Back at Sora's residence
After Sora finished off the three fallen angels and cleaned up his mess at the church he reactivated his first seal and took Asia back to his home. The ritual was 90% completed when he arrived and most of her life force had been damaged while they tried extracting her sacred gear. It was almost too late for anyone to help her.
Almost
Sora hooked her up with an IV which pumped some of his blood into her, stabilizing her life force and enhancing her recovery. As Sora cleaned her from all the dirt and other bile she had to endure, Ea spoke to him.
"Why did you release the first seal Sora? You could have killed them just fine without exposing your powers." Ea asked curiously.
"It's simple Ea, the same reason I left Raynare barely alive to deliver my message. I wanted Rias to know it was me." He said with a smug grin.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because now she will set her sights on recruiting me no matter what, now that I killed three fallen angels single-handed." He said as he changed his shirt materializing new clothes. "That's why I had to erase all the unnecessary messes in the basement. I want them to desire me, not fear me."
"Because then she would think you're too dangerous to join her peerage?" She asked
"Exactly, I need her to want me in her peerage if my plans are to continue to the next stage." He started as he finished changing. "But thankfully she'll be so desperate about her engagement that she'll make dumb mistakes. Mistakes I will capitalize on." He said grinning.
"So what's next?" Asked Ea
"Next we...." Before Sora could continue, Asia had woken up and, scared, tried to pull the IV out.
Sora quickly retrained her and calmed her down, preventing her from pulling it out. He explained that it was healing her and would heal the damage the angels had inflicted on her. After she relaxed Sora left to cook her some food to help her recover and left the room. Asia sat there bewildered at the view of the gorgeous room and the soft bed she was laying in.
It had been forever since she stayed in such a comfortable room, not since she was exiled from the church. She kept running through her head what had happened and what led her to being in this strange boys bed. She remembered getting chained up to a cross by Raynare and then performing some weird spell on her. Then she slowly felt the life fade and drained from her body but just before she lost consciousness she called out to Sora for help.
"He really came." She said breaking out into tears of joy/sadness. "He kept his promise and saved me."
She looked over the IV sticking out of her arm and the strange red liquid being pumped into that was making her feel better.
"Was this boy some kind of doctor?" She wondered. "He seems awfully young." She continued to have such cute innocent thoughts even after experiencing something so horrible.
She kept wondering why he came and helped her. It just didn't make sense when Sora returned to the room wearing a pink apron and carrying a tray. On the tray was fresh baked bread and soup along with some green juice for a drink. Asia was taken back by the nice smell and the abilities of the boy to cook.
"Um your Sora right?" Asked Asia nervously.
"That's right, don't tell me you've forgotten me already huh." He said giving her a gentle smile.
Asia blushed at the kind gesture and him setting the food down in her lap for her to eat.
"So you came and rescued me from those fallen angels right?" She asked.
"That's right they won't be bothering you ever again I can promise you that." He said, giving her a confident look.
"Why?" She asked
"Why what?" He responded confused.
"Why go through all the trouble for me? Why put yourself in danger for someone like me?" She asked, ready to cry.
"Oh that why huh." He responded, closing his eyes and nodding his head as if he were contemplating something. "Well that's actually easy to answer, because I promised you I wouldn't." He said looking her in the eyes with seriousness.
Asia just became silent stunned by his proclamation.

"But why me? I'm nothing special. Why put yourself in danger for some exile like me?" She asked, looking down as she spoke poorly of herself.
"Don't you dare say that!" Sora yelled at her.
She became stunned by his sudden attitude.
"You are one of the purest kindest souls I have ever met don't ever dishonor yourself by talking like that, do you hear me!" He continued grabbing her shoulders.
"But why!?" She yelled back. "Why do you think so highly of me? We barely know each other!" She yelled back at him.
Sora calmed down and lessened his grip on her shoulders.
"I could see into your soul the day we met Asia that's why." He responded with a calm soothing voice. " I have never seen such a kind serene soul in all of my life so of course I would help protect it."
Asia was ready to burst into tears at the strange boy's kind words but kept them back feeling like she didn't have the right to cry.
"But I have nothing now. The fallen angels were my only sanctuary, now that they are gone as you say I have nowhere to go." She said, wiping a tear from her eye.
"That's not true Asia." He responded petting her hair gently. "You have me, you can stay with me and together we can be a family." He said soothingly for her.
Asia turned red up to her ears at the boy's remark. She fantasizes about one day finding a home where she would be safe, and have a real family but she never thought it would actually happen.
"I can't impose on you like that." She said fidgeting trying to hide her embarrassment. "You've already done enough for me. I couldn't possibly ask for more."
"Asia I think your misunderstanding something." He said leaning in closer to her much to Asia embarrassment. "I'm not doing this out of some obligation. I'm doing this because I want to, that's all there is to it."
"Really?" She asked. "You're not going to kick me out later are you."
"Of course not, I would never do that." He said, hugging her head into his wide chest. "Like I told you before you're beyond special Asia, you are precious, and you have to protect that which is precious." He said as he held her.
Asia finally broke down at the boy's kind words and started to weep uncontrollably in his embrace. He rocked her back and forth like a baby until she finally calmed down. After she finished crying, she offered her a handkerchief to wipe her face.
"Will you really be my family and stay with me always?" She asked innocently.
"Of course from here on out I'm your family." He said "I'll always protect you and you just need to forget all about the church and those fallen angels. He said as he hugged her tight in his embrace.
Asia melted into his warm embrace feeling the strength and care behind it.
"From now on, devote yourself to our family and to me alone. Can you do that?" He asked not releasing her from his arms.
"Yes I swear I'll give my all to you from now on Sora to you and our family." She said smiling as she buried her head into his powerful chest.
"Good, that's the right answer, Asia." He said.
What Asia couldn't see was the ear to ear devilish grin appearing on Sora's face and the overlapping visage in his hug with that of a python coiling around its prey. Gripping it in its tight embrace before the snake devours it.
"*Phase 2 complete Ea*" He thought proudly. "*Make preparations for phase 3.*"
"*Yes master Sora.*" Ea complied.
