Chapter 3: Chapter 3: What is going on?

Cain started to understand a little but not everything , one thing he could make out is that the being in front of him named Artorix is impatient and prideful . One of the things that Cain knew about himself was that his decision making skills are top-notch  , it was mainly because he concluded everything to a yes or no decision , so to decide here he took the case here came to the conclusions.

First he had died so that was a yes , next he had an opportunity to live on in another world but there were many variables such as how can he live and how will he live . But he decided living is important and also the being in front of him was incredibly strong as to even to take on 3 others as the same status as him and live on so becoming his successor he would mostly have access to the same powers and he would also be able to fulfil his regrets of not loosing his virginity . So he decided to reincarnate , but who was Cain .He was a person who held back a lot in his life so that his parents wouldn't be ashamed of him . but now there were no Chains ,so now Cain started his innate skill which he had honed since childhood , the legendary skill of bargaining.

All these thoughts occurred in Cain's mind within seconds using yes and no for each decesion and only regarding profit for himself he started to speak to remove all ambiguity

"Lord Artorix I will tell my decision but before that can you please clarify few of my questions?" said Cain in a very polite manner as if a low level employee was speaking to the boss of his company .

Artorix seemed pleased with the attitude of Cain , as he was being respectful to him and in a deep tone he told "continue"

"Thank you lord Artorix , so my doubts are:

How developed is Variondrix?

How much influence do the 4 primordials and you have on the planet?

Can primordials have children?

How will i be sent to you're world?

How will the canidates get you're power?

will you give me any abilities and send me a guide like a system?

How are you going to die?

since you're hostile to the other 3 primordials will they hunt me?

Please give me advice on how to survive lord Artorix" Cain Looked at Artorix as though a loyal servant was looking at his master with utmost respect and loyalty , Artorix frowned a little but then started to explain.

"As i've seen you're memories Variondrix can't be said as developed as earth as in rural places its similar to you're medieval earth , while important cities are highly developed using mana technology and there are also many humanoid races" Artorix continued as he started to circle around Cain.

"As for influence I and Blank didn't have much as we mostly hid from the public eye, but few people worship me and Blank while the other three have large empires under them and major religions following them with faith and devotion but if u take strength wise only Blank  can rival me in one on one the others no , but they are certainly the strongest beings " Artorix then clicked his fingers and suddenly a throne appeared where he sat indifferently and continued.

"As for children yes we can but I didn't prefer to have one as who would've thought i would be in this state , as far as i know primodials can mate as long as they first absord the mortal of the same species they want to mate with.

You will be sent through a body i prepare it will be a mixture of species which is best suitable to handle my power as for how i will die , i still have little soul essence left which will help me create the body and send there and put some info to you that will consume all my soul and i will die, no need to worry about me i've lived too long and I'm too bored to live on , Sigh ..."Artorix sighed and looked at me with a irritated look on his face but he turned away and continued

"As i told you when i die there will be imbalance so nature will move energy similar to mine to some beings so that they can replace me , it is the second time happening since i killed Gaia's predecessor last time so I'm Sure , that energy can be redirected by primordials to their chosen candidates ,but the candidates should also be worthy to sustain the power

I don't know about Blank as He is too aloof , the other three will surely hunt you if they know , I mean i tried to kill them you know ,so and they will be able to sense you're presence in the world as you start to accumulate my energy.

As for abilities i can grant you one ability with its full power , if i put more you're body will explode and you're soul will burn off , and i will leave behind a guide for you , like the 'system' you say but it will start to fade away after a 100 Variondrix years so then you can maintain it with you're own energy or let it fade  , i'm letting you decide cause you may hamper me when transporting you're soul to the body on Variondrix and cause me to fail otherwise i would've done it without your consent" now Artorix looked at me with a killing gaze enough to paralyze anyone as they look into his eyes where only flames can only be seen and he asked me

"So tell me you're decision "

Seeing him Cain knew he pissed off Artorix ,but he gained useful info as well with this he gathered all the required data , he could make out Artorix wasn't hiding anything as he could just throw Cain out  and continue the search , looking at Artorix's face Cain gulped and told

"So what abilities can i choose from and let my body be male who is very attractive"

Artorix lips curled upwards a little as he said

"Good Choice Lad , you can choose from these 10 abilities "
