Chapter 19: I am claimed

I felt at peace for the first time in a long time when I sat here. I could sit here for all eternity but I knew that I still have to fulfill my destiny first.

"it seems that you have made up your mind," Hestia said as she saw me get up.

"yeah I did," I said as I headed towards the training arena.

I began to work out by doing pushups, pull-ups, and other exercises. I trained until my body hurt, and then I healed myself and started again.

my night was spent doing something productive, and I went into the woods and killed some monsters.

the Demeter cabin was the first one up but when they got out to the fields they only saw me doing pull-ups using the tree there.

they went about their business and I went back to mine. I would do the lava wall challenge blindfolded or other challenges with a handicap.

while I have a lot of fighting experience, I still need to make sure my body can keep up with it otherwise it is useless.

while I may have my old appearance, I don't have the body that has been through many wars. the body that tanked bullets, tortured, and full-on wars.

since I was back to the beginning I was going to make sure to have an even stronger body so I can stop order.

however to do that I would need to get stronger and the easiest way to do that is to travel to teyvat again.

or since I have chaos power I can just make a gnosis and keep it on me, but that's too much work, so I'll just steal the Geo gnosis or head to orario.

when I finished exercising I made my way to the lake and quickly washed up just in time for breakfast.

the next day I did the same thing. train, heal, and train.

capture the flag was today and I was on Annabeth's team again, so hurray for me.

the Demeter cabin got used to my presence next to the field, and after working out I would go into the training area and work on my dagger and sword combo.

I took a liking to this combat style when I was in the chaos army but never got around to actually training it.

when I was t training I spent my time with Hestia or just sitting by her hearth. I sacrificed most of my meals to her, Poseidon, and hades.

I got many weird looks when people saw me talking to Hestia, however, I didn't really care, if they tried anything I was ready to send them to the infirmary.

  grover got his searchers license however he said that he would go after summer was over because he had a feeling something was going to happen.

a couple of times I sensed Artemis or another god watching over me, with Artemis I played the same joke I did and waved at her, while I let the other gods do what they wanted.

I was strapped up in armor and I had a sword, a dagger, and a lot of throwing knives strapped on my back.

they were explaining the plan and how I was going to used as bait. I saw how dumb the plan was, so I elected to ignore it and just sit in the creek.

it seems like they had around ten people this time and the other side was heavily defended against our attack, telling me that there was a spy on our side.

"if you want to come and attack me, I hope you are ready for the consequences," I said throwing two knives and the second redirecting the first to hit the person with a shield.

"charge," I heard Clarisse shout and I got up and prepared myself.

the first swung his sword and I redirected it and gave him a swift punch to his lungs. the next person was a girl so I yanked her spear and punched her in the helmet and broke it.

she was on the floor in pain and Clarisse charged me with her spear. although she was quick, she couldn't land a hit on me.

I used her momentum of trying to stab me and launched her into the lake. I then grabbed my throwing knives and threw them at the remaining people including Annabeth.

hearing her shout sent a wave of satisfaction through me however I stopped attacking and sat back on the ground and waited for our side to cheer on victory.

we celebrated our win when it finally came, the growl of the hellhound.

"my bow," I heard Chiron yell in Greek.

it pounced at me and I rolled into the lake and had five throwing knives at the ready and threw them into both its eyes. I then used the water and propelled myself onto its back.

"yeehaw," I shouted as I was riding him like the Minotaur and finally ended its suffering by repeatedly stabbing it in its head.

when I arrived back at the ground a green trident appeared above my head and I sent my father a quick thank you.

"Poseidon," said Chiron. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of the Sea God."
