Chapter 6: Astrid

(Astrid's POV)

My head hurt like hell as I woke up. I pressed my palms on my face realizing how hot I was. "I have definitely a fever" I mumbled. I waited until my headache got a little less bad and listened to the raindrops hitting the walls of my tent.

I turned so that I lied on my back and everything that happened came back to me. Stormfly and I found the two first rock formations but then we were hit by a storm and I fell into the ocean. "I hope Stormfly managed to fly back to berk. If she did the other will come for me soon"

I put my in a more comfortable position before realization struck me. "If I am not back at berk where am ?" I opened my eyes...

(Hiccup’s POV)

Fishlegs and me stood alone by the entrance of the dragon academy waiting for Astrid to return. "Why has the weather to be this bad" I screamed so that Fishlegs could hear me. The water pouring on the stone walls and the wind made an incredible noise.

Toothless was already back at the house because he was exhausted from the flight. On top of that we also had to search for the twins because they suddenly disappeared. We found them In a cave painting fish and releasing them.

In the end Ruffnut and Tuffnut were the reason for the "strange fish" we caught in the last month.

"Hiccup look over there" Fishlegs screamed and pointed at the sky. We saw the figure of a dragon approaching us. "Maybe she took so long because she found something" Fishlegs said and that would've also been my first guess.

Stormfly landed on roared and we soon realized that Astrid was missing. "Something must have happened!" "We must search for her and help her"

Fishlegs countered "Flying in these weather is a suicide mission." I cursed. Even if I didn't like it but I wasn't even sure if Toothless prosthetic tail fin would be able to last in that kind of weather

"I hate to say it but right now we can't do anything but pray and as soon as the weather get's better we should check on her" Fishlegs screamed. In the end I gave up and we went back to our homes. I had to use the whole force of my body to close the door and Toothless came downstairs to help me. He already lit the fire so that I could warm myself up. "I hope Astrid is okay"

(Astrid's POV)

After I opened my eyes I stared at something black. "What is this?" I asked myself. I tried to be as quiet as possible before I knew what was happening. Then I heard a slow and steady breathing sound right next to me.

I turned my head left and saw a black body lying next me slowly expanding and contracting together with the breathing noises. "Toothless?" I asked. No reaction I carefully crawled out from under the wing that covered me.

I looked back only to be hit by realization once again. This dragon looked exactly like Toothless but it didn't have a prosthetic tail fin and it was little bit smaller that Toothless. After closer inspection this dragon also seemed to have a pattern of very very dark blue lightning patterns on her wings.

I carefully stepped back because I didn't want to wake it up. Because I was too focused on the dragon I didn't notice that I was stepping closer and closer to an old tree branch. "Krack" The branch snapped in two making a noise that seemed as loud as a whole tree snapping in half.

The Night Fury half opened it's eyes and made strange noises. After a few seconds it stood up and looked at me.

(Zoya's POV)

""Only five minutes more"" I mumbled as I woke up. As I realized that someone stared at me I turned my head until I saw Astrid. She stared at me. She was heavily breathing and she also looked scared.

As I slowly walked closer to her she hit a tree with her back. I walked up to her until I looked directly into her face. "That looks WAY BETTER than the animation" I said nearly roaring.  I walked a few steps back and just sat down still staring at her.

(Astrid’s POV)

The Night fury just sat there and stared at me with it's blue eyes. It felt like it was inspecting and admiring me. "What did Hiccup do at this time?" I asked myself. I took out my knife. As soon as the dragon saw the blade it started to growl but it stopped immediately as I threw it away. But not only that it started to back away!
