After filling his stomach with dumplings Ye-Tian stood up and stepped inside the rigid shop as he had some queries to ask.

"Boss, by any chance do you know any town called Jingshén?" Ye-Tian asked from behind the wooden kitchen Table.

'Jingshén Town, is the senior indirectly asking about the zhànshi sect?'

'But that sect is much more powerful than this senior could handle.'

The shop owner's thoughts sailed toward excessive things like a typical face-slapping novel's character.

But as the shop owner was feeling grateful for the one gold coin which he had received from Ye-Tian, that gold coin alone could support his family for one month so he felt that he should make him aware of some facts as Ye-Tian looked quite young in his eyes.

"Senior if you're planning on going to that town you should know that Jingshén Town is protected by many powerful families and the zhànshi sect is also there." The shop owner explained hoping Ye-Tian would get his hint.

While the Shop owner followed his background setting Ye-Tian was grinning because of his good luck and how easily he found out the location.

After acquiring some further information Ye-Tian bid him farewell and continued on his journey.

The duo of snake and human boy could be seen walking through the Barren lands but unexpectedly there was no one to see that sight.

"Oh, am I seeing a pond?" Ye-Tian exclaimed as he saw water in the barren land.

This Little pond was enclosed by a mountainside from three flanks making it appear like a scene coming out of a a portrait.

Without frittering any moment Ye-Tian Darted toward the pond, the water of the pond was crystal clear and Ye-Tian could see his complexion in the water.

He had a pale oval face while his blue eyes were as profound as the sea and his hair was as lengthy as some protagonist of a novel would have.

Ye-Tian jumped in the water after taking his attire and putting Little white on the land.

"Ahhh, so refreshing." Ye-Tian moaned as the cold water soothed his soul.

After bathing for a long time in the dawn breeze a sudden thought struck his mind.

Out of nowhere, Ye-Tian started swimming toward the flank of the mountains in hopes of discovering something, and after some minutes of swimming, he reached ashore.

Ye-Tian nakedly stepped out of the water as he had left his clothes on the other side of the pond.

"Little white enjoys the bath, I'll join you back in some moments," Ye-Tian shouted as he saw the Little snake drifting toward him.

The mountainside was covered in darkness as the sun's illumination couldn't break through the Mountains.

Ye-Tian carefully started searching for a cave to continue his practice for cultivation as he suddenly recalled a certain technique that the infamous villain of this novel used for cultivation.

This cultivation technique was one of the Hidden treasures of that novel and because that villainous character was quite crucial in the novel that fella had his own chapters.

"Here you are." Ye-Tian exclaimed as he found the cave's entrance.

Ye-Tian scanned the surroundings for the last time and gradually stepped inside.

The cave was quite enormous from how it looked on the outside, the cave was filled with darkness so Ye-Tian used his god's eyes to check for any suspicious creature as he didn't want to take any chance of dying.

Ye-Tian gradually took a 360° turn in the cave while inspecting it but his godly eyes didn't pick up any unusual creature's activity.

"Okay then let's start." Ye-Tian said as he rubbed his feet on the ground as he didn't want to encounter any oops moments.

After confirming everything Ye-Tian picked up a stone that he found nearby and made a cut on his fingertip.

Warm blood gushed out of his fingertip and he started feeling the warm sensation on his hands, bearing the pain Ye-Tian carefully drew a Circle around him whose radius led to his feet.

Now that the first step was done Ye-Tian sat down in the Lotus position between the circle, positioned his hands high up to his navel, and started following the breathing technique precisely.

For a moment or so nothing happened, Ye-Tian was about to think of himself as a fool but suddenly a cold wind gushed inside the cave, freezing everything in a mere moment.

The blood's Circle started glowing in the crimson light which then rushed to Ye-Tian's flesh, the moment it touched him, his nerves/meridians started glowing in the red.

"Argggg."

An ear-piercing scream echoed in the dark cave as an intense wave of energy rushed inside Ye-Tian meridians.

Ye-Tian felt like his body was about to burst any given moment now as something was changing inside of him which he clearly couldn't see or feel.

But all that Ye-Tian could do now was to bear that suffocating pain as his mind was constantly reminding him that if he fell unconscious here, all of his dreams as otaku of becoming immortal and flying on the sword were going to vanish with him.

"Uarrghh." 

Ye-Tian let out a howl as he tried to calm down the rampaging energy coursing through his meridians.

But it wasn't that easy as it was way out of Ye-Tian's control.
