Chapter 2: Prologue: The beginning

[ A/N : The dialogue until chapter 6 is kind of weird so I'll clear it up to make it tolerable.

So don't be confused if I put the mc's name instead of "I" when it is supposed to be in 1rst person. ]

 

Within a white room with a desk and infinite cabinets sits a man with an appearance that looks like the default design for humans, yes, he is a completely average person without even the slightest amount of uniqueness in his appearance. If he wasn't a godlike being with the ability to create an ideal dimension for any mortal he meets then you wouldn't even notice him. His name is Z-1,204,897 he is one of many copies of him designed to do exactly this. Make a deal with a mortal and take his memories and emotions as payment with the small bonus of receiving the entertainment of watching their next life.

"Ah, it feels great to watch this one. Might give her a few extra presents because she looks adorable with her new sister" he says with a smile

A bell pops up in front of him and rings.

"Another human… Let's do it then hehehe" he comments

A white and slightly transparent silhouette of a woman appears on a chair in front of him.

"Welcome Catherine, you are in what you would call purgatory," he says with a smile.

"What are you?" she asks curiously

"I don't know myself, but to you, I am simply incomprehensible. You will identify me with something out of your imagination" he replies.

"Okay?" she says confused

"Anyway, that doesn't matter right now. You have three choices, heaven or hell, soul furnace, and ideal reincarnation." He offered.

"Oh! Ideal reincarnation!" she beams with excitement.

"Just fill in this paper" he chuckles while snapping his finger.

Seeing the paper and pen in front of her she immediately started writing down what she wants.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Same height and proportions as Shaltear in terms of the body, hair reaches down to her heels, bright red eyes, Shiro's(NGNL) facial appearance.

Origins: In this version of that world they had extra resources to make one more overpowered NPC, they drew straws and whoever drew the short straw would make it. Peroronchino drew the shortest straw and immediately got to work on his next NPC. Not everyone was satisfied though, so instead of working alone, he decided that everyone should work together on her role and personality after he finishes her appearance. And after 3 weeks of indecisiveness, she was finally complete.

Perks: Knowledge of all magic in the game / Calming aura / Loved by evil / Knowledge of all eldrich or demonic rituals / Spatial magic mastery affinity. (These perks are applied without having to exist in the game)

"Finished!" she comments cheerfully

He reads through it and nods with appreciation.

"There's a price for everything though" he replies as he snaps his fingers again.

Appearance, origins, and items: All memories of yourself except those of you watching Overlord and your feelings for the characters.

Perks: Knowledge of magic and rituals = Uncontrollable childish curiosity in everything / Calming aura = Only works on those who like you / Loved by evil = When someone breaks a certain threshold of evil it will turn into obsession / Spatial affinity and mastery = only able to use teleportation, portals, pocket dimension, and spatial sense.

"Oh, I wanted to delete people with it" she whined sadly

"Hahaha! I know, but it ain't happening I made sure you don't make it boring for yourself. Trust me, people who take themselves too strong just end up having sex with a bunch of people and creating harems. You'll have some fun this way. At least you can finally meet that person." He replies

"Oh right, I just can't wait to meet her! When do I leave though?" She asks

"Right now," He says as he pulls up a massive bat with a dog's face carved on the top.

"What are you doing?" she asks nervously but only receives a smile?

Suddenly he brings it down on her head with all his strength. Sending her away into the body of a cute-looking vampire in an empty room.
