Chapter 54: Increased Bounty

Big news Morgan was sitting in his office. Then his den den mushi rang. He picked up the den den mushi and from the other side of den den mushi, he could hear the conversation between Doflamingo and Sengoku. And when he heard the recording he was very happy and excited. 

Then the person from the other side of the phone said "This is the recording between Warlord Doflamingo and Sengoku. And the reason why akaniu lost his eye is that during his confrontation with the thunder pirates he got bested he lost his eye to the hand of Rabin" 

"And the vice admirals who went with Akainu were also killed by Thunder pirates. And if not for the intervention of CP0 members Akainu would have died that day. And nearly a week before his confrontation with akainu, he had a little run-in with Kizaru, and the only reason kizaru was able to survive that because of the timely intervention of Mihawk" 

Then Morgan said, "May I know your name gentleman, just so I could be sure that the news is coming from a reliable source." The person from the other side of the phone said "You don't need to know my name or anything about me, and if you don't trust me then don't publish the news." The other person hung up the call after saying that.

Morgan laughed and thought I am a journalist, how can I not publish news this big. Morgan had heard Rabin's name when his reporter first reported him about Rabin killing three of the vice admiral. He immediately became interested in him and sent one of his best reporters to loguetown to report on the exchange that took place between the marines and the thunder pirates at loguetown.

He wanted the reporter to follow the Thunder Pirates but the ship of the thunder pirates was far gone and the reporter could not follow them. After a week or so he got a report saying that Kizaru was injured but he did not know who injured him so Morgan didn't publish this news and he ignored it. 

But he could not ignore the news when he heard that Akainu had lost an eye, again he didn't know who did that. He had not focused on the four blues and some parts of paradise that much because nothing much would happen there, but now he really regretted doing so after all two marines Admirals were injured and many Vice admirals were killed and he didn't know who did all of that.

He had a slight suspicion that it was Rabin and his crew, but he didn't think he was capable of injuring two admirals and killing many Vice admirals. So he just posted an article saying the rise of new power and in this article, he mentions someone unknown, injuring two Admirals and killing many vice admirals. 

He also searched for Rabin after that incident to find out if Rabin had done all that, but sadly for him, Rabin had already reached Sky Island and he could not find him. Since then he had increased focus on the four blues and Paradise. And when Rabin came back and defeated Mihawk he got the report as it was happening and he immediately published it.

He asked his reporter to follow and spy upon the thunder pirates but his reporter was easily killed. He sent few more people to spy on him but they all would end up dead. So he had stopped spying on Thunder Pirates. He was frustrated about it but there was nothing he could do about it.

Because he could not spy on Thunder Pirates he didn't see the interaction between doflamingo and Rabin. Because of all these reasons he was sure the man on the phone was not lying and telling the complete truth. So he immediately published the news of what happened and wrote a headline reading Fifth Emperor of the sea Thunder Eyes Rabin.

Then he listed all the things Rabin has done and he also wrote the whole conversation between Doflamingo and Sengoku. This News immediately shocked the world it traveled like wildfire. Many people were arguing whether he deserved the title of the emperor or not because he didn't have his own territory, he didn't have a big crew, and most importantly he had not even entered New World yet.

Golden Lion Shiki saw this and said "What kind of bullshit is this, He just had some luck and a small brat like him considered an Emperor." Then he looked towards one of his men and said "Find him I need to bring that brat down a little." 

Shanks was drinking shake when one of his crew came and showed him the news, he saw this and said "Fifth emperor Eh." Then he ignored it and went back to drinking.

Kaido looked at the News and said "Let's give him a visit after he enters the new world." Big mom also didn't agree with Rabin being crowned the fifth emperor. She said, "The brat has not even entered the new world and is considered an emperor, ridiculous." Whitebeard Looked at this and said, "It's still too early for the kid to be crowned an emperor."

Blackbeard saw this and laughed saying interesting. Currently, Sengoku was in a lot of trouble. The news of marines having to need the help of warlords just to deal with a single pirate leaked out along with the news of marines suffering many defeats from the hand of Rabin also got out which dropped the prestige of the marines by a lot.

Sengoku was very with the Morgan for publishing this news, but he could not do anything to him. And now all this information had come out Sengoku was forced to Increase the bounty of Rabin again. So he contacted the five elders to ask for their suggestion. The elders all agreed to increase his bounty to 1.5 Billion beli.
