It had been a month since Quinn reincarnated inside someone else's body. The name of the previous owner was also Quinn Robbins, which was too much of a coincidence.
Quinn's only heritage was a small house that he had got after his parents died. In the first days after arriving in that world, Quinn almost starved to death.
The only reason he did not was because of his brilliant idea to share his services with the community.
After one month with no clients, the bell from his store rang, and a man walked in.
"Welcome!" Quinn said as he got up from the couch. A customer entering inside his store was something that never happened before, and it took him by surprise.
The customer was a middle-aged man with a beard and a slick back hair. He wore a suit and had what looked like a cloak.
"Hello, young man. I passed by and saw this new store, and it caught my attention." The man said in a respectful and elegant tone.
Quinn instantly knew it was a man with money, and obviously he would try his best to get that money from him.
"Really? It is just a humble store. There's no reason to be impressed."
The man stopped scanning the place, and looked directly at Quinn. "so, what exactly do you offer here?"
"I'm a specialist in card reading and palm reading."
It looked like the man did not understand what Quinn meant.
"You can say I can know your future and past."
"Oh, is that so?"
They talked for some time, and Quinn got to know the name of that man. It was Sebastian.
What intrigued Quinn was that Sebastian seemed like he was anxious about something.
"You keep looking through the window, Sebastian. Is something wrong?"
"N- no. I'm just admiring the weather. Isn't it nice today?"
"It is, indeed. Well, if you're interested in my services, please, sit." Quinn said, pointing to a table with two chairs, the place where he did his card and palm reading.
Sebastian had strange thoughts in mind after he heard Quinn talking about the way he was acting.
"Does he know something?"
It was not as if Sebastian had anything to lose, so he accepted Quinn's offer.
"Do you want the card reading, palm reading, or both? Each one is priced at 100 White Dinars."
Quinn pumped the price really high, as Sebastian had money, and was also the first client. There was no other price to compare to.
Sebastian tapped his fingers on the table and said, "I'll want both."
It surprised Quinn. Sebastian actually paid that high price for his services, which were a scam.
Sebastian, though, could only think that the service was special after hearing that price.
There was no way an ordinary person would charge that high, not after Sebastian purposely used his mana to intimidate Quinn.
"He's not affected by my mana? That's impossible. I'm a 6th circle mage. Who the hell is this youth?"

Sebastian thought Quinn was so strong his mana had no effect on him, when Quinn could not even sense mana…
They both sat facing each other. Quinn had his deck of cards inside his pocket, so he grabbed it and put it above the table.
There was no deck of cards in that world, like the tarot people could find on Earth. So Quinn used his skills to create his own deck of cards.
It was a good thing he was excellent at drawing, as the cards were so well-made it looked better than the decks one could buy.
"So, tell me, Sebastian. What do you want to know?" Quinn said in a relaxed manner, which made Sebastian sweat cold.
The question was not an easy one to answer. Sebastian entered a deep thought before asking anything.
"He will not answer all of my questions, so I have to think about this carefully." He thought.
Quinn only gazed at him and waited for the questions.
"Will I deal with the stone that is in my way?"
It was something Sebastian wanted to know badly. There was an enemy, one that was chasing him for months now that he needed to deal with.
Quinn listened to it, and grabbed his deck of cards, putting all the cards above the table.
The cards were facing down, and Quinn moved his hand above them, as if he was sensing their energy.
Sebastian watched everything and was even more scared than before.
"Is this deck of cards a treasure so strong I'm unable to sense its power?"
Quinn chose a card and turned it so that Sebastian could see the drawing.
It was a drawing of a man stuck in a swamp, slowly drowning in the muddy waters.
"I can see you're focused on a mission, yet, no matter what you do, you're still unable to find what you're looking for."
When Sebastian heard that, he was even more sure that Quinn was not simple.
The enemy he was facing was an old man linked to the dark arts, and one of the signature spells of that man was the 'Swamp of Demise'.
Quinn did not stop there, and did the same thing as before, choosing one card from the deck.
This time, the card had the drawing of a young lady, who was desperately trying to run away from a cloaked man.
"Sometimes the best way to solve things is to be close to your family, at all times."
Sebastian wanted to get up from the chair, but gathered all of his strength to not do so. He had a daughter, just like the card was showing. Was his enemy trying to kidnap his daughter? That's why Quinn asked him to stay close at all times.
The last card Quinn took had the drawing of a full moon, and a wolf was howling beneath it.
"Maybe this very thing you are looking for had been always right in front of you, yet was too hard for you to see it."
Sebastian analyzed everything Quinn said and concluded that was so obvious he wanted to slap himself.
"Thank you, Mr. Quinn, thank you!" Sebastian bowed, and gave not only 100 White Dinars, but 500.
Sebastian quickly left the store after that, and Quinn said, "but what about your palm reading?"
