Sins residing in the deepest of darkness, one from so long ago revealing for a moment. That hatred burning at the core, a heart resenting the field of battle. No matter so, that will to continue on, to see this nightmare through to its end. Even if it is but a somber morrow, that resolve stubbornly pursuing onward. Fear gripping the souls of countless, that image returning even more with each passing hour. One that is an enemy, but that is okay. Even if it is of dreadfulness, those few reaching out towards the one traveling in the deepest of abyss. Struggling through the endless night, those few resisting the harsh tides together. Even so, everyone needing a rest. Cyra calling their venture to a temporary halt, for those companions of hers to have a rest for once.

The cold night holding many mysteries inside of it, the ruin all around, such bringing comfort as well as sorrow. Sorrow from the numerous lives that are no more, comfort from the safety in numbers. High on top of a cliff, sitting at the center of the area, a fire brightly burning. The flames extending not too far, but telling a story of its own. Those few sitting around the fire, resting their vision on the starry sky. A long way it has certainly been, everyone having their limitation. Even if the conflict is but a dire one, now and then it is good to simply take a break, resting those wings from the harsh journey. None capable of going forever, at some point, everyone having to stop. Tiresome it is, even for someone like Cyra. Endless conflict throughout the years, that heart crying out so far inside, yet the pain never ceasing. Those many emotions within her, the past slowly coming to light.

Cyra looking towards Anya, calmness and content from the Elven. Out of all of them, no doubt this one suffering the most. Turning her attention to the Queen, that woman finally having a moment to catch her breath. Truly it must have been horrible, running for so long, enduring that agony inside of her. Even so, that dragon holding onto hope, no matter how slim the chances may be. Looking towards the vampire, that demon distantly gazing into the fire. Cyra taking a moment, studying his behavior. A peculiar one he is, from the beginning this devil having her suspicion. That young woman keeping him close, slowly drawing out the necessary answers.

Until the moment of revealing his identity, that angel continuing her observation, slowly moving closer to those questions inside of her. Despite such, those pleasant experiences, that demon of a wonderful companion. The Queen resting her vision on the velvet moon for a moment, soon turning her attention towards the maiden. Cyra noticing, looking in the direction of the Queen. Unsurprising it is, numerous questions that Queen is having, those problems coming about due to her foolishness. That encounter with Hades, her own error allowing for an ambush. Everything falling apart, an eternal night engulfing the world of the humans.

"Valkyrie, tell me...why did all of this happen?" the Queen's voice expressing some sorrow.

Everything slowly coming around, the angel well in awareness of this. Those actions of the past causing such turmoil, despair clawing away at the souls of countless. No doubt there will have come a time for her to reveal the reasoning for this night, for so much chaos. Distantly looking into the fire, that light brightly shining. Those eyes slowly turning into regret, a foolish decision bringing such misfortune, sorrow grasping at everyone. A wrong of greatness, the Lord of Darkness having his chance. No matter her intention, it has only been an excuse. To face up to this sin, that is her way forward.

"This is my fault..." Her voice of regret.

That Queen and Anya looking upon the maiden, seeing sorrow within her eyes. The vampire slightly looking away, understanding her decision. No matter so, that action leading to so much turmoil, that angel accepting her responsibility in it all. Memories of the past slowly revealing, that one so long ago never denying her actions. A defining trait of hers no less, someone accepting her faults. That person pushing so hard to right the wrong that has been done, one from the deepest of shadows returning to the surface. Anya and the Queen seeing that sadness from the young woman, both knowing that Cyra is sincere in her remorse.

"Your fault? How so?" that Queen propping her head in confusion.

Slowly inhaling and exhaling, resting her vision on the velvet moon, watching it brightly shining. Aster turning his attention towards her, that one from times of yore facing up to the wrong that has been done. Painfulness of it all, thinking back to that time. A moment of weakness leading to so much catastrophe, an eternal night cloaking the world of the humans. No matter so, that young woman learning from her mistake. That heart yearning to right the wrong that has been done, to have this nightmare no more than a memory. Difficult it may be, but certainly not out of the realm of possibility. That will to oppose taking hold, a resolve burning even stronger. Aster looking away from her, knowing that this is something she has to do on her own.

"Power, that was what I wanted. To be able to protect my home, a grave error it has been. Hades saw that greed, that weakness inside of me, as a result I was deceived, but that is simply an excuse. I confronted Hades, and Valor a god, my closest friend...came to my aid. Together we fought against Hades...a foolish error I made. Turning my back on the beast, he sprung on me. Valor protected me...but was critically injured in the process. Hades then came right towards me...and separated me into two beings. I lost my Artifact, without it there would be no hope, so Valor sent me far away from the battlefield, then he managed to seal Hades deep within your castle, this was how all of this began." The maiden distantly explaining.

Hearing of this, conflicting emotions rising inside of the Queen. Uncertainty brewing within her, that one responsible for the loss of her family, for the condition Anya is in, all of it resting on the young woman. Aggravating this is, yet her heart unable to despise the angel. Even if she cannot forgive the young woman for this heinous act, at the same time, a bond forming between those few. Horribleness in it all, but an invaluable experience between them. That angel trying so hard to right her wrong, in order to end this nightmare. To be able to restore normalcy, to give back what is no more. Cyra looking down for a moment, Reviver representing the slightest of hope.

Even if the chances are minuscule at best, that will to resist taking hold. One willing to grasp the nigh impossible, making it into a reality. No matter the morrow, even if the sorrow is of grandness, those dreams of her comrades can become a reality once more. Anya looking towards the Queen, soon turning her attention to Cyra. Despite such things, the princess cannot resent the maiden, continuously thinking of her as an older sister. That princess strongly believing within Cyra, that the events of the eternal night will be no more, that the damages can be in reversal. That Queen resting her vision upon the young woman, positioning her arms in a thinking posture, her expression slightly more of seriousness.

"Your weapon...where is it?" her voice of concern.

Extending her hand behind her, Cyra taking hold of the staff. That angel holding it in front of her, gazing upon it for a moment. Those many memories of the past, that old friend giving her a gift of valuableness. This weapon more like a family, even if her despair is so great, there can always be some comfort. Those countless emotions within her, that one from the abyss rising once more. That Queen realizing this, giving her a moment, witnessing the sentimental attachment. Pain of deepness, yet the faintest of hope of a possibility. Even if there are enemies all around, this weapon constantly being there for her through thick and thin.
