Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The Decisions

Cain a general anime fan who following the chain of all fans as he  went from anime -> manga-> manhwa->light novels and webnovels . This was one of the was Cain would spend his salary ,he didn't particularly care about  his looks or clothes and always wore a light shirt and dark pants as to garner as little attention as possible due to his over cautious nature ,which was likely the part of him burnt . He spent most of his salary on food , Videogames , anime and new techstuff .So he had read many stories like this and was eager to choose an ability , but when he saw them he had a heavy frown on his face looking at them as the levitated as tablets infront of him:

Absolute energy manipulation

Flame Elemental's control

Levitation

Flame Elemental synthesis

Immortal Hellfire body

Summoning Flame Elementals

Eternal Flame control

Eye of the sage

Telekinesis

Clairvoyance

Looking at the options given to him Cain couldn't understand what was going on , where was the undead summoning , where was the dimensional abilities , where was the legendary predator ability , he couldn't understand what was this list , these were good abilities by no means bad ones but he wanted the badass ones ,the ones which the MC's got.

Cain's utterly disappointed face could be seen ,which was like where a person got a bicycle instead of the BMW he ordered. Seeing this Artorix started to burn more brightly , veins started to pop on his head ,with an angry and irritated tone he asked Cain

"What !?"

"These abilities....  they are normal... i mean like are they powerful ...?" Cain asked Artorix like a disappointed kid asks his parents.

"YOU FOOL!!! what are you saying I'm these abilities to you at their full capacity, and only ONE of them though you can learn ,Absolute energy manipulation ,Flame Elemental's control ,Flame Elemental synthesis ,Summoning Flame Elementals and Eternal Flame control but mastering each of them will take 100's of years !" Artorix's voice echoed , he was pissed his pride was hurt but as he had seen Cain's memories he calmed down and started to explain.

"You will also get few innate abilities  from me as i will die they will be transferred to you , they will act as supportive abilities see them"

few smaller tablets appeared which glowed with a bluish tinge , the abilities here were:

Absolute combat mastery

Soul prison

Primordial's mind

Complete Thermal resistance

Favor of nature

Favor of flame elementals

All speak

As Cain was looking at them Artorix continued "even some part of my knowledge will be given to you when my soul vanishes and these will be unique to you only even the others candidates can't learn it as these are my 2 of them are my unique abilities and other 3 they will only get if the reach the power level of me and one is only available for primordials and the last one is a necessity"

Cain looking at them was really happy , except the last 4 which completely gave them away by their name .The first 3 Absolute Combat mastery ,Soul prison and Primordial's mind were great as he read their descriptions

Innate Ability : Absolute combat mastery

Description: Mastery in all types of combat existing will be achieved by to the maximum capacity which can be handled  by the hosts body. All mastery increases with use of weapons or increase in the hosts strength or body constitution

Rank to be granted : Master

*Mastery levels : beginner < intermediate <Expert < Master < Peak< Saint <Prime< Absolute

NOTE : Absolute Mastery can only be achieved when host has mastery of the ability better than any living being with any similar abilities on the planet

Innate ability: Soul Prison

Description: Souls of all enemies will be absorbed whose bodies are burned to death or after death by the host's flames . Wherever the souls are escaped to are pulled into the host's body where they are burned completely till their whole soul vanishes from existence . All of the Soul's abilities will be absorbed by the host during the process.

Rank to be granted : Prime

NOTE : ability doesn't work on Undead creatures , works only on Peak level and above undead as they have auxiliary soul

Innate ability :Primordial's mind

Description : Able to maintain calm mind all situations and negate all ill effects on the mind . Increases the Hosts sensitivity to killing intent and Danger ,this increases as the host grows stronger.

Rank to be granted : Master

Innate ability : All speak

Description : Able to talk , communicate and understand in all languages in Variondrix

Seeing these Cain's started to smile like a fool , this also made Artorix uncomfortable but he said

"Choose from the 10 abilities now , and creation of you're body will be in my hands so choose soon"

Cain then turned and looked at the larger tablets , though they were cheat level skills he thought a skill complementing his innate skills would be the best , by this he narrowed it down to 2 abilities .He wanted both of them but he remembered Artorix's warning and felt chills rundown his spine. The 2 abilities he was looking at were:

Absolute Ability : Absolute energy manipulation

Description : Host can manipulate all forms of energy to his own wish , no form of energy can resist his control

NOTE: Ability can be learnt by 300-500 years time

This may not say much but Cain knew it needn't say much he thought ' this is completely broken , like i can create a nuclear blast in air and even control it's energy output i'll be like a nuclear warhouse , and also if i think properly then i will be able to absorb all heat from the surroundings making it's temperature drop to absolute 0 ,  This is cool . But I can master this in 300 - 500 years while the other one i can't learn itself sigh'

The other ability was:

Absolute Ability : Immortal Hellfire body

Description : Host's real body will be made of hellfire , host cannot die unless Hellfire is completely out of the host , even if a small tinder of the host is left the whole body will be regenerated to it's peak condition .When ability is used for combat the user's body gets enveloped by Hellfire , though it can only be maintained for less time , time increases as user's strength increases. Whoever touches the hosts Hellfire will burn till eternity to crisp unless the host takes back the flame or if the Water of the heaven immortal's blessing is used.

Rank to be granted : Absolute

NOTE : Ability can't be learned anywhere else and only one user of it can exist

This ability essentially made him immortal and also gave him an attack of hellfire which itself is a great ability considering the Absolute combat mastery ability , Cain felt Immortal Hellfire body as he will be able to learn Absolute energy manipulation with time though it will take alot.

Cain then tells Artorix "I want Immortal Hellfire body and please make my body handsome and attractive"

Artorix responds seriously "Think about it , you will have utmost 100 years or the others will surely hunt you down but this is you're decision are you sure ?"

"Yes"

"I won't interfere in you're decision but fine i'll start the process . I'll place you in the part of Variondrix  where you can start and where the 3 primordials have the least influence . Remember those 3 were my enemies not yours , so you will decide how to be with them" Slowly as Artorix was saying he started to grow larger back to his original form and started to burn brightly ,so bright that it illuminated the void completely. Cain couldn't see anything as it was too bright he just heard Artorix's voice

"I will now die , i don't have any expectations of you , you can live how you want, the only thing i want is the flame primordial should never be a servant to anyone " with few minutes of gap he continued

" You're body is now created and I will now interlink you're body ,soul and you're abilities and a part of my soul essence ,haha.. . My soul essence ,no just some guiding and informing entity. I as of now will cease to exist . The other Primordials will feel it to and start preparing their candidates  "

As Artorix was speaking , Cain felt himself pulled somewhere he couldn't see he felt some thing was added to him slowly he started to loose consciousness. The last things he heard was

"Don't Trust anyone until you're strong enough to defend yourself .... huff..huff..

kill all the Candidates without fail ,...

Then live on as you want for as I the Flame Primordial Choose you to be next in line to my throne"

Heavy breathing echoed through the void breaking the tone Artorix told

" Finally i can die in peace , all you backstabbers FUCK YOU !!! and Cain all the best and just let yourself loose" as these words ended the bright light completely faded and it was all dark again .

But Cain started to feel somethings , Yes he couldn't feel anything except the pressure from Artorix till now , but now he felt like he was lying down , Cain slowly rubbed and opened his eyes .
