“Do I taste sweet?” Yoonshin asked.

Sehun’s thoughts were completely written on his face.

“How would I know? Stick your tongue out. I’ll tell you after I taste that,” he said.

“We can’t do any more than this here. I’m old-fashioned, aren’t I? I know.”

Sehun’s brows furrowed slightly as he pushed Yoonshin away. “Let’s get going now. I have something to do at home.”

“Huh? Can’t you stay here with me a bit longer? I’ll be alone at home.”

“It would be better to have a date at home, huh? It’s about time we rewrote history.”

“We’ve only been going out for two days. I think it’s better for that to stay in your imagination like before…”

“The term old-fashioned is better suited for using it at times like these.”

Yoonshin waved his hands with his face red, saying that Sehun was going too fast. He even started to shake his head in fervent refusal. Sehun, looking down as he got up, looked a bit infuriated. “I got it the first time, so no need to emphasize it. Stop, before I change my mind and push you down.”

Sehun swiftly placed the mugs back on the tray and pulled the embarrassed Yoonshin up from his seat. Forced to stand, Yoonshin gnawed on his lips, upset that Sehun one-sidedly decided to go home. However, he was unable to properly rebel against his superior, and he meekly followed.

The air outside was chilly, confirming the changing seasons.

They passed the basement arcade and walked quietly down the maze-like hallway connecting the apartments. They did not exchange a single word even as they walked down the long corridor leading to the lobby of the parking garage.

They reached a bend in the hallway where the lights had gone out. Suddenly, Yoonshin was pushed against the wall of the corner. Sehun lifted his chin and crushed his lips.

“Ngh…!” Yoonshin yelped.

Darkness shrouded the two. After shyly colliding, their lips parted. The pair of tongues latched onto each other. They meshed together like the petals of a pair of thistle flowers interlocking.

As their collided flesh intimately pulled apart, a string of clear fluid connected them before snapping off. It all felt very risqué to Yoonshin.

Letting out a sigh, Yoonshin pulled Sehun closer and leaned against him. Yoonshin’s entire face was on fire. Perhaps Sehun could feel it—Sehun’s large hands ran through his hair, stroking the younger man’s silky locks several times. Yoonshin thought so before, but Sehun’s touches were rather kind and gentle.

They wanted to stick together longer, but unfortunately, they heard someone coming down the hallway.

They smoothly pulled away, and after the other residents walked by, they slowly resumed walking to the building.

When they reached the lobby, Yoonshin could see the glass door where he had met Sehun a few months ago. Yoonshin didn’t want to send Sehun away like this, so he grabbed Sehun’s hand.

Sehun glanced to the side. “Do you want me to walk you to your house?”

“No, I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed our first date. I liked being with you even if we weren’t doing anything special. Just chatting with you was nice. Although, being scolded by you kind of hurt.”

“That’s good.”

“Did you feel like today was a waste of time?”

“I had fun too. Now that you mention it, it never occurred to me that I was wasting my time. I should have, knowing me. That’s weird.” Sehun narrowed his eyes, trying to decipher the reason.

Grinning, Yoonshin swerved into the other’s lane of thought and added, “Then, that’s good enough. I want you to be happy. I want to be happy too.”

“…”
