Chapter 54: Chapter 53: R2 – First Year Bully

School started. There was opening ceremony and then we went to our classes. The teachers introduced themselves like they’re supposed too. Most of the students were well mannered and kept to themselves.

The three of us were in the same year but in different classes. Nathan was on his own and so was Robin, not that it mattered for Robin. She was going to be popular no matter where she went because of how beautiful she was. I feel like she won the genetic lottery for her looks, then you add the fact she’s a foreign beauty they see in mostly in the movies… well, she was popular among her class right as she walked into the door. 

I was considered better looking amongst the Japanese so it wasn’t all bad. Some girls did look my way. None of it mattered because I was with Robin. The fated woman in Europe we had to go see in two years. According to our agreement we wouldn’t sleep with anyone more than once unless it was a fated since we are only looking at it as collecting energy.

I went to first period and second period. The classes were easy since all the subjects were things I had already learned in school. Since I learned Japanese through the special spiritual ability the language classes were simple. History was only a matter of memorizing past events and as someone who memorized many different fictional worlds in the past this was kind of an extension of that.

School was boring and then lunch arrived. Once the bell rang Robin immediately contacted me.

Robin: “Come to the rooftop now, and tell me when you’re here so I can open the door for you.”

I went up the stairs. There was no one on the roof except the two of us. There was a hall monitor but he was easy to avoid. When I got up there I called Robin.

Kevin: “I’m here.”

The door to the school roof opened and Robin who was wearing her school uniform pulled me out before locking the door. She looked great in the uniform, but it wasn’t as overly flashy as you would see in a lot of anime. It was more plain but with a dark blue skirt for the girls and blue slacks for me. There was a school pin and a jacket but overall wasn’t as impressive.

Robin: “You made it, now hurry up and let’s strip.”

Kevin: “Strip? Here?”

Robin: “Rooftop sex.”

Kevin: “Rooftop sex…”

I took a deep breath.

Robin: “You wanted to attend school, I want to have sex in every part of the school imaginable. We should also come here at night and do it in the classrooms.”

Kevin: “I take it this is your goal now.”

Robin: “You know me so well.”

There was no use in arguing with Robin over this. I undressed myself so we can have our fun on the rooftop during the lunch hour.

The lunch hour came and Nathan was walking around looking for Kevin. He had noticed classmates of his eyeing Robin. Many hadn’t met a foreign girl from America before, and to find one who was blonde with blue eyes and a body that stood out from the uniform made a lot of them begin to talk to each other. Robin’s breasts were large and the bulge on her chest was noticeable under the buttoned shirt.

Robin was someone the guys in this school dreamed of. Nathan could only sigh at it because he knew she was already taken by Kevin whom he called aniki. Secretly he also wished he could be with her but resolved himself not to look at Robin as anything more than his sister-in-law.

Nathan took the bento Kevin had prepared in the morning and was sitting down to eat it by himself when a large male classmate walked up to him. That classmate was called Daichi and there were several other boys with him.  Nathan felt a chill come over him when Otsuki Daichi approached with a smug grin.

Daichi: “Oi… Takashi!”

It was an informal address.

Nathan: “Otsuki-san, hello! Is there something you need help with?”

Daichi: “You need to pay me or you might get hurt.”

The sudden threat made Nathan uneasy and it took him by surprise. He didn’t think something like this would happen at a prestigious high school. Daichi continued to smile as he stared down the smaller boy.

Nathan: “You… but why? Aren’t we classmates?”

Daichi: “Classmates need to pay for protection. My friends here don’t work for free.”

Nathan couldn’t believe the scenario he had seen in anime and thought was completely fictional was now happening. He was also the one being bullied. Standing up to bullies was always what the instructions on the internet said to do.

Nathan: “No, I’m not going to Otsuki-san. If you hurt me then I’ll report you to the teachers.”

Daichi smiled as two of the bullies from behind stepped forward and grabbed Nathan. They dragged him to the bathroom while two others looked to make sure no one was watching. They scared off one of the students who was talking by telling them to mind their own business 

There Nathan tried to struggle calling for help but no one wanted to get involved. In the bathroom he was taken down to a stall and saw his food being thrown down the toilet.

Daichi: “If you don’t pay we flush your head.”

Nathan didn’t know how to respond. He was frightened and took out the money he had in his pocket that his parents had sent him. Nathan giving the money felt painful because he saw how hard his parents worked to earn it, but he didn’t know what else to do because he didn’t want to be bullied.

Daichi: “You took too long to get it out.”

The bullies started kicking Nathan as he was knocked to the ground before leaving him in the bathroom.

Robin and Kevin finished up on the rooftop. Robin decided to go out the side of the building to return since there were people in the stairwell currently and she didn’t want the school to think about them being up there on their own. Rumors could spread quickly, but if they wanted to enjoy their school life for a little bit then it was better not to spread them now.

