, and mom’s not due back for at least a week.
Lonely Kouta is lonely.
Gaman, shounen!
...I don’t want to eat noodles.
I can’t find anything I want, so I take a trip to the nearest Seven.
Some store bought onigiri, some potato chips, and a large cola.
I get to wondering if Shi-chan can cook, or if I will be the one doing the cooking should we end up living together.
I’m pretty sure Senpai does it all, but I still wonder if Kimiko tries at all.
Back home, I eat upstairs and watch some niconico, while perusing the dating advice threads.
There is nothing like what happened today in there.
I look for an ero dating ideas thread.
They are far too tame, or outright unrealistic.
Shi-chan is the perfect balance of ero for me, it seems.
Yet another reason to be happy.
ping.

Was it fun with Shi-chan, Kouta?
I had lots of fun going and coming <3.
Are you really a Tigers fan?
Mama likes then too, but shouldn’t you support the Ravens?
Don’t forget the chocolate.
Yobai* is still an acceptable practice.]
… I like the Tigers.
Also, its Reiwa* now. Night crawling isn’t even really a thing anymore, you know?
She’s ero until the end.
My belly is full, my mind is full, my heart is full.
Only thing to do now, is meet Shi-chan’s mama tomorrow.
Good night!
------ The Next Day ------
Sunday morning has come.
I have the address to Shi-chan’s house, and I lucked out that there’s a chocolatier shop on the way.
Shi-chan lives about fifteen minutes away from me on foot. So I dress to impress, with the improved Kouta-kun penguin costume.
...I just added the hat.
She did say her mama was a Tigers fan. Not enough of them in Tokyo, we have to support each other as true fans.
Anyway, body check.
Hat, Keys, Wallet (with condom).
The Holy Maiden’s Cloth has been used before I exit the room.
...It was used before I fell asleep last night too. It’s effects are amazing, after all.
I was careful in using it, my reasoning is safe.
I lock up the house and head towards the chocolatier. The shop sells a type of alcoholic chocolate, so I buy the one I am legally allowed to, since I’m not yet twenty, and have it wrapped as a gift.
It’s about five minutes from the store to Shi-chan’s house, and it’s cool this morning. The chocolates are safe too.
I can’t say Shi-chan lives in an impoverished neighborhood, but it’s definitely got Showa* vibes, even the nameplate on the house.
There is no doorbell, so I knock.
The person who answers the door is Shi-chan…
If Shi-chan was a MILF.
“Good morning, Nakada… Mama-san?”
She, like her daughter, is taller than I am by a few centimeters. She’s wearing a pair of beige hot pants, a faded pink camisole top that is exposing a dangerous amount of cleavage. There are two mountain peaks whose form are visible, there is no cloud coverage. Her skin is also a healthy tan, and her hair, what is falling out from under the matching pink and white striped headscarf that is somehow holding it every bit as blonde as her daughter’s.
“Kouta-kun, right?”
“Yes.”
She appraises me for a moment or two.
“Please come in.”
She moves to the side and allows me to enter.
I swap into house slippers, and am led to the kitchen table.
Shi-chan is waiting for me.
“Ko~u~ta<3”
Nakada-san gets up from the chair she’s sitting in and crashes into me with a big hug.
“A~h. Shi-chan is recharged!”
I am now a representative from Tokyo Electric.
There is no payment due. Please recycle on proper days, and keep the environment clean.
Shi-chan has me sit next to her, and Mama-san is in the middle of serving food.
Is this a joke?
It’s Oyakodon*.
Give me a break for one day, please!
I am given a bowl, and Mama-san joins us at the table.
“Mama, this is my Kouta!”
“Kouta, this is my Mama, also Shi-chan.”
“I see, pleased to meet you.”
“Likewise.”
She seems to be appraising me a bit further still.
“Kouta, huh? So you’ve taken an interest in my daughter have you?”
“Ah, Yes, I have.”
“Have you two done it yet?”
“Mama!”
Nakada-san the younger interjects.
“Don’t be rude. Kouta is a perfect gentleman.”
I respond as well.
“I am interested in dating your daughter properly. We have not become lovers as of this time.”
She raises an eyebrow.
“You want to date my daughter?”
I do.
“Yes. I’ve liked her for a long time, and a mutual acquaintance had us meet the other day.”
“Un. Kii-chan’s hubby is Kouta’s senpai.”
“Kii-chan’s responsible, is she?” Nakada-mama asks matter of factly.
“If it makes you feel better, I share the sentiment.” It really is all Kimiko’s fault.
It seems Nakada-mama is a bit hostile.
“Is something about me troubling you?” I dare to ask.
“You look familiar is all.” She responds coldly.
“Mama, be nice to Kouta!”
She nods.
“Sorry then, Kouta-kun. You are the first boy my wayward daughter has brought home.”
