Suddenly, you find yourself standing in a whole different place, somewhere you haven't been to before. It's dark. Only faint rays of moonlight get through the hazy mist, barely letting you see your surroundings.

You turn your head, look around. A chill runs through your spine.

There are tombstones, hundreds of tombstones of all different sizes and shapes surrounding you.

Is this a graveyard? you think.

Slowly and carefully, you approach one of them. It's the smallest grave you can find. You have been thinking that there is a chance something will suddenly rise from the graves and attack you. Therefore, if the grave is small, then the creature under it will also be small.

That's your logic. You are smart.

But... What creature can it be under the grave?

"Fuuuu~" you blow the thick layer of dust away from the surface of that tombstone, revealing some information on it. You read, another chill shots through your spine.

Suddenly, a hand punches through the ground, grabs your foot and pulls you into the grave. "Aaaa!!" you yell, asking why you have to do this to yourself, before losing consciousness.

You open your eyes, but cannot see anything.

But your eyes can still know things.

And it's not that you fainted or anything, it's just that the story thinks that you fainted out of fear.

"But… aren't they the same thing?" you ask yourself a stupid question again.

Urrghhh… your head gets extremely heavy and your mind is confused as you think more and more of this subject. Therefore, you decide to not think about it anymore.

Or are you just too lazy to come up with a proper explanation by faking your own headache?

"Why am I doing this to myself?" You pull your non-existing hair.

Luckly, just before you turn crazy, a familiar figure approaches you and greets you with a smile.

He's handsome. Your headache also magically goes away. You can now have a normal conversation...

Therefore, "Okay," you say to you, before reaching into your pocket to get a piece of paper, named "The Absolute Soul contract."

Then, giving you a quill pen, you smile and ask you, "Are you ready?"

"No," you reply with another smile, then say the words loudly before signing the contract.

"I relinquish parts of my soul, and agree to be reincarnated into another with no memories attached."

And just like that, everything has been set in stone.

The contract then glows. You scream. Your soul is ripped apart like a piece of paper, and half of it dissolves into tiny light particles before being sucked into the contract.

You already sealed the deal, there is no coming back now!

Your knees drop onto the ground as you have no strength left. You are scared. This might be the most stupid thing to do, but... you know you have to do it.

It's the only way…

It's the only way a God can enjoy living with his own creations.

And so, the chapter ends, with you now trapped inside your own story, praying that fate will have mercy in the future, as now there is something even you can't know beforehand.
