Chapter 7: Zabuza Momochi, and Naruto’s injured?!

*At the order given by Naruto, Kakashi suddenly appears, instantly defeating the two enemies.*

Good job you three.  Nice job remembering to leave someone to protect the client, and good analysis of the situation Naruto.  Your shuriken throw was perfect Sasuke.  Good work staying to protect the client Sakura.(K)

I really need to teach you some jutsu.  Though it was a pretty poor idea to physically attack him, it was your best option.  Although going for the eyes was a good idea.(K)

*Sasuke has this haughty smirk on his face, Sakura is smiling, and Naruto is clearly very happy.  And Rita, despite trying not to look so, is clearly very pleased with herself, and happy that Kakashi praised her.  Everyone can see that by the way her tail is animatedly moving.*

Now then, want to explain why you submitted a B-rank mission as a C-rank?(K)

*Rita immediately glares at him, alongside the others.*

*To Tazuna, Sasuke has a hazy outline of Madara around him, Kakashi has an outline of the White Fang, Naruto looks like the Yellow Flash, Sakura looks like Tsunade Senju, and Rita looks like the Kyuubi*

(Author note: I decided to do this because it seemed funny that they look like the scariest person in their history.  This is why, even though Sasuke never met Madara, he has the hazy outline of him.  It’s because he’s the scariest Uchiha known.  Kakashi looks like his father, because his father was also very scary to many, and the legend of the “Yellow Flash” is known to everyone.  Same with the kyuubi.)

*Tazuna is sweating under their glares.*

Okay okay.  Fine.  My village is very poor, because we have been under the tyranny of a man named Gato.  He doesn’t want the bridge to be built, so he hired some people.  I could barely scrape the money to pay for a C-rank mission together.  So I submitted it as a C-rank instead of a higher rank.  I knew he hired some ninjas, but I don’t know how strong they are.  He’s a greedy man.(T)

Okay then.  How about we continue with the mission, but we will send notice to the Hokage of this.  After all, if he’s greedy, he probably won’t hire any ninja stronger than low-chunin due to the price.(K)

Kakashi sends Pakkun back to Konoha to deliver the information to the Hokage, and they continue on their journey.

*Everyone is just walking along, when they come upon a river with a bridge over it.*

I can’t believe that we haven’t had a single issue since that fight.(R)

Well, I wouldn’t exp-DUCK!(K)

*Kakashi grabs Naruto and Sakura to help them duck in time, as Sasuke has already ducked, and Rita tackled Tazuna to the ground.  Just barely quick enough to not have their heads taken off by a massive sword that came flying at them, impaling itself into the tree behind them.*

*Looking up they see a lone figure standing there*

Kakashi-sensei.  What rank mission includes a fight with a ninja with a bingo book entry?  I know that you know who that is, Kakashi-sensei, but for those of you who don’t, that is Zabuza Momochi.  Known as the demon of the hidden mist, one of the famous seven ninja swordsmen of the mist, S-rank missing-nin from Kirigakure who was banished for trying to do a good deed and assassinate the yondaime mizukage, and wielder of the Kubikiribocho.(R)

I need to get serious for this.  Naruto, shadow clones. Sasuke, use kunai, shurikenjutsu, and mid to long range jutsu.  Sakura, protect Tazuna from stray attacks.  Rita, support me.(K)

*After giving these orders, Kakashi pulled up his headband to reveal his sharingan and fixed it on the enemy*

*Everyone is tense, and waiting for the attack*

Brain, Liver, Kidneys, Spine, Lungs, Cervical Vein, Neck Vein, and Heart, which one should I go for?(Z)

*A dense killing intent filled the mist, causing Kakashi to release his own, causing it to violently clash with Zabuza’s, and causing Rito to instinctively release some of hers.*

(Author note: This is the killing intent she inherited from her chakra, which came from Kurama’s chakra, which came from the Jubii.)

*After a moment of tense silence, Realization dawns on Rita and Kakashi.*

His target is Tazuna!(Rita/Kakashi)

*Suddenly, there’s the sound of a clash*

Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!(K)

*The mist is suddenly blown away, revealing Zabuza standing on the river, while an injured Naruto is laying next to an injured Rita with a large gash in his chest.*

I managed to stop the attack with Naruto’s help, but he’s injured.(R)

Zabuza Momochi…You have made a mistake in hurting Naruto.  Come on brother, heal him and fight!(R)

*Zabuza’s eyes go wide as he sees a dense red chakra cloak envelop Naruto and Rita, and Naruto’s wound heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.  Suddenly, Naruto stands up, only, one of his eyes is red with a slit.*

*In naruto’s head: I will let you use my chakra for now, so long as you use it to beat the shit out of that shinobi standing on the river for hurting my sister.*

Who are you?!(N)

That’s my brother, the Kyuubi.  He was sealed inside of you by your father, Minato Namikaze, after he was forced to go on a rampage in the middle of Konoha due to a genjutsu.(R)

So they are the jinchuriki.  That explains that chakra and ridiculous healing speed from the boy, and the presence of the fox.(Z)