“I can understand. I’m sorry if I’m appearing lacking for your daughter, but I was raised properly, and don’t plan on taking advantage of her.”
Nakada-mama nods again.
“It’s true. I’ve tried already, but he won’t let me take advantage of him.”
“Oi! Stupid Daughter. Shut it while the grown ups talk.”
Nakada-mama has a mouth on her. But raising a daughter like Shiori must be tough.
“Well, sorry for the rude start on my part. I am Shi-chan’s mother, Nakada Shiho.”
“All the Nakada women five generations past are all Shi-chan!”
Some families have that kind of tradition, I guess? It’s my first time encountering it, however.
“Anyway, that’s why breakfast is special today, Kouta! In case you forget which Shi-chan is yours, I’ll let you know now, that I am alright with Oyakodon*.”
I knew it.
Give me back the shy Shiori.
What will I call this one? Baka Baka Shi*?
I can see her mother turn pale for a moment, before raising a hand to her brow and bracing for a headache.
Somehow, I mirror her.
“Kouta. Are you really alright with this idiot daughter of mine?”
“Yes. Somehow.”

We eat breakfast, and Shi-chan takes care of serving me some TKG*
It’s delicious.
“Did Shi-chan make it?” I ask.
Ah, should I have said Shi-chan just then?
“Nope, I can only cook spicy things.” Shi-chan says, though, she appears to be terrible at eating them.
“Mama is a really good cook.” She praises her mama.
“She really is. It’s super good. I’d like to insta* this for my sister’s blog.”
“A blog for food?”
It appears that topic interested Shiho.
“Ah, yes. My Onee-chan’s insta has like fifty-thousand followers. She’s really into sharing good cuisine.”
“Nee~ what’s the handle?”
“KanaCafe”
Shi-chan reaches for her phone and rapidly presses the screen a number of times.
“Fue~ Mama, look at this!”
I don’t need to see the screen to know what’s happening.
I curate the account from time to time. From the top to the bottom are the most amazing pictures of delicious cuisine in the 23 wards.
Onee-chan is thorough, and merciless.
“I’ve had that before… and that!”
Shiho is pointing at a few pictures as they scroll. After a couple of minutes, Shi-chan puts the phone down. By then, I’ve finished eating. I did snap a picture though, for later.
Shiho cleared the table real quick then opened a sliding door before returning to the table with a beer and having an after meal cigarette. Shi-chan also joined in on the latter part.
“Sorry about that Kouta-kun, it’s my fault she picked up a bad habit.”
I wave it off.
“It happened back then, and I didn’t do much to stop it.”
“Back then?” I ask.
“You know, when you took her to the hospital.”
???
“Hospital? “
“Mama. Kouta says he doesn’t remember that.”
“Oh. Really?”
“Yes, for some reason Nakada-san was able to recognize me, but I have no recollection of meeting her before recently.”
…
“That kind of makes sense. She looks a lot different now.”
“Eh?”
“She used to have black hair. This gyaru* phase is something new.”
Black hair… in the past… hospital?
I feel like I should remember this. My brain is trying to process a bunch of past memories, but nothing is forthcoming. Something is there though, it just feels blocked.
I shake my head, it’s no good.
“After she was released, she was a mess, and while on the way home in the car, she asked to have the one I was having… I gave in without a word… and now… this.”
She gestures to her daughter.
“There isn’t a parenting handbook on how to deal with that situation. And to top it off I’m a single parent, so there’s a limit to what I could do. Somewhere underneath her behavior, I’m sure she’s still a good girl. I just spoiled her instead of keeping proper discipline, so she became this way”
Shiho explains it, as if Nakada-san’s behavior is a result of her bad parenting. It’s possible, but I wonder what the hospitalization is about.
I’m frankly afraid to ask.
“It’s fine. While under twenty, children shouldn’t do such things, I can’t say anything. My entire family does it as well, so it doesn’t really bother me.”
It’s true. Dad, Mom, and Kana all do it as well. I just don’t find any interest in it. Maybe it’s stress related, but I don’t have much of that. I take care of my health, and I work out with my Anitore* twice a week. Besides, if it’s anything like coffee, I’ll vomit.
(*Anime workout video with a cute 2d waifu)
While the ladies are doing their thing, I take a moment to reach in the bag I brought from the chocolatier shop, and offer it to Shiho-san.
“Shi-chan mentioned you like alcohol and chocolate. Unfortunately, I was only able to get some chocolates for you as a greeting.”
Shiho takes it and looks at the nice wrapping. It was worth the little extra I paid.
Of course, she just tore right into it with abandon.
“Assorted liquor flavored chocolates and rum cordials?”
She opens the box and pops one in her mouth. She closes her eyes and savors the taste.
Shi-chan tries to reach for one, but Shiho smacks her hand.
“These are for mama.” Shiho refuses to share.
“Thank you Kouta-kun, it was a thoughtful gift.”
