Chapter 3: Danzo, Jiraiya, and a chat with Hiruzen

(The next day)

|For story’s sake, I decided that the next day was Saturday, so no school, and the new genin will meet their new Jonin sensei on Monday.|

Ugh, why are you here?  I’m still resting from last night.  Two tails is more than this body can handle, so I feel like shit.(R)

I’m here to tell you that I want you to hide in the classroom that Naruto is in on monday.  I am assigning you to a jonin sensei.  He’s very strong and reliable.  He’s aware that you’re a special fox, but he’s unaware that you’re a kyuubi.  If you want to reveal that there’s two kyuubi to him, go ahead.  I trust him.(H)

What do I get for giving him a chance?(R)

2 full steaks drizzled in that sauce from that one place you are constantly seen by.(H)

Alright deal.  But I want to sit in a private room.  I’m a little tired of having to eat quickly out by the dumpsters, lest I have people using jutsu on me and attacking me.(R)

Did any of them use fire style?(H)

Yeah.  This one place that sells dango had this guy who set my fur on fire with one, then trapped me to keep my fur burning.  I got free, and I am unfortunately too weak from the seal, severe malnutrition, being really underweight, and my many injuries to harm him.  I’m sure that nobody would be willing to help me, and besides, I’m still not sure you’re the real leader of konoha.  Especially considering what’s going on in the shadows.  You should really get rid of the council.  They are almost all corrupt.  And the civilian council is both completely corrupt and full of complete idiots.(R)

I would have helped you, and what do you mean you don’t think I’m the leader?  I’m the Hokage!  Also, I can’t just get rid of the council, or the civilian council.(H)

I didn’t know you would have helped me, and I will explain when you bring me the mummy guy.  And you completely can get rid of them.  You’re not some fairy-tale king, you’re the hokage of Konoha.  So act like it.  It’s impossible to please everyone.  Open your eyes and see the state of Konoha.  You have 2 incompetent clans, 3 NEARLY EXTINCT clans, and I know who it’s because of.  As a matter of fact, just call Danzo Shimura to your office, and I will be there to tell you all that he has done.(R)

You’re right.  I am the hokage.  I need to fix this.  You will get your steaks next weekend, as that restaurant recently had an accident in their kitchen, and are out of commission for a week while they fix that.  Rest up.  I want you in my office at noon tomorrow.(H)

*Hiruzen goes poof*

She’s right.  I need to change and I need to fix this.  But since I at least need substantial evidence to do anything to the council, I will need her help.  After all, I suspect that the fox's body had a dormant kekkei genkai before she was sealed in there, and that her being sealed awakened the kekkei genkai.  After all, one eye was sky blue with a touch of yellow and glowing.  I will make the arrangements for her to enter my office tomorrow.(H)

*Kakashi is dumbfounded that the fox can talk, but he isn’t showing it outwardly*

{she follows him until they enter the hokage’s office}

It looks like you have met one of your four new genin, Kakashi.(H)

HE’S MY NEW TEACHER?!?!?!(R)/SHE’S ONE OF MY NEW GENIN?!?!?!(K)

Yep.  I see no point in concealing your team from you now.  Your new team will be her, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno.  Now then, please go.  I have an appointment with her and Danzo in a few minutes.(H)

*Kakashi leaves*

Why did you ask to see me, Hiruzen?(Danzo)

This fox says that she has some interesting information, and I wanted you here to hear it.(H)

I’m not.  You will pay for your sins, as I know what you have done.  The Uchiha, the Senju, the Uzumaki, the fourth Hokage and his wife, the Hatake clan, Konoha’s White Fang, the ROOT, Tsunade Senju’s phobia of blood, that arm, those eyes, all the crimes you have committed.  You will pay for your sins, Danzo.  I’ll even say how you did these things.  You had the Senju clan killed one by one, you forced Konoha’s White Fang to commit suicide through blackmail and rumors, you leaked the information of the location and time that Naruto would be born, you have caused Naruto so much pain using rumors and getting him kicked out of the orphanage at the age of three, you stopped the information about the Uzumaki clan from reaching Hiruzen on time, you manipulated things so that the Uchiha clan was ostracized from the rest of the village and when it looked like they might coup, you forced Itachi to kill all but 2 of the Uchiha clan.  You had your arm replaced with one made from the cells of Hashirama Senju, and then implanted 10 sharingan into your arm, and you took a mangekyou sharingan from Shisui and placed it into your eye socket which caused him to commit suicide to prevent further violence and animosity between the village and the Uchiha clan before Itachi was forced to murder his clan.  You kidnap children with good kekkei genkai and brainwash them to be your loyal subordinates in ROOT, and you have caused the death of many highly loyal S-rank shinobi.  Oh, and you directly caused Tsunade to not reach those she cared for in time,causing her to develop a fear of blood, you tried to assassinate Hiruzen on several different occasions, and let’s not even mention the several times that you gave Orochimaru access to highly classified information, helped hide his experiments from Hiruzen, and how you helped him escape Konoha when he defected.(R)

WHAT!  If you weren’t my old friend Danzo I would kill you here and now.  Get out of my office.  Both of you.  Danzo, I am ordering you to do nothing to her.(H)

Hiruzen managed to get information that he found the person who leaked Kushina’s pregnancy and controlled the kyuubi to go on a rampage to Jiraiya, who decided to come back to Konoha for a bit.  He decided to stop by the Hokage monument first, to get a better view of the village from its top.  And when he reached the top he yelled “I, JIRAIYA THE TOAD SAGE, HAVE RETURNED!”
