Chapter 8: Chapter 7: Awaken,Shiny Constellation Guardian Taurus ! (6)

At Nozomi's house, a few minutes ago.

Now looking at the kitchen in front of her, Nozomi found her brother Teinei Nakagawa already chewing his food, brown hair, green eyes, wearing casual clothing. Every time they start a conversation it always ends up with them butting heads about something.

She went straight to her room upstairs, feeling way more tired than hungry at the moment. And also really not in the mood for her brat of younger brother's annoyances.

When inside, she dropped her school bag to the floor and went straight to bed and laid there, enjoying all its confort.

"I'll just rest a little, I still have to eat the food mom left for dinner..."

After a few seconds, she began to feel sleepy, until...

"Hey, wake up !"

An unfamiliar voice said, Nozomi then opened her eyes in surprise, then she looked around to see where the voice came from.

"Down here"

Said the unfamiliar voice now sounding a little annoyed, when she looked down she saw that same dog from before with the same golden star birthmark on it's forehead, but now looking like a small puppy.

"There you go, first things first i would like to thank you for taking that band-aid off my forehead, now let me- Hey ! Don't go back to sleep !"

The puppy then jumped onto her bed and bit her leg, then letting it go when she suddenly flailed in pain, putting her hands where the dog bit it.

"Ouch ! What was that for !"

Nozomi said while a few tears were starting to appear from her eyes.

"This is not a dream, my name is Seiza, and i was looking for you, here take this."

Suddenly, the puppy made an yellow flash of light come out of it's birthmark, making Nozomi close her eyes in reflex, when she opened them she saw floating an sparkly star shaped pendant made out of bronze, with what looked to be an bull sign inscribed at the center of it.

"Wow..."

Tooking the pendant she got out of bed and tried it on the mirror, momentarily forgetting about the pain caused by the puppy's bite, having now an big smile plastered on her face.

"Listen, the world is now in danger, even right now as we speak the creatures of darkness are committing crimes with no one the wiser, and I need your help to protect this world and make sure that they don't get the [Crystal of Darkness] !"

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say."

Nozomi continues to be occupied with the pendant, either not paying attention or not taking the words from Seiza seriously.

Then a bright light appeared again, this time from the pendant, caughting Nozomi by surprise.

"Hey, what's happening ? The pendant is shining !"

The dog then smiles, now confident that she will now pay attention to what it's saying for once.

"Feeling like paying attention now ? Now say, by the power of the constellations, transform"

Nozomi then became in shock for a moment, with information about everything about it, filling her whole being with confidence, she then raised her right hand up in the air like it was trying to reach the ceiling, while holding the pendant with her left hand close to her chest.

"By the power of the constellations, transform !"

Nozomi is them engulfed by the light coming from the pendant, lingering for a moment, when the light fades it reveals her now with an well-kept, white silver long hair, instead of her messy, blonde short-hair, her black school uniform turning fully white with a hint of silver, while also turning her black school shoes into white ones, the pendant that she was holding disappears, turning into an bronze tiara with two small horns in the front with an white gem in between them, that's now putted on her head, her blue eyes turning into silvery ones that emit a faint white light.

"W-what ?"

She then looks around wondering what happened until she sees herself in the mirror, then being blown away by her new appearance.

While Nozomi is occupied with looking at her new look, the white gem on her head starts shining a bright red light, showing what appears to be a screen showing some kind of humanoid with feline features stalking a familiar human on a familiar street.

"What's this thing ? And why is it following Yoshino ?"

Seiza gasps, then looks at Nozomi with a determined look.

"These were the ones I told you about ! If we aren't quick enough they might hurt her"

Nozomi nods, them both exit the room, but not before Nozomi looking from both sides to make sure that she isn't seem, luckily, no one's is around, with no source of lights on the hallway except the little light coming from her brother's room below the door's floor gap, his room being the most far from her's so he most likely didn't hear her.

After carefully moving downstairs and exiting through the door and closing it without making any sound, they proceeded to run straight ahead for a few seconds.

"Stop, this isn't gonna be fast enough, hold me !"

Nozomi did as she was told, and they both started to slowly get off the ground until they started to get far from the ground, now going to their destination faster and without any obstacles in the way.

"I have a few tricks like this up my sleeve, but I need to concentrate for them to work, so don't let go of me, understand ?"

Nozomi now out of her daze from the flying nods and makes her hold on Seiza firmer.

