Ye-Tian stared at the translucent screen with a curious gaze as the system suddenly assigned him the quest related to cultivation.

"It means I still have a chance at cultivating normally." Ye-Tian muttered.

Ye-Tian wasn't worried about becoming strong because he knew that with the system's help he could get stronger by leaps and bounds but that process was tasteless in Ye-Tian's eyes.

Who would want to continuously rely on a system for getting stronger when he could experience those mystical powers which he had read in those novels.

 

The cultivation was a unique process of absorbing the power of nature for oneself's ascension, the cultivation was all about going against the heaven's will.

And this was the true path of cultivation which Ye-Tian wanted to follow, so obviously he was happy knowing that there was still a chance.

"Little white, let's live together for an eternity." Ye-Tian said as he closed his eyes and started snoring like a pig meanwhile Little white was still curled up in the corner.

The Next Morning.

Ye-Tian was checking the system's setting as the cranky little child voice was still not back so he decided to check himself.

After some moments he gave up and started searching the cottage for any useful thing he could find in there to take with him but unexpectedly there was nothing worth a penny.

"Oye system, can't you give me something nice to wear?" Ye-Tian said as his white robe had already turned black from white.

Ding.

« The system shop will be opened after certain requirements are met »

"Oh, so there is something like that too." Ye-Tian smiled as he saw the notification.

"But what are those requirements?"

"What! Is that a dot language system? Was I supposed to learn that language before transmigrating?" Ye-Tian said sarcastically as he gazed at an empty reply.

"Let's go little white we can't stay here any longer." Ye-Tian kneeled near the snake and extended his hand toward it.

Hissssss.

Little white gradually slithered on top of his shoulder and hid 90% of its body in Ye-Tian's clothes.

"Nice trick, Little white." Ye-Tian smiled while rubbing its scales.

Creek…

Ye-Tian slowly pushed open the door and stepped outside.

The sun was brilliantly shining its warm light on the plans while people of Hóngyè village were busy in their normal routine.

Ye-Tian who was just a piece of trash without any young master's title attached to it was completely worthless in village people's eyes.

His presence was completely ignored now as he wasn't being humiliated by anyone which was a no fun show to watch.

"I should eat something first." Ye-Tian thought as he hadn't eaten anything from yesterday but as the village didn't have any shop for the beverage he gradually walked out of the village border.

After walking some distance he saw a wooden shop in the wilderness and the smell of some delicacy attracted his attention so he hurriedly walked toward it.

"Today is your lucky day, shop owner." Ye-Tian muttered and sat down on the table placed outside the shop.

"Boss one plate of dumplings please." Ye-Tian ordered while taking out the gold coin from the system.

The shop owner raised his head and observed Ye-Tian for a moment and then sighed heavily as he placed two dumplings on the plate.

'Why is my luck so bad?' Thought the shop owner when he saw Ye-Tian's clothing.

Ye-Tian currently looked like a hungry thug which obviously disappointed the shop owner as he was here to do business but he also knew that if he did something unnecessary it would only bring back many problems which he can't possibly handle.

Picking up the small plate, the shop owner walked outside and placed it in front of Ye-Tian dissheartedly.

"Thanks boss." Ye-Tian said while tossing the gold coin in the air.

The shop owner bewildered for a second gazed at the Gold coin which hovered in the air for a second and two and then it fell on the ground.

He hurriedly kneeled down and picked up the coin while the frown on his face disappeared completely and a respectful smile took its place.

"Huh" Ye-Tian confusedly stared at the shop owner who was smiling like a crazy person.

"Boss, do you have milk by any chance?"  Ye-Tian asked, still knowing that the chances were slim.

"Yes, yes I have it, how much do you need?"  The shop owner said respectfully.

"One glass would be enough." Ye-Tian replied after a thought.

He didn't know if little white would drink milk or not so wasting it would be unnecessary.

After bowing toward Ye-Tian hurriedly entered the shop and came back with a glass of milk and placed it in front of him.

“ Little white ”

Said Ye-Tian which confused the shop owner but soon he was shocked out of his wits as he saw a snake coming out of Ye-Tian's robes.

'I-is senior, disciple of the poison sect?' The shop owner thought, as the poison sect was infamous for experimenting on humans for their poison knowledge expansion.

 

While the shop owner was having weird thoughts about the poison sect, Ye-Tian and Little white were completely focused on their meal.

Picking up the chopsticks, Ye-Tian picked up the dumpling and took a bite from it.

The heavenly aroma and chilliness electrolyzed his tongue as tears started rolling down his eyes as he breathed out a steam of air.

"Delicious." Ye-Tian thought and started savouring the rest of the dumpling like a hungry wolf.

"Boss, one more plate of dumplings." Ye-Tian shouted while rubbing his stomach.

"Y-Yes." The shop owner rushed inside the shop as to not offend Ye-Tian by letting him wait.
