----------------------Narration--------------------------

About 700 years ago, the Yamashita clan was made up of hundreds of people. Like the other clans, they were just members who shared a little blood pooled together, but unlike most people, the clan members had a skill that put them at the top of the ranks in most careers they decided to pursue, from assassination to combat.

This ability was known to the clan as [Divine Eyes].

The ability provided them with supernatural eye abilities, as well as increasing the speed of information processing in their brain. For ordinary members, they could only see a few miles away clearly and have accelerated processing.

But those considered the Elite of the clan, in addition to these abilities, had the ability to see the world from a completely different perspective. Those born with a greater talent for the skill were able to accelerate their own perception to extraordinary levels, being able to see everything from the flapping wings of a fly clearly, to seeing the trajectory of an arrow so slowly that it made them yawn.

Because of this ability, the Yamashita clan was feared by the other clans, but despite this, it still had its loyal allies, and one of them was the Kure clan, both of them maintaining a good relationship.

The Yamashita clan was not a warrior clan, but they still had some of the strongest people of the time as part of their family.

No one would dare lift a finger against the clan.

Or at least that is what everyone believed.

Suddenly and without explanation, the clan was suddenly attacked by a single person, a demon, who killed the clan members, even the children, without any remorse.

Even with their strongest warriors, the clan could not do much to stop the assassin and were easily slaughtered.

There were only three survivors of the massacre, these being a couple with their newborn child, who fled and took refuge in the Kure clan for a few years before leaving to raise their child in a quiet place.

On the day of the extermination of the Yamashita clan, the legend of the red demon arose.

The Kure clan, despite being a clan of assassins and warriors, were furious about what had happened, as they really had a great relationship with the Yamashita clan, even having an arranged marriage that would have taken place if not for the tragedy. The strongest Yamashita warrior with the princess of the Kure clan. The two were hopelessly in love with each other, and after learning of her beloved's death at the hands of the red demon, the woman immediately ordered his hunt.

Most were unable to find him, and those who did, ended up suffering the same fate as the members of the Yamashita clan.

After this, what was left of the Yamashita clan survived, passing through Yamashita Ichinoshin, to the present time, arriving in Yuji Shinakawa, the youngest of what was left of the Yamashita clan.

Shisumi, who found out by chance about some of her family's past, became fascinated by the history of her clan and decided to research it further, spending some years when she was younger traveling to find as much information as possible, managing to piece together much of the past events related to the Yamashita.

She really had the characteristic ability of the clan, but she could only see a few miles away with ease, while her sister, Yuji's mother, was able to accelerate her perception to extraordinary levels. His older brother, Kazuo Yamashita, probably had the same ability as his sister, this from what Shisumi had observed a few years earlier.

"This is the story of our family."

----------------------Yuji Pov.--------------------------

'So that's where that appealing eye skill comes from.'

I really didn't know how to feel about it, after all, it's been 700 years, and I'm not stupid enough to start a quest for revenge or something. Besides, the person responsible for the massacre of the clan is probably already dead, and I wouldn't hunt down his descendants because his ancestor was some kind of psychopath.

Agreeing with myself, I found myself thinking about something that caught my attention in Shisumi's story. Isn't the name Kazuo Yamashita the name of the man Ohma Tokita represented in his fights? I'm not sure I've seen him using some ocular ability or something.... Shit, my problem with not paying attention to detail when watching something...

Wait... Does this mean that my cousin is an antisocial genius who insulted the Kure clan? I've had enough trouble dealing with these geniuses...

"I see..." I spoke as I scratched my chin.

"It's a story I've spent a good few years researching, and I'm telling you this because I believe that you Yuji, will put the spotlight back on the Yamashita clan." With a smile, she gave me a kiss on the cheek as she stood up. "I don't really care about that sort of thing, but it's something the rest of our ancestors wanted, and why not honor their memories with it? Sure, you won't be doing it for them, but you'll still be honoring them, even if unintentionally."

I watched her walk to the kitchen, letting a thoughtful look appear on my features. Honor the dead? If the dead feel honored that I am becoming strong, then what would I have to say about it? Let them watch my progress and feel their memories honored or something? As she said, it's not really something I'm doing for them.

"..."

Oh shit, I forgot about Senju!

With a burst of speed, I disappeared from the room in the blink of an eye.

