Desires far inside, emotions rising to the peak. Even if it is horrifying, this being the will to continue on. Memories making little sense, but somehow of acknowledgement. One that is an enemy of the worlds, that darkness residing within the deepest of abyss. An entity capable of bringing an army to their knees, corruption existing deep inside of them. These feelings eating away at the young woman, that soft heart trying to maintain itself. The maiden confronting the vampire once again. However, something is strange this time. That devil standing in her way, blocking her path onward. Taking a moment to consider whether or not he is an enemy, Cyra keeping a careful eye upon him. After all, it is making little sense to stop one's advance given their situation. Those eyes of the vampire more of seriousness, witnessing his gaze expressing a bit more concern, the angel giving him the benefit of the doubt. At least for now either way.
"Not yet." He warns.
"What do you mean?" she folds her arms, looking at him in more suspicion.
"That angel and Hades have to wait, something of more grave importance has revealed itself." He turns from her, looking up into the velvet moon.
The night certainly at an unrest, this threat at hand intensifying by the hour. Every step of the way, the wheel of fate constantly turning, those willing to fight against it. A heart reaching out into the endless distance, a soul wishing to be free of the shackles binding it. This threat requiring even more attention than Hades and Rose. That information unnerving Cyra, wondering what other mysteries are hiding inside of the night. Those endless emotions within her, the unsettling wind. Many questions plaguing her mind, and not enough time to sort out credible answers.
"I do not follow, clarify." She impatiently commands.
Scratching the back of his head, the vampire facing her once again. Clearly her nature is something of expectance, that maiden never being one to beat around the bush. Especially in such dire times as well. Even so, now and then it does not hurt to take a rest. Ever so serious, perhaps one of her more admirable traits. At the same time, this reflecting to many problems in itself. One burning in such determination, desires crying out far inside of the past. That darkness clawing away from the depths, emotions at a high.
"Have you ever heard of the Harmonizer?" he sighs.
"Harmonizers were once a race set into place to guard this world, but they have been long lost to history." She slightly looks down, thinking on the information.
"Right, well, there was one left. One that came from a long descent." He folds his arms.
A gentle breeze blowing against them, this information catching her interest. Those crimson eyes of hers fixating a bit more, the Harmonizer, Cyra wondering what relevance they may have. The connection between this race, and the eternal night. Yet another turn in this sickening game, a race that has been on the verge of extinction playing a role. Along each path, something even more unsettling surfacing. That young woman knowing well that arming herself with information is of necessity, a war weighing on avoiding potential missteps.
"Explain more."
"Hades wants the body of the Harmonizer to further his own power. If he gets that body, I am afraid there won't be anyone that can stop him. His power is already mighty, such an amplification will make him almost impossible to kill."
Cyra carefully looking into the eyes of the vampire, determining the credibility of his statement. After a bit of time, that maiden coming to the conclusion of his truthfulness. Even so, something deep within grasping at her, unable in shaking off the feeling of familiarity. Feeling as if his presence has been to her awareness at another point in time. Shortly coming to a conclusion, that young woman possibly turning a blind eye to the devil. An unlikely outcome, but no less one of rationality. No matter so, a vampire not of a threat.
"Where is this Harmonizer?" her voice seeming of more interest.
"The Harmonizer is dead." He informs, slightly looking away.
"Then what is the problem?" she questions.
Incapability of the dead returning to life, a natural order it is. Even so, another option making its way into actuality. One capable of returning those that are no more to the living, an ability similar to her own. Nigh impossible it may be, but a chance nonetheless. Problems not of concern under normal circumstances, yet something eating away at her. A threat possibly at hand, information hiding away inside of a race. Everything slowly spiraling around, the night growing even more sinister with each passing moment.
"One of the previous knights of the late King is working with Hades, he is trying to restore the King's body. If such a thing happens, there is no telling of the chaos that will rain down upon this world."
Hesitation revealing within the voice of the devil, perhaps fear is a better word. Intimidation in the chance of success, a demon wishing in preventing this occurrence. Peculiar it is to the young woman, barely anything is adding up. Restoring the body of the late King, knowledge not meant for the realm of the humans. One overlooking actions from the world below, current events stemming from those inactions. Speculations no less, this solving nothing. That maiden pressing onward, questions plaguing her mind. Dire the situation may be, but one within hope. This night teaching her many lessons as well, that even in the deepest of abyss, there is always a light.
