Chapter 16: Chapter 15 ~ a dialogue

"Flora, you have a pretty name too, by the way. May I ask where I am?"

The girls remained silent and didn't answer her question, and then Violet added to her speech;

"I must go back to my father quickly! He may die of illness."

Flora looked down, she couldn't tell Violet where they were now, and unlike her, Temari said calmly;

"We are in a place from which we cannot escape, we are now prisoners on a pirate ship"

Violet looked at Temari with a look of surprise on her face, then said;

"Pirates?"

Violet began to remember the times her father used to talk to her about pirates and the navy.

For Violet, she understood it as if the Navy were the police, and the pirates were the thieves and criminals.

That's why when she heard the word pirates, she only thought of one thing.

'I'm in the monster's den'

Violet got up and started walking towards the door of the room, and when she reached it, she started hitting it with her hands.

Flora raised her head, with a look of melancholy on her face and said in a desperate tone;

"Please stop, don't make things worse than they are."

Temari looked at Flora, feeling a little pity for her, though her expression was the same as usual. then she said;

"It seems to me that you have been on this ship for a long time. Are you a member of this crew too?"

When Violet heard those words, she stopped banging on the door, and slowly turned towards Flora. Then Flora said as she was looking down;

"Member of this crew? This is a joke that makes me cry, not laugh."

Violet walked over to Flora, and when she reached her, she sat across from her, and put her hand on Flora's shoulder and said with a smile;

"I still don't understand what's going on or where I am. I don't know you well, and I don't know Temari well either. But you can count on me, I promise you we'll get out of here soon."

Flora raised her head and looked straight into Violet's eyes. then she said;

"Yes, I also said the same thing to my little brother years ago when we were put in this damned cell. Listen to me, beautiful eyes' girl, you have to accept reality. Now your lives will be torture just like mine."

The optimistic look on Violet's face turned to one of sadness. But she wasn't sad about being in this place, she was sad because of the words Flora had said.

Violet couldn't ask Flora about her brother, she wanted to avoid reminding her of him because he might be a sad memory for her.

Violet remained silent, not knowing how to answer Flora's words, and then they all heard the sound of two people coming near the door of the room.

"Damn, that hurts so much!"

"You should clean your blood from the wooden floor when that whore treats you."

"Do I look like I'm in a good mood to clean the floor? Hurry up and open the door, I'm in so much pain, I don't want to lose more blood."

"Don't order me, it's your fault that you allowed the weak villagers to stab you."

"I told you he betrayed me, he came from behind and I didn't notice"

"Man, you are hopeless."

There was a man injured in his thigh, he was bleeding a lot. And next to him is his friend who helps him walk.

His friend opened the cell door, and a look of surprise appeared on his face, then he said smiling;

"How long have we had so many pretty girls on the ship?"

The injured person sighed and He said while stammering his speech because of the pain;

"Focus on what we came here for. If my foot hadn't been hurt, the captain wouldn't have let me into this room. Don't even think about touching one of these girls. I don't want the captain to feed me to sharks because of your stupidity."

"I know. I know. Anyway, let's start therapy now."

The injured person looked at Flora and said in a hoarse voice;

"Healing whore, hurry up and do your job."

Features of anger appeared on Flora's face, she stood up and said;

"I have already healed someone today. So you have to wait until tomorrow."

Flora was quite sure that those men would not be persuaded by her words, so she looked at Temari and then turned to Violet and said;

"This is none of your business, don't get involved!" Then she took two steps forward.

Violet opened her mouth a little, she wanted to say something, anything, but she didn't know or understand what was going on.

As for Temari, she wasn't looking at Flora or at the two men, her gaze was limited to Violet, she was waiting for Violet's reaction. In better terms, she wanted to know whether Violet was going to kill these two men or not.

After Flora's words, the injured man became very angry and said while panting;

"You want me to put up with this pain for a whole day? Are you crazy? It seems to me that you've changed a lot, Healing whore. You're speaking so confidently this time? Do you think you can refuse my request so easily?"
