(author note: I was kinda in a rush, so let me know if there are any mistakes. Grammarly was messing up for a bit. please and thanks.)

"Percy," hazel asked uncertainly.

"yup that's me, out of Tartarus and ready for action," I said with a little salute.

"How did you get out of Tartarus? the doors of death were closed," hazel exclaimed.

"pshhh that place was overrated," I said.

"When did you come back?" asked Reyna curiously.

"for about a year, spent a lot of my time with the hunt or helping kids," I told them.

"And you couldn't iris message me," hazel asked hurt.

"I didn't have any drachma...," I said confused.

"not an excuse," she said.

"on another note, Percy your welcome to join in the war games that's being held tonight," Reyna told me.

"Thanks, I can use one last battle before I leave," I said.

"leave?" hazel caught.

"yeah... I have to go help with a couple of troubles," I told them.

I continued the next thirty minutes talking to the duo before I had to leave. we only left when it was time for the war games.

while all the cohorts were lining up I appeared outside of cohort 5 and looked at the audience, I saw Gwen there too and I sent her a wave.

"Bob Uchiha ... Uzumaki chi chi... and finally Percy Jackson," Reyna called roll.

"here," I said getting everyone's attention.

almost immediately all the heads turned to my location, followed by the whispers. I took a glance at frank to see his shocked baby face.

"attention," reyna yelled.

"Now cohort five and cohort four will lead the defense, while cohorts 1,2, and 3 will lead the offense," she commanded.

like that we all headed to our position, while I was the only Frontline fighter. I mean I got used to fighting alone, so the Romans's way of fighting wasn't suited for me.

once we heard the horn the people on offense started charging the wall. I silently laughed and stomped my foot causing a minor earthquake.

almost all of the people on the wall lost their grip and plummeted to the ground, however they were saved by the golden eagle.

while that happened cohorts four and five were ready for the defense. I knew that I could probably jump the wall and wipe out the enemies but this game was supposed to be for fun, so I let them continue.

I watched the battlefield and noticed that these people's combat was way ahead of camp half-blood. however, that's only if they were fighting together, while they were alone they could only defend.

I raised my hand and controlled the river and wiped out the rest of the attackers.

"coward," I heard someone yell.

I just smirked and doused him some more. we won the game and lined up and watched the other kids get their awards.

I walked back towards the cohort to sleep when I was met with Reyna.

"not going to stay for the party?" she asked.

"I don't like parties," I told her.

"Who would know that the hero of Olympus wouldn't like parties," she said jokingly.

"everyone," I smirked.

reyna paused her steps and looked directly into my eyes.

"... I'm glad Tartarus didn't change you, Percy," she said.

I laughed, "glad that being a leader didn't change you much."

she shared a small laugh with me before she sat on one of the benches that were there.

"so who did you marry," she said as she glanced at the ring on my hand.

I sighed, this was going to be a long story.

"it all started when I got out of Tartarus..." I began to explain how I would rescue the demigods and how I got "captured" by Artemis. then go to me messing with the entire council and then getting Artemis and leto as a wife.

"the hunters sound fun," she said as if she was pondering something.

"you're more than welcome to join, you might not know this but I was going back to the hunt tomorrow. I just came to check up on the Romans," I said as I invited.

"I can't ... I have to run camp Jupiter," she said shaking her head.

"pshhh. please, you can find somebody responsible besides yourself. don't worry I have I plan," I said mysteriously coming up with a plan to have her join me with my ... friends in the hunt.

"your going to do something dumb aren't you," she said turning to me.

"me, do something dumb? well obviously," I said with an eye roll.

with that we had to go our separate ways, I entered my cohort and was knocked out as soon as I laid down.

I slept rather well than I have in years. dam I miss my bed in Tartarus, it was way more comfortable than these bunks.

today was a senate meeting and the leaders of the cohorts and of course, I had to come along, with Reyna's orders.

after I dropped off my weapons to terminus, minus my scythe, I gave that to Hestia for safekeeping. I entered the city and summoned some muffins and ate them.

I entered the meeting and immediately all the newer members of the Senate looked at me with disgust, probably because I wasn't wearing a toga.

I entered the meeting with my muffin and milk in hand. hey, this might be an important meeting but my breakfast comes first.

"Now that all the participants are here, we have someone returning to us," she said as she gestured to me.

"heweo-," I said before swallowing the remainder of my muffin, *cough, "hello, I'm Percy Jackson and I'm here for your praetor."

when I said that I mist traveled in front of Reyna to her shock and turned toward frank.

"you see me. I'm the captain now," I said mist traveling and grabbing riptide and running away.

"Percy," Reyna yelled as she tried to break free of my hold.

I didn't say anything and continued running towards the hunter's campsite. I ran almost 27 miles and my legs were god dam killing me.

luckily I already arrived at the hunt. to say the hunters were shocked I was carrying a woman on my shoulder was an understatement.

"I have come back with a friend," I said as I put Reyna down.

"did you kidnap the praetor from the Roman camp," Artemis said shocked?

"no it's called a surprise adoption," I said proudly.

"That's still kidnapping," Artemis said.

"hn," I said waving my hair over one eye, acting emo.

I felt danger coming from my left and dodged immediately, luckily I did because Reyna came towards me with a punch.

"do you have any idea of what you just did," she said continuing to try and punch me.

"I brought you to the hunt, it's where you would end up in 2 weeks anyways," I said.

that got Reyna to stop, "how did you know about that," she responded with a little shock.

"I have a ... call it a sixth sense, when somebody wants to join the hunt. it leads me to them and I can know when they will join," I said exposing what power Zeus had accidentally given me.

even Artemis was shocked about this ability. she didn't expect that Percy had this kind of ability.

"Now it's lunchtime, I want to make my last day here a blast before I leave," I said as I grabbed a paper and turned riptide into pen form.

"what's your order."

the rest of the afternoon was me spending time with everyone. I also managed to befriend all the hunters, I was like the big brother they never had, and because I have food.

I looked over at the stars in the sky before making a rainbow to call my mother.

I finally saw my mother, but she was with another group of people so I ended the call. I grabbed another paper and began to write that I would be back.

... sighing I walked over to the fire and saw Hestia sitting alone.

"what's got you, stressed hero," she said staring at the fire.

"I'm just wondering what will happen when I leave this place," I said reminiscing about my time here.

"There's always a journey ahead, even if you do not wish to accept it. they will always be present, but it's up to you how you go about it," she said patting my hair.

"you were always one of my favorite goddesses," I said looking at the stars.

hestia gave a little giggle, "I know. Your mother told me that when you were younger that you wanted to be like me."

I blushed to remember that time in my life. I was barely 7 and my mom was telling me about aunt Hestia.

"Now come hero, at least let me hug you one last time before you leave on your next journey," she said as she held out her hand.

I gave her a hug and stayed like that for a while before handing her the letter.

"Please give this to my mother, and thank you for everything you did for me. you will forever hold my loyalty, any version of you," I said pulling away from her.

"and I'm sure any version of me would be glad to have you too," she said as she put the letter in her pocket and she handed me back my scythe.

I pulled out the button chaos gave me, gave Hestia one last glance, and pressed it.

"goodbye hero," I heard her whisper.
