[ Lavender Tower Top ] 

Haunter had a melancholic look in her eyes as she launched a gigantic claw-like wave of dark energy at Scizor and Pikachu who didn't have a look of worry in their eyes.

" Caw !" 

Fearow appeared as if he had manifested from thin air.

Fearow's talons glowed with white light as he slashed the air in front of him creating a black portal outlined in white.

Fearow jammed his talon into the portal before firing the same attack back at Haunter's shadow claw.

The two dark-type energies battled it out but couldn't overpower each other.

Haunter meanwhile was surprised by Fearow's appearance before noting a residual trace of dark type on Fearow's feathers.

It clicked in Haunter's head. 

These pokemon were using that crystal to hide.

Haunter couldn't help but smile.

Maybe they have a chance to survive.

Pikachu gave a thumbs up to Fearow who snorted and turned his head.

I don't need your acknowledgment.

Pikachu rolled his eyes before patting Scizor's head.

It's time.

Scizor clammed his claws before sinking into the shadows in pursuit.

Pikachu closed his eyes before channeling Dark type energy in his mind with a " Nasty Plot "

Fearow shot towards Haunter with Aerial Wing but was intercepted mid-way by the white hand.

Seeing this, Fearow's eyes flashed with anger before remembering a move his trainer had him working on.

The white hand karate chopped at Fearow's wings who suddenly turned his aerial wing into a drill run.

Spinning mid-flight, Fearow dodged the white hand's chop as he used the momentum provided by both aerial ace and drill run to land an extremely powerful steel wing onto the white hand.

Fearow's steel wing slashed through the lumps of flesh held together by ghostly energy.

Fearow held through the pain as he outstretched his wings as flew up.

The white hand was reduced to a pile of lumping pieces of flesh, meat, and bones held by strings of ghostly energy.

Fearow smirked as he saw the white hand turn towards him.

The white hand moved forward but its path toward Fearow was immediately halted as the path of dark clouds moved through it.

" Pika !"

The line of black clouds erupted in a thunderous roar of electricity that disintegrated the white hand out of oblivion.

One down, one to go.

Pikachu thought as he turned toward Haunter fighting against Scizor.

Haunter's life orb glowed as his claws glowed with ice-type energy.

A layer of ice covered Scizor's claws but Haunter could see it in his eyes.

He wasn't afraid.

Suddenly Scizor's body glowed with an esoteric aura before he teleported away.

Left in Scizor's place was Munna.

Using Ally Switch, Munna and Scizor swapped places as Munna's eyes glow yellow.

Psychic hypnotic waves shot out of them Munna's eyes putting the Shiny Alpha Haunter in a trance.

Sleep!

Scizor looked annoyed at Pikachu who was using his tiny claws to break the layer of ice.

( ~ Thud ~ )

Swinging his metal claw at the floor, Scizor broke the layer of ice as he looked at Pikachu as said.

Munna's eyes glowed red. The sleeping shiny alpha haunter then also glowed red as a stream of red energy connected the two.

Fearow, Pikachu, and Scizor took a step forward as they knew that the plan had worked perfectly.

Nothing could ruin this moment.

Crimson aura blasted through the middle of the Lavender Tower shaking the entire structure before swirls of aura covered the entire Lavender Tower.

Scizor, Pikachu, Fearow, and Pidgeot protected Munna while she used dream eater on Haunter.

Suddenly Fearow's eyes widened as he used aerial ace to fly off causing Pikachu and the others to look at Fearow in confusion.

Why did he suddenly fly off?

Fearow dive-bombed down Lavender Tower as he recognized that crimson aura.

When he was injured by Charmeleon's previous trainer he sensed a spike of aura from his trainer.

Just before he found out about Raticate's death, he remembered again feeling that spike in the aura.

This crimson aura was the same as that of his trainer's.

Fearow's heart sped up as he anxiously thought his trainer might be in danger.

Fearow used drill run to break through Lavender Tower windows as he entered the floor Austin was on.

What he saw truly shocked him to his core.

[ Haunter's Dreamland ]

Ever since her enslavement, Haunter had only one way of freedom, and the hat was through her dreams.