.

.

About three minutes later, I arrived at the bakery, suddenly appearing in front of a woman, who was startled to see me.

"Sorry miss!" I excused myself and walked to the bakery, my eyes landing on a Senju woman, who was eating a small cake with a happy expression.

The girl was wearing a short black dress, with the skirt above her knees, giving a nice view of her legs that I enjoyed as I approached. What? I am a man of culture.

With a sleeveless blouse matching her skirt, her arms were showing, giving her a charm that I couldn't help but notice.

A beautiful girl, I have to agree. Any man would be lucky to have someone like her by his side, of that I am sure.

"Senju!" I exclaimed, catching her attention, making her look at me with a glint in her eyes that I couldn't help but notice.

"Yuji!" She approached me in a flash, stopping in front of me with a cute smile on her face as she held her hands behind her back. "I'm glad to see that you're okay."

What is that? This is completely different from the attitude before... Before I could react, she grabbed my hand and pulled me into the bakery.

"Come on! Let's go into the bakery!"

As much as I just want to enjoy the fact that she acts this way with me, I can't help but be suspicious.

When we sat down, I could almost see her glowing, as if a halo created by her great mood was hanging over her head. Don't ask me how I can see something like that, because I wouldn't know the answer.

"What will you two be wanting?" An attendant approached us, asking as he picked up a notepad.

"I'll have a strawberry shortcake." I didn't look at the menu for a long time, just ordering what I would find pleasing.

"Same for me." Senju spoke, the attendant nodding in agreement as he walked away.

Opening a smile, I set my eyes on Senju.

"Are you so happy to see me? I didn't know you were so considerate of me." I teased her.

Senju, who didn't react much to my provocation, just looked away, but I could see the slight blush on his cheeks.

"I was just worried about losing a business partner..." She crossed her arms as she refused to look at me.

She is still vulnerable to teasing, that's good, so I can know that her humor is genuine and not a pretense.

"Really? That makes me disappointed." Using all the acting skill I had, I let out a sigh while sketching an expression of sadness.

My performance proved to be a success, as the girl turned her attention to me and noticed my expression, her eyes widening as she waved her hands in front of her body.

"N-No! I was really worried about you!"

I opened a cheeky smile the moment she spoke, causing the girl to freeze for a few seconds, realizing that I was joking with her.

"Idiot!" she stewed her cheeks, looking away as she ignored me.

I laughed at her reaction. She and Elena are very pleasant to tease.

.

After we ate the cake, it didn't take long for us to leave after talking for a while. The girl seemed curious, and if I had a guess, it was about why I had been hospitalized. It wasn't that I didn't trust her to tell me what happened, I just didn't want to talk about the biggest beating I had ever taken in my life.

She seemed to understand that I really wasn't willing to talk about the incident, and went on to enjoy the moment we spent together.

We went to the same arcade as the first time, and played several games. The girl was genuinely comfortable around me, and I couldn't help but feel happy about this, after all, Senju was a nice girl, and like Elena, a person I would appreciate having around.

Deciding that we had enjoyed ourselves long enough, we said goodbye.

"That was good. I hope our next meeting will be fun like this one." I spoke cheekily, a gentle smile on my lips.

Senju paused for a few seconds, seeming to process my words, before he cracked a small smile and turned his eyes back to me.

"I hope so too."

I blinked a few times, trying to understand what I had just heard, but before I had a chance to speak, the girl walked away, leaving me dumbfounded among the people circulating

"That was unexpected."

I didn't know what kind of training Mokichi had discussed with my aunt, and I could only hope it wasn't something like throwing myself off cliffs to strengthen my bones.

Arriving at the training room of the Robinson mansion, I took a deep breath before opening the door and quietly entering.

"Oh, you have finally arrived." My master's voice caught my attention, my eyes moving to land on him, only to find him standing with a tall, muscular man at his side.

The moment I saw the unknown man, I felt an intense pressure run through all my limbs, my body trembling as I watched the aura of his body form the face of a dragon, the creature's eyes glowing dangerously as it seemed to stare at me as if I were just a snack.

That aura... I have never seen anything like it! I can tell that he is not even letting his aura escape from his body, but still, he has such pressure!

I opened my mouth in disbelief as I listened to what Mokichi was telling me.
