I went back and got my spear out of the trap, then continued to follow the goblins' trail until I reached an open area in the woods. I could make out a wall constructed of spiky wood, and there were a few towers with goblins posted on them to keep an eye on the surrounding area.

"So that's their lair," I said with a big smile on my face, like a kid who could see the shape of their desired Christmas present under the Christmas tree.

I made a beeline for the entrance to the village, but it was closed off by a gate. The sky opened up on me and showered me with dozens upon dozens of arrows.

"Ah, fuck" I mumbled under my breath as I swatted away the arrows that were about to hit me.

The onslaught of arrows toward me had momentarily ceased, but I had a feeling that it would start up again very soon.

I have to figure out a way to get into the village.

It was possible for me to use the Flight ability of the Cape of the Dragon Tamer, but I didn't feel comfortable doing so at the moment because I hadn't tested it out first, and I'm not entirely sure how it operates.

As I looked for a way to get inside, I cocked my head to the side and looked around.

I quickly donned the Crescent Moon Hammer, then ran towards the gate that blocked the entrance to the village.

This was no ordinary gate; it was massive and made of thick wood and metal.

I grabbed onto the handle of the Crescent Moon Hammer and prepared to break the gate open.

The Crescent Moon Hammer was a massive weapon that was used for blunt combat. It was significantly bigger than any other axe I'd ever seen in my life.

The head of the hammer was about the same size as my upper body, and the handle was about twice as long as my arms combined.

Aside from the bottom of the handle, which had a pointed edge and some kind of coating in the handle that prevented slipping, its design appeared to be fairly straightforward, it had an overall color of silver, and it did not have an intricate design.

I took a firm hold of the hammer with both hands and began swinging it around, fueled by my resentment toward goblins for what they had done to me earlier in the day. The gate finally gave way and collapsed after being subjected to a few particularly forceful blows.

As I came charging toward them, the goblins inside were taken aback and began to freak out. Goblins that were poorly protected by their armor started fleeing, while others charged me while brandishing weapons and armor.

I swung the Crescent Moon Hammer to deflect arrows and launch goblins that got too close to me into the air.

The goblins had not expected me to be so powerful, and it was evident from their expressions that they were intimidated by my display of strength.

I kept a firm grip on the Crescent Moon Hammer with both of my hands as I advanced forward. I leaped into the air and brought the hammer crashing down on a goblin that was standing directly in front of me halfway through my assault.

Its internal organs and flesh exploded, splattering both me and the goblins that were nearby.

Yuuto yelled, "HAHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY GOD, HOLY SHIT. THAT WAS DIABOLICAL," and laughed with complete and utter pleasure as he observed the mangled corpse of the goblin who had taken a hit from the hammer.

I charged into the group of goblins with a crazed desire for blood, swinging my Crescent Moon Hammer erratically in every direction.

Goblins fell to the ground one after another as the Crescent Moon Hammer slammed into them, and their pieces of armor and weapons lay scattered about the area.

The sheer power of my weapon enabled me to easily kill one goblin after another, rendering the corroded and worn-out weapons and armor that they wore to be completely ineffective.

It did not take long for the ground to become covered in green blood, and scattered across it were a variety of body parts and organs that had been left behind by those who had fallen prior to me.

Yuuto continued his onslaught, using the Crescent Moon Hammer to break through the armor of any goblin that dared to come close.

The goblins were too disorganized to act efficiently, and it was not long before most of them began to flee in desperation.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Yuuto maniacally laughed as he watched the goblins flee in terror.

"You think you can escape from me? I'll find you and make sure you pay for what you did to me!" Yuuto yelled as he chased after the goblins.

Goblins quickly reorganized themselves and came charging at me with renewed vigor after their initial defeat.

I did not let up, and I kept my Crescent Moon Hammer swinging in order to defend myself from their attacks.

As they came into contact with the thick steel shell of my hammer, arrows and swords slashed through the air, causing their owners to let out cries of rage and pain.

I blocked every blow and sidestepped every arrow that was shot in my direction in an effort to buy myself some time so that I could approach the enemy more closely.

After I had gotten within striking distance of them, I swung my hammer wildly in an attempt to hit them.

Another band of goblins was racing towards me at full speed.

I gave the head of the goblin in front of me a good whack with my hammer, causing its skull to crack as it collapsed underneath me and squished the goblin's brain in the process.

I leaped, and while I was in the air, I hurled the hammer with a lot of momentum into the goblin that I could see in my line of sight.

Bang! An explosion of flesh and bones occurred, leaving behind another goblin corpse that had been mangled beyond recognition.

"HAHAHAHA!!" Every time their guts erupted, I couldn't help but laugh. This is so fun.

The hysterical laughter of Yuuto could be heard in the background, along with the shrieks and cries of the goblins.

This was not a battle; it was a one-sided massacre.

Yuuto's hammer had been responsible for the deaths of fifty of the hundred goblins.

The goblins halted their charge and began desperately fleeing the area.

Yuuto went in pursuit of the goblins, but he did not run after them because he was worn out and needed some time to recuperate.

He kept his awareness high and looked in all directions as he walked.

Green blood, bones, eyes, teeth, flesh, armor, and swords were strewn across the ground in every direction. The ground was covered in green blood.