The mist clouded the small tawny hills that rolled over the land like a soft blanket. Munna opened her eyes, swirls of blues and purples surrounded her. She pushed herself up to her feet. 

Wait, feet ?!

Munna's eyes widened as she found herself in a human body.

Her jaw fell open in awe as she looked around. She felt so small in this huge place. A single, soft beam of light broke through the shade from the leaves. The air stung with the faint scent of honey and rain. The brown-haired man had a mix of confusion and awe written on his face. "Is this..." She trailed off. She looked down at her hands, they had a strange transparent gleam to them. "Is this Haunter's Dream ?" She mumbled to herself. Her heart raced, and she felt as light as a feather. Munna looked around, just now realizing the overwhelming colors and glows that surrounded this new-found world. "Woah..." She walked onwards, the meadow grass crunching underneath her shoes as the light kissed her skin. A low bellow filled the air. She jumped, watching as a whale swam joyfully through the air as if it were in the water. The large animal swam through the clouds, joining another group of whales that seemed to be quite keen with large bubbles that were flowing through the "air". Munna quickened her pace, walking through fields of grass. She could even see the dew forming on the tips as they glittered against the sunlight that cut through the cloud cover. Her fingers brushed against the cool bark of a willow tree. Munna walked on through a small flower field, tiny Butterfree's emerging from their sleep. They fluttered past her face, one in particular caught her eye. She reached for a handout, the cobalt butterfree settling itself gently on a finger. "Beautiful." She breathed in astonishment, looking at the dazzling color.

"It is, isn't it?" A voice spoke out.

Munna jumped, immediately causing the tiny butterfree to flap its wings in alarm. She watched as it flew up toward the clouds. She whipped her head towards the sound of the voice. Her eyes widened.

A tall, blonde man stood in front of him. He had a calm smile plastered on his face. His green eyes bore into the other's, his eyes glazed. It was almost like he was in a trance. "Hello." He grinned. "To think the movie dream eater could be used in such a creative way. Amazing !" He asked, stepping closer.

Munna took a step back. "Um." She inspected the stranger. He wore a lime green hoodie and black jeans. He had a smile charm on his belt and gloved hands. "Haunter ?!." She asked.

" Like my form, this is what my trainer used to look like."

" He is handsome." Munna replied to which Haunter smiled and she replied," I am sure he would have loved to hear such words."

Munna turned her back, taking in the breathtaking view. Clouds and mist lay across the land. She could see the group of warlords from here, their happy bellows shook the air. The two stood on a hill, the bench accompanied by two powerlines. Tiny birds perched themselves on the wires, singing their songs to one another.

"The World of Dreams is a beautiful one." Haunter said as the small smile on her face disappeared as a replica of Lavender Tower formed in front of them.

" I know what you are here for. If you had asked me when I was not under that thing's spell if it could even be defeated, I would have laughed but now after spending decades under the commands of this thing. I have found a way.

Let me show you how you can defeat this monster once and for all "

The vast majority of winged pokemon use them to traverse the air. A few bugs, such as Beedrill and Venomoth, have wings that are primarily used in other attacks such as Poisonpowder, and fly low through the forests despite lacking the flying type.

A Clefable's wings are commonly believed to be purely for decoration, having no obvious use, but this is not the case. In the reduced gravity of the Moon and the upper atmosphere, Clefable flies around on the back of their tiny wings; it is simply that Earth's gravity is too strong to allow them to fly. However, they remain awkward pokemon on land and continue to seek a way back to the stars.

To this end, the Clefable invited Zubat to share their caves beneath Mount Moon, in the hopes of evolving them and using them as mounts. Unfortunately for the Clefable, few Zubat evolved within such cramped living conditions, and those who did led the Zubat to turn against their hosts. In a ferocious war mostly unseen by man, the Zubat killed all the Clefable and most of the Clefairy and seized the caves for themselves.

It is said that some caves have remained the property of the Clefable, their entrance barred to humans and Zubat alike, and that only on the night of the full moon do the Clefairy and Clefable emerge to pray for a spaceship to return them home.