Kevin would remain on the rooftop eating his lunch now that they were spent. Robin dipped down and moved to the hallway. Using her senses she found that Nathan was in the boys bathroom and on the ground. She waited near the entrance as she saw Nathan was gathering himself up before coming out and when she saw him she approached him.

Robin: “Nathan, what happened. Why do you have bruises?”

There were bruises on his stomach and abdomen. Robin wasn’t sure what to think because she didn’t think Nathan would get targeted on the first day. She didn’t think there would be bullying like there was in the United States.

Nathan: “It’s nothing. Please don’t worry about me Robin-San. I hope you and aniki study hard and have an enjoyable school life.”

Nathan walked off without giving Robin a chance to say anything more. She sent Kevin a telepathic message.

Robin: “Kevin, I think your ‘brother’ is being bullied. He had his money taken from him and it doesn’t appear as if he ate your lunch. I could sense his stomach being hungry.”

There was a pause before Kevin responded as Robin relayed that sentence. Then Kevin answered.

Kevin: “I’m still stuck on this rooftop for now because there are people in the stairwell and I’m not supposed to be up here. Can you try and find out who it is?”

Robin: “Sure. If I can’t then you should talk with Nathan when you get back. We’ll put our sexcapades on hold until we figure this out.”

Robin started walking down the hall as class was over. She followed Nathan who appeared to be a complete loner as he went to go sit in class. There she saw Otsuki Daichi with several of the larger boys in the first year hanging around him. When Nathan walked near them his gaze hit the floor and experience told Robin those were the people bullying him.

Daichi looked at the doorway and saw Robin standing there. Immediately after seeing the beautiful foreign girl he got up and moved over to her with a smile on his face.

Daichi: “Hello pretty girl!”

He spoke in poor English so Robin responded on Japanese.

Robin: “I speak Japanese so you don’t need to use your horrible English to talk to me.”

Daichi: “Oh! This is so great that you can speak this language. It is hard to use the world beautiful in english as I don’t know it but I can learn!”

Daichi was making a move on Robin without hesitation and Robin noticed that Nathan was staring over but still afraid. It was obvious Nathan wanted to protect her but was still afraid of what Daichi might do. Daichi was normal however.

Robin: “I see so you think I’m beautiful.”

Daichi: “Yes, beautiful blonde girl!”

Daichi’s henchmen men started to surround Robin. She didn’t feel threatened because out of the entire school there was only one person whom she felt as an awakened fighter. Everyone else was normal. Daichi was certainly tall and past 187 centimeters tall. Those around him were tall as well. She still didn’t feel threatened, but decided to try and make a statement.

Robin: “I came to see my boyfriend’s brother Rachi Takashi.”

Robin looked over at the desk and waved.

Robin: “Takashi-san! Your animi says to walk home with him after school. Please meet us at the school gate alright?”

Robin waved at Nathan who didn’t respond at all, she then bowed to Daichi and walked out while they had their jaws dropped stunned. Daichi then walked over with his group to Nathan who sat at the desk intimidated while the other students tried to mind their own business.

Daichi: “Your brother is that foreign beauty’s boyfriend? You need to tell us more.”

Daichi had an angry smile on his face as he stood over Nathan.

I finally found my way off the rooftop as the classes picked up again. I got to class and sat down as the teacher began with the introduction and first lesson. I hadn’t gotten to know any of my classmates yet since this was still the first day, and already there was concern for Nathan.

Kevin: “I made it to class on time. What happened with Nathan?”

Robin: “He was getting bullied and I put a target on your back after going into the class and claiming I was your boyfriend.”

Kevin: “You did what?”

Robin: “The girls in class already heard it and are asking me who you are and who Nathan’s brother is. They think you’re some tall and handsome prince.”

Kevin: “You want me to fight don’t you? Well I only sensed one awakened fighter in school so far so as long as it’s not one of them you won’t have to lift a finger.”

Robin: “Oh, it’s not one of them so don’t worry.”

Kevin: “I’m not worrying.”

Robin: “Just be ready for what happens after school. You kept in pretty good shape this time around so I’m at least a little relieved. With the super perception you have it should be a walk in the park.”

I could only sigh at the statement. It wasn’t like I was going to die and as long as one of us survived we could still continue to gather energy until the end.

Kevin: “I’m going to gather some information from my classmates about who Otsuki Daichi is in the mean time.”

Robin: “He’s the son of some gangster.”

Kevin: “You already knew?”

Robin: “The gossiping girls in class told me. They already knew about it.”

Kevin: “I see… well then I’ll just be prepared to kick some ass after school then.”

Robin: “That’ll be fun to watch. I hated that smirk on Daichi’s face.”