"Where is this knight?" Cyra verifying.
A tipping point the former knight is, one betraying his kingdom. Little sense inside of the night, a connection point no less. A devil fearing the resurrection of the late King's body, confusion around each end. Mystery existing within a nightmare, that young woman venturing deeper into the night. Enemies around each corner, even more cynical it is becoming. Something new constantly surfacing, her past and this situation intertwining. Questions scattering far and wide, so little answers to those many. Dreadful the experience may be, but this no doubt being the way in going forward.
"He is heading to the Royal Crypts, by using some remains of the King, ashes even, he can restore the body by using ancient alchemy."

"I see, then I suppose my other half will have to wait." She turns, positioning her arms in a thinking posture.
Gazing upon her, shame slightly inside of him, his vision unveiling some of those emotions. Irrationality within the night, one seeking in settling her dispute with her other half. No matter so, reasoning of necessity. Desires deep inside, indescribable emotions brewing at her depths. Even so, that maiden putting it on hold for the time being. Fragile the situation is, a single error meaning her hopes and dreams all burning away along with the Nine Worlds. A small sacrifice to make, but one in which will come to a conclusion at another point.
"Follow me, I know a way out of here." He informs her.
"You are coming with me?" she questions, glancing back to him.
A bit surprising it is, that worthless vampire having some uses. Even in the most unlikely of situations, there can be an ally. Secrets inside of a nightmare, horrors around each end. A heart yearning for answers, questions plaguing her mind. Even so, his presence meaning one less enemy. Torment eternally branding the realm of the humans, those willing to work with the most unlikely. Even if the assistance is not much, that effort will be well in place towards a brighter morrow.
"At this point, no more sleeping. It's about time I start pulling a bit of my weight." He answers.
"I see...may I ask a question?" she slightly looks away, sorrow expressing from her eyes.
"Go ahead."
"Did you know a god by the name of Valor?" some hope depicting within her voice.
"I guess you can say that." He responds.
Hearing those words, that maiden turning her attention to him, taking a step towards the vampire. A devil knowing of the deity, a chance of revealing his location. This night evermore dangerous, nigh impossible in aloneness, together existing a better chance. Those desires inside of her burning even more, her heart thumping a bit faster. After so many hours, countless even, finally things are starting to look up. Hope deep within, one believing that her old friend will survive, this no less the moment she has been searching for.
"Do you have any idea where he is?" she questions a bit eagerly.
"He is in hiding at the moment."
"Hiding you say? From whom?" this taking her by surprise.
To think him of all people will be hiding, this information deeply striking at the young woman. Everything slowly coming together, unsettling emotions rising inside of her. Secluding himself from his enemies, a way in rendezvousing with her old friend. A war having a brighter light, one so great having to flee. Critical the situation is, unnerving one can say. Alone hope may be small, but together a greater chance of success being of a possibility.
"From Hades, you really do not remember...do you...?" he looks towards her with pitiable eyes.
His tone expressing the same feeling, but only slightly. There is much the maiden does not know, her memories of haziness, a mess one can call it. Difficult it is in identifying reality from fiction, grim the conflict is, alarming it is around each end. Discrepancies in her memories of criticalness, those mixture of emotions clawing away at her core. Despair deep inside, confusion expressing from her eyes. A cold chill running down her spine, uneasiness gripping at her heart.
"Rose said the same thing, what am I not remembering?" she holds the side of her head, looking down.
"He lost much of his power protecting you from Hades, it's why you are in that form."
Hearing of the condition of Valor, that chill becoming even more frightening. Fear grabbing at her, that old friend protecting her from Hades. Unsurprising it is, but most troubling. An irreplaceable one he is, one going to endless distances for her, concerning herself for his well-being. This information explaining why she cannot find him, that old friend doing all that he can to cover his tracks, to be able to recover. Even so, something still does not appear right. The young woman knowing that despite it all, there has been no trace whatsoever. This fact unnerving her by the moment, her heart desperately trying to hold onto hope.
"Remember."
Those words echoing through her, pulsing inside of her body. Pain intensely striking at her mind, those endless emotions flowing through her. Fear gripping at her, the past rushing to the surface. Even if it is most dreadful, to know of what has been, that desire growing even stronger. Agonizing it may be to her heart, but this is the will to continue on. No matter the morrow, no matter the sorrow, one has to stop fleeing at some point. Emotions taking form, flooding those dreadful memories back into her.
