Right now, Han was waiting for Gregory to come back from a scouting mission that he sent him on. As a [Nightwalker], Gregory had unbelievable power when he was hiding in the shadow. His power was probably three times stronger than normal!
There were a lot of changes that came with the increase in power for Han, one of the main changes was the Star on his hand. Han already knew that there was a Star level above the white color, but he still didn’t know which one it was until he saw the black Star on his hand. These Celestials really like categorizing us like cattle. Strong cattle this way, weak cattle this way. We’re going to be branding you now, so stay still! Bullshit!
Han hated it. He hated that he was being branded like cattle!
Han ignored the Star on his hand and waited for Gregory to arrive. The fifty-second floor seemed peaceful enough and Han didn’t know if there was anything here that could pose a threat to Gregory as he was now. Gregory was already at that white star level even though he only had a gold star, so Gregory should be fine.
It didn’t take long for Gregory to arrive back at the cliff. Han turned to him curiously. Gregory had this pondering look on his face like he was trying to discover the secrets of the universe! Don’t tell me it was that bad!
“I went out to scout like you asked and I actually made it to floor fifty-five before I had to turn back. Han, these floors are nothing like the ones down there. I saw monsters. Giant monsters that are bigger than my castle in Magicus. Each one of them could almost sense me and it was only because I was traveling at night that they did not see me moving in the shadow. The first sign of people was on floor fifty-four. I saw some sentries protecting the portal leading to floor fifty-five, I managed to get past them by hiding in their shadow but when I got to floor fifty-five I couldn’t go any further. I just put what you asked me to and came back”
Han hummed. This could be a problem. He asked Gregory what exactly he saw on floor fifty-five and Gregory tried his best to explain it.
He called it a castle floating on an ocean. Floor fifty-five was completely covered with water and there was only one large landmass in the middle of the ocean. According to the information Gregory got, the castle was home to a mage called Quinthreath. He was once one of the seven kings but it seems Han overthrew him from the ranking with his arrival.

Han rose a brow. What the fuck are the seven kings? And how in the world did I overthrow anyone? I know that no one here knows about my existence! Unless there was some sort of list… No, that’s insane. Why would the Celestials make something like that? Competition? Were they so bored that they would make a ranking for people to know just who they had to beat to become stronger!? Yes, they probably would. Han was really starting to hate those Celestials.
“So what are you going to do now? I don’t think there is any way for us to sneak into the top floors. And unlike that scientist, Quinthreath has a lot of followers, almost ten thousand of them. I know you can kill him, but it won’t be easy”
Han then said something that surprised Gregory.
“I don’t want to kill him actually…”
Gregory looked toward Han as he wondered what Han was talking about. Was it not necessary to kill people like that to become stronger? Why would Han suddenly have an ideology of not killing? But now that I think about it, Han stopped me from killing Cersai as well. Why?
“… There’s no morally upright reason like that, get your head out your ass. I have nothing against killing anyone you don’t like, that’s your choice. But, you see, I need him. I need them all. Every single one of the chosen in the top ten has the power that I’m going to need when it’s finally time for us to fight for our freedom. I don’t need to kill my army to get them to join me, do I?”
Han smiled at Gregory and at that moment Gregory finally realized that Han was doing something bigger than he thought. This wasn’t just a mission for gaining more and more power. Han was actually trying to create followership. He was trying to start a revolution. No wonder he has been gathering followers all this time! He was making people willingly come to him instead of scaring them into submission.
He now had more than eight hundred thousand followers on the lower floor and he was still trying to gain more. Gregory smiled as he finally understood what Han was up to. Maybe it was good that he came with Han. It was never boring around this man.
Then Gregory said something that shocked Han as well.
“You get stronger when you gather followers right? That’s why you’ve been signing all those contracts? How strong will you get if I sign it as well?”

Han couldn’t believe that Gregory was willing to sign the contract of submission. He never asked Gregory to sign it because he knew that Gregory didn’t trust him easily after what happened on Magicus. The fact that Gregory was the one asking to sign it was unbelievable. Han knew that signing the contract with Gregory would give him far more than most other people in this Temple. Gregory got thousands of stats every time he killed someone. If Han signed with Gregory, then it would be better than almost every other contract.
Han told this to Gregory and Gregory held out his hand for the contract. He didn’t hesitate as he gave Han a nod of consent. Han sighed with a smile before he touched the Star and they signed the contract. Once that was done Gregory thought he would feel some sort of difference but he was surprised when he didn’t. Huh? Guess all the changes would happen with Han and not me.
Han looked out into the horizon and thought of how he should handle this Quinthreath. He decided that there was only one way to do this. He knew it would be hard to get Quinthreath to bow his head and sign a contract with him. Quinthreath was once one of the seven kings and he would have a lot of pride as someone that already lived for so long. Han needed to take this fight to him and then beat him. Han needed to show him the difference between the two of them
“Get ready Gregory,” Han said as thousands of [Shadow Hunters] began to form out of the ground, “We’re going to war”
………
On floor fifty, ten Celestials appeared out of the portal and looked around. They all had white hair and they wore different styles of white clothing. Like angels. There were seven males and three females in the group. They were here to investigate the person who might have activated the administrator control. They traced the signal of the activation back to this floor and they were sure they would find the person here.
At the portal, they saw about ten chosen standing there with weapons. They were from both the White Rose and the Red Arrow Redemption guilds. The chosen didn’t look like they were there to fight, instead, it seems that they were just people who were in charge of protecting the portal.
Cersai was also on duty that day and she couldn’t describe the feeling she got when she saw the Celestials. She couldn’t feel any sort of power from them but she still couldn’t get the feeling of powerlessness out of her head. She knew that these people were not ordinary! All of them were dangerous!
The Celestials ignored all the chosen and they began to walk into the floor. They already knew everything about these people. There were two guilds on this floor that were led by two gold Stars. One of the gold Stars has been to the upper floors before and it was just hilarious watching him run for his life when he fought against the dragon up there!
Half of the Celestials went towards the White Rose guild and the other half went towards the Red Arrow Redemption guild. They needed to handle this as quickly as possible!
The leader of the Red Arrow Redemption guild received them cautiously. He was cautious for two reasons. The first reason was that he couldn’t sense any power from any of them. Each of the Celestials was using a fake body to visit this floor, but even with the fake bodies, they were still unbelievably strong. None of the people here were able to sense their power. And the second reason why he was so cautious was that there was no Star on their hands.
How was it possible for them to get up here if they didn’t have any Star or powers!? It was going to be dangerous if he wasn’t careful here!
