'I probably won't be able to survive against many monsters, in other words, I should focus on surviving.'
As much as I'd like to participate in some monster hunting, unlike the other players who possibly had combat-oriented skills, there was nothing else for me to do. With this line of thought and the instinct to prevail, my hand tightened the grip on the mining hammer.
'With my skill, I could make some stone planks and close the hole of this tunnel, so that I can do as I please in the meantime unless they break it through. She looked at the entrance of the cave, wondering if her decision was the most correct. 'Maybe I could use the stones to repair the wall? I'll need to see the best way to close it, skill craft open.'
After opening the first menu my finger further touched the materials section, focusing my eyes on the part I needed.
Materials:
Yellow Stone Plank - Yellow Stone x10
Yellow Stone Cube - Yellow Stone x10
Yellow Stone Edge - Yellow Stone x1
'I guess 5 yellow stone planks should be enough to cover this hole I made. It would be nice if the monsters don't realize it...'
System: 1 point from magical and 50 yellow stones have been deducted, 5 minutes left.
'I'm starting to feel confident about working with this skill... inventory to check what I got right?' The correlated screen was summoned, bringing a proud smirk to my face. Slowly but surely I began memorizing the rightful commands.
Inventory:
3x Healing Herbs
200x Yellow Stones
95x Oak wood
2x Mining Hammers
Some more time passed, with me digging for 5 more minutes, getting 30 yellow stones and the 5 planks from the craft order.
'I could get used to playing this game, it's actually more interesting than I initially thought,' I laughed for a bit feeling overjoyed, walking towards the entrance and then upon arrival started closing the hole with the stone planks.
System: 6 points from physical have been deducted.
6 hours went by of digging further into the maze, for better or worse I hadn't found a way out of it in the direction that I went for. Without worrying too much about the tunnel entrance as I did everything possible to close it tight, all that was heard from time to time was screams, people dying, and every so often messages from the admin.
Admin: 20th player has died in the tutorial, big monsters will now be released.
My hand passed through my forehead, wiping the sweat off it. Without armor and only with a wooden bow, there was no way I wouldn't easily perish to those outside of the tunnel. The fact that there were still that many survivors, was simply because they were either good at fighting, hiding, or running away. Beings like that would go as far as to fight among themselves to collect some extra kills.
With a delighted smile, I remained calm, patiently doing my thing, farming countlessly for more and more stones, believing that they'd come to become a reward.
'The overseer must be having fun watching everyone dying. I'm surprised there are still 10 players alive, I've peeked through a small hole on the stone wall I made and the place is infested by creepy-looking monsters of different colors, and sizes. I can't even imagine what these new big monsters will look like.'
"Ah! No! Someone save me!" A cry resounded through the walls but to no avail as a message popped up announcing the being's end.

Admin: 21st player has died in the tutorial.
'If I didn't have this skill I'd be the one dead. It certainly isn't any good for combat but it's pretty useful in other ways,' I remained hiding in my tunnel, avoiding death for one more hour that went by in a cruel yet slow motion.
Admin: 25th player has died in the tutorial, invincible monsters will now be released, run for your lives during the last hour.
'I suppose that they're only invincible during the tutorial otherwise if we find them during the game world we'd all most likely die.'
I prayed for that to be true within myself, otherwise, a way to seal or trap them would be necessary from the beginning, and as powerless as I felt to be, that would be impossible to achieve.
'I've made quite the long tunnel, haven't found any ways out so I must have dig towards some deep place I wonder. Is there any solution to the tutorial? Something that can only be found in this place?' My swollen and pained hands kept digging for the last hour with that in mind, hoping to discover anything of worth, like a special treasure.
'It would be interesting if I ended up near some prize perhaps something that'd allow me to fight those things,' with 30 minutes left I heard the admin's voice for the 29th time.
Admin: 29th player has died in the tutorial.
Suddenly a blue aura illuminated my tunnel.
At that, my eyes looked around without fretting as everyone else was dead.
That was when I found a familiar figure, greetings me once more, "hello, fairy."
I waved at him with a cute smile and responded, "oh! It's mister worm!"
He laughed upon hearing that, "Yes, that would be me. It seems like you've found quite a way to escape the dungeon monsters."
I placed my hand on my pained back while laughing, adding sincere words and causing the fellow to smile, "I was too immersed digging that I just happened to make a tunnel in this place, it was thanks to this yellow stone that illuminates my way."
"Or so it seems, to surpass my expectation while using one of the worst skills for this place..."
He nodded slightly hiding his happiness and the fact that the worm was proud of her.
"I'm glad you had fun, the world that awaits all of you will have all sorts of dangerous situations so make sure you get strong and don't hide like here."
His words caused my heart to grow warmer.
"Alright, mister worm. I promise to do my best to survive in there too."
