Chapter 53: Chapter 14: Growing Fear(Character Profile)

One who embraces their imperfections and selfish desires. As they dive deeper into darkness, being consumed by the malevolence deep within them, their power increases frighteningly. A thousand years ago, when the first Iconoclast was born. They sent the entire Nine Worlds into a state of chaos, bringing everyone to their knees. Why one may ask? Well, for a simple reason really. To return to the time they were most happy. Such a simple desire, and such a powerful end. It is with the request of the Iconoclast, a selfish request to their most trusted friend. To erase their memories of such events, and make the Iconoclast as well as the Nine Winged Seraph a legend.

Vulcan of the Order of Cross

The most renowned man of his time. Leading a massive army of followers, he aims to purge the world of demons. Serving under the guidance of the Nine Winged Seraph, he uses their name to pass judgment on the souls of others. A very skilled man as well as a very influential one. Hearing of the chaos upon Midgard, and the war which grows evermore grim, he looks desperately for a solution. As his men reports to him, he begins to notice a pattern, and decides to investigate the imbalance of malevolence, as well as the connection it has to the velvet moon. It is during his research that he discovers a bone chilling truth.

That the Iconoclast is very much real, and they are amongst the chaos. With little time to spare, he gathers his men, and heads out to execute the Iconoclast. Upon his encounter with her, his entire world comes crashing down as he sees her pure white wings. Realizing that the Iconoclast, and the Nine Winged Seraph are the same being. Seeing the ferocity before him, watching as the land rips apart before his very eyes, seeing as his own men loses their lives, he loses hope. Realizing that the Iconoclast is far more powerful than the gods themselves. Ever since this event, the Order of Cross fades into legend, but never truly forgotten.