“Un. They are only low percent alcohol chocolates though, they said the dark chocolate ones are more suited to an adult’s taste.”
The lady who worked behind the counter was in her thirties, so I trusted her advice.
“Nee~ Kouta, want to see my room?”
“I’ll pass on that for now. Somehow I think it’s dangerous to go in there.”
Shiho laughed.
“You really haven’t done it with my daughter?”
I shake my head.
“I want to get to know her before we do any of that stuff, so I have just been inviting her on some dates for now.”
“Well if it happens it happens. I do appreciate that you are treating her like a girl though. I think she experienced too much adult stuff too early.”
I offer a wry smile.
“I like her, even if she is a bit aggressive. She’s a fun date, and I think I’m lucky to get to be with someone like Shi-chan.”
“Hmm. Well if it doesn’t work out, I’m single. How old are you anyway, Kouta-kun?”
“I’ll be eighteen soon.”
“Geh. A twenty-five year age gap…” she coughs “Kouta-kun likes older women too, doesn’t he?”
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!
“No Mama, Kouta is mine!!”
Shi-chan playfully latches on to my arm.
“Quick, let’s run away and elope!”
She pulls me but I don’t budge.
“You’ll have to wait until I turn 18 before our marriage can be accepted legally.”
I deadpan.
“Oh. That’s good. Let’s get married soon then, Kouta! Then Mama can’t steal you away.”
How did we get to marriage all of a sudden?
“Marriage at a young age is fruitless. If a woman sees a ring on a young man’s hand, it just makes them want to steal them away.”
“Just because Mama’s lover got stolen away, doesn’t mean I’ll let Kouta be taken!”
“Who would have wanted a guy that was taken that easy anyway! That’s why I gave him up and married your father!”
“Yes, but papa was no good either.”
“That’s true…”
Women are merciless with words.
“Nee~ Kouta. You won’t sleep around on me and get stolen away by some other girl, leaving me lonely and pregnant will you?”
I don’t know how to reply to that.
Nakada-san however takes the omission of a reply as guilt.
“Then time for plan B. If Kouta wants another girl, I have to approve her, since I’m going to be the legal wife.”
Now this is a scenario eroge has prepared me for.
“Alright. Shi-chan is the legal wife. I will agree to that, but I’ll say the same back to you. You won’t just use me, then discard me when a better looking guy comes along?”
She shakes her head.
“Of course not. I may have been off to a rough start, but if I have Kouta, I should be okay. And if something happens, well, Kouta will just have to forgive me.”
That doesn’t make me feel any better.
“What ‘if something happens…?’ are you already planning ahead?”
I retort at Shi-chan.
She stops talking for a moment, and puts a finger to her temple as if deep in thought.
“I think as long as Kouta doesn’t forget he has a wife that will need lots of love, I should be fine.”
Senpai, did you have to deal with this too?
Shi-chan however gets a bit sullen then, and sits down.
“I haven’t thought about it. Actually.” she says, “I really love Kouta. But something like that could happen, couldn’t it?”
It seems she’s reflecting on herself.
“Kouta. What would you do if that happened?”
I’d get pissed off.
“I’d be unreasonably mad.”
Shiho is enjoying the show as her daughter realized her own shortcoming by being a tramp.
“I don’t think I want to be with anyone other than Kouta, though?”
“Well, we are still young. There’s a chance this might not work out…”
“I don’t wanna hear that!”
She latches on to me again.
“Kouta, you absolutely can’t let me go if I do something stupid like that.”
“Isn’t it unreasonable to say something like that, though?”
“I just don’t want to lose Kouta ever again…”
Shi-chan is now looking somber.
“Mama, what do I do?” Shi-chan quietly asks, with sincerity.
“Don’t ask me, it’s the guys who I was with who slept around on me after all.”
“Muu..” Shi-chan is depressed now.
“Ah!” Shiho stares at me suddenly.
“That’s why you look so familiar to me!”
She takes a drag on her cigarette then exhales a large plume of smoke.
“You remind me of him. The guy who ruined my life by cheating on me with that fucking slut Reiko.”
She snaps her fingers a few times before it comes to her.
“Kawamura Ryohei!”
She takes another drag and exhales again angrily.
Why did she say those two names?
I want to leave suddenly.
“Nee~ that is the same last name Kouta has.”
Oh fuck.
“Kawamura Kouta...kun?”
She pauses and stares at me with a killing intent.
“You wouldn’t happen to be related to someone by that name, would you?”
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
“Ah…”
I really don’t want to say it.
“Both actually… those are my parent’s names.”
Shiho’s fist bangs against the table loud enough to make it sound like an explosion.
“Get out of my house at once!” she screams.
…
Yes ma’am!
(Secret 16: For Kouta, his Onee-chan was his surrogate mother growing up. Reiko, despite being his birth mother, is actually much more a stranger to him than he cares to admit.)