When they get close to their destination, they see what appears to be a small barrier made out of shadows, not letting anyone see what's happening inside of it, they then descend to the ground to get a close look on it.

Nozomi with a curious look approached the dome, when she touched it the dome repealed her back with some force, but it didn't seem like it hurt her.Like it was just trying to keep her away.

"What's up with this ? Why can't I enter it ?"

Nozomi looks at Seiza with a look of confusion on her face, Seiza then walks to her side, now analyzing the barrier in front of him.

"Hmm, this must be an barrier made by that creature, i might be able to make an entrance for us, give me an minute"

Seiza now closes his eyes and starts to concentrate and a bead of sweat falling from his head and slowly an entrance big and wide enough for Nozomi to pass is formed with only the pitch black darkness similar to a cave being in the way.

"Phew, ok, we can go now"

Nozomi stares at the entrance made by Seiza, said entrance giving an sense of unease, but she push her worries down and just enters it without any second thoughts alongside Seiza, and after a few seconds inside the gem on her tiara starts to shine and bright white light, showing the way ahead.

"Oh, cool! I got a lantern ! That helps."

Seiza looks at her with slight worry by her being so nonchalant about it, he shakes his head and keeps moving forward alongside Nozomi who's sporting a confident smile even with the seemingly dangerous situation.

'A talking dog, magical powers, and saving my best friend from some kind of weird monster. I might not be the brightest person around, sure, but even I would realize this is all a dream, but still, I might as well have fun in it.'

After a while walking, Seiza stops for a moment with his senses noticing something.

"Wait...Nozomi, hold on me again !"

Seiza jumps on Nozomi's arms and then the ground starts to tremble and then it breaks beneath their feet, making them fall into the seemingly eternal darkness below, but even with something so sudden, Nozomi is still with that unshakable confidence that Seiza this time noticing it.

'Even with this sudden fall, she still remains confident, that's some nerves of steel, I definitely chose the right person for the job, heh, I might as well pull my own weight !'

Closing its eyes, Seiza begins to focus and their fall starts to slow down little by little, now descending at a safe speed they eventually they start to see 2 figures below them, getting close they get a better look at them both, one who's standing and the other who's sitting on the ground with it's back against an dumpster, the one on its feet looks like some kind of weird feline and human combination while the one who's sitting being Yoshino.

The human-cat noticing the light above jumps backwards away from the high school girl, landing at the edge of a nearby lamp post, having now a surprised look on her face.

"What the-, what's this !?"

When they finally touch the ground, standing in between Yoshino and the human-cat, when Nozomi gets to see Yoshino's state she completely stops in shock, her eyes giving a look of horror by the scene in front of her.

She could clearly see the body of her best friend, on the floor with claw marks on her left leg that seemed like it ripped straight through the flesh, blood was pouring out and making a small pond dirting the ground around the wounded leg.

'W-what happened ? This is a dream right ? Y-yeah, it's probably a nightmare, yes, just a nightmare, she's fine, she's fine, she's fine, she's fine, she's fine, she's fine, she's fine.'

"Hey, are you listening ?! I can still save her if you give me enough time, just protect us from the monster !"

Nozomi snaps out of her shocked state and then looks at Seiza, her look of horror then slowly turns back into the same confident one that she wore before and nods at the puppy, the latter getting close to Yoshino's injured leg and closes it's eyes again in concentration, then, a green light appears around the injured leg, Nozomi, meanwhile, is now facing the human-cat creature who hurt her friend, with the lamp post light clearly showing it's unnatural features.

'Phew, for a moment it really felt like this was real, it's a good thing that Seiza snap me out of it with him being a talking dog and all, heh, i wonder what Yoshin, the real one that is, would think if i told her about this dream, she would probably get mad at me for making her an damsel in distress.'

While Nozomi was occupied with her thoughts, the human-cat starts to become increasingly irritated with her silent stare at it.

"How dare you, to interrupt when things were about to get fun, who are you ?!"

The white haired girl snaps out of her thoughts, now put on the spot by the question from the enemy in front of her, putting a hand on her chin in thought.

'Humm, who am i....obviously I cannot use my real name, that would certainly just cause trouble later. Then what do I call myself in this form ?'

Then, after looking upwards, at the source of the lamp post light for a few seconds, an figurative lamp post lighted up inside of her head, she then puts up a pose while pointing at the human-cat monster with a determined look.

"I am...Guardian Taurus Light, the one who's gonna stop you !"
